Dara’s POV

 

“No way… This is all just a bad dream.. Yeah that’s it.. It’s just a bad dream..”

 

I closed my eyes hoping that when I open it I’ll be back where I was before this happened.

 

“When I open my eyes, everything will be back to….” I tried convincing myself.

 

 

“normal..” I then open my eyes.

 

I blink again…. Again…… and again.

 

I tried pinching myself. “Ouch!” I soothe my cheek which was reddened due to my doing.

 

My God! I don’t know what’s happening.

 

 

 

I observe where I was…

 

 

A distant horizon, a carpet of greenery…

 

A red-brown city, surrounded by ramparts!!

 

 

 

I can feel my hand trembled and my knees weakened.

 

“What happened..? I was.. on a date with Jiyong…

We’d just watched a movie and were walking in the park…

how did this happen?”

 

 

I tried to decipher what was happening. I felt helpless.. I don’t know what to do.

 

 

 

My mind was still jumbled with thousand of questions when I heard running foot steps towards me.

 

 

“ἕԆᴂԒ!” I heard one man shouted. Then I saw a group of men carrying sword while running towards me.

 

“Soldiers?!” They must be soldiers based from their appearance.

 

I have no idea what’s going on.. but I get the feeling that I should run away.

 

I got up and ran as fast as I can.

 

 

While I was running I remembered what happened to me days before this happened.

 

Before I came here, from God knows where.

 

 

I had been hearing a voice!  I thought I was just hallucinating!

 

 

The voice that left me paranoid for days..

 

 

The voice that I heard when I got into the water..

 

 

The voice felt as cold as ice.. ‘I’ve caught you, my girl!’

 

 

 

I looked at my back and I saw some soldiers still chasing me.

 

 

 

I don’t understand, but I’d better run away!

 

 

But even so, where should I run to!?

 

These brick-red clay walls are like a maze.

 

I don’t know where I’m running!

 

 

I run towards the corner on my right to avoid the soldiers following me.

 

 

I kept running and running until I reach some isolated place.

 

 

I turned to my left. I saw someone standing with a cloak covering him.

 

 

Damn! There are people this way too!

“Ԇᴂἕ€” Geez! I can’t understanding what he’s is saying.

 

 

I think he saw how tense I am.

 

 

I saw him removed his hood.

 

 

 

My eyes widen upon seeing his face.

 

I thought angel’s doesn’t exist! But seeing him standing regally made me wonder about it.

 

I can’t find the words to say.. as if something has caught my tongue!

 

 

 

“₪₫ℓ‽ῼῧῳ? (You’re not a soldier are you?) ”  

 

 He asked me calmly but still, I cannot understand what he is talking about!

 

 

I can hear foot steps going to our direction.

 

 

It’s the soldiers!

 

What should I do?

 

There’s nowhere left to run to!!!

Sensing my distress, the stranger suddenly pulled me down and kissed me on the lips while covering us with his cloak.

 

 

What…!? I don’t even know this guy.. this is nothing like Jiyong’s gentle kiss…

 

This… this hurts!

 

I tried to struggle from his hold.

 

 

“Hey! A girl came this way.” I heard a guy’s loud voice.

 

“Which way did she run?” I heard another one.

 

 

“A girl?” I heard the stranger holding me said.

 

 

He then continued, “Well, I must not have noticed her. When I’m with a woman, no other woman can catch my eyes.” He said while covering my mouth with his left hand and his right holding me down.

 

 

“It’s Jaejoong-sama!” I heard one of the soldier said.

 

“Jaejoong-sama! Why are you in a place like this?” Another soldier said.

 

“Uhm, we seek a girl… Were sure a girl in strange clothes came this way..” O
