“Umma, my teacher said we have, a special father’s day celebration, all daddy should be there… Can appa come?”
He couldn’t sweetheart.
“I’m sorry baby…”
He’s happy with someone else now…
“Appa’s never coming back”
It was never easy telling what’s happening with your already broken family. She was just a baby, my darling little girl, who never met her father, not even once… and yet here she goes, asking about the man that left me hanging alone at the hospital fighting with my own unsure life just to bring her- my bundle of joy alive.
He just left us, unknown to what is yet to come… but my baby wouldn’t stop, she wouldn’t not until her father finds his way home… until Appas’ home is complete once again.
