Maxime; the Latin for special; and at Maxime High School, you’ve got to prove you’re pretty special to even begin with a chance at getting a place there. At a school known for being specifically for elite students, not just academia guarantees you a place. Students must excel in many areas to be granted a place at the school that has been running for decades. Although, despite their many talents, not all students behave. Some may have been in the wrong place at the wrong time, and some may have been trying to prevent it from happening. But, there were also those who caused the accident. What started out as just a bit of fun ended in a whole lot more… And the burnt remains of a building.
Numerous students have been sentenced to a month in isolation during the Summer whilst everyone else goes home for vacation. They’ll be forced to undergo tasks to improve their teamwork, people skills and combat their weaknesses. If they want to stand a chance at getting through their gruelling punishment they’ll have to work together and utilise one another’s abilities. If they want to go home they have to get through what the school calls Remora.
Versutia ; Those in Versurtia aren’t necessarily noticed at first. Their talents and strengths are masked and hidden, they’re sly and although members of this house may seem quiet, shy and reserved, their desire to succeed is just powerful.
Fortis ; Members of Fortis are leaders and will openly fight for what they believe in. They are often very compassionate and unafraid to speak up and stand their ground, they have a high endurance and a strong sense of good and evil.
Ipsum ; They're smart, both book smart and street smart. Those in Ipsum have their heads switched on and are very logical. They know how to use their brains and are good at acting under pressure. They will think before their actions. They’re wary of consequences.
Superbia ; Often stubborn and hot headed. Superbia members are very headstrong and will often speak and act without considering where this could lead them. They embarrass easily and are concerned about what others think. Their desire to be accepted often drives them to succeed. They often fear failure.

Believe it or not, this story is actually a remake, a rewrite of an apply fic I wrote 3 or 4 years ago under the account LoveLikeLucifer. It’s actually when Alex and I first started talking which is crazy! We both started reminiscing about the story and decided to bring it back again together in a totally new light with new applicants. Hopefully my writing has improved since then OTL.

The fact that it's been 4 years since we've known each other is crazy. Back before layouts were a thing, and when applications were made on different websites not blog posts omg. I hope everyone applies and gives this story a lot of love we'll be working hard to bring it back to life!
