Sungmin sighed once again. He would probably be shorter than the middle school-kids if he sighed anymore, he ironically thought. He rested his chin in the palm of his hand as he tried to focus on class. French. Not his favorite subject in the world really, but fully endurable. His teacher, Mrs. Lee, was testing them on some words they’ve had for homework.
Sungmin tried to avoid Mrs. Lee’s attention. Don’t choose me. Don’t choose me.
“Sungmin-sshi, would you please translate these words?” Mrs. Lee asked him as she wrote something half unreadable on the whiteboard. Damn… Sungmin didn’t know the words. He gave Mrs. Lee an excusing smile. “I’m sorry, I don’t know them…” He slightly pouted.
“Oh… Uhm, it’s okay, I’ll let you pass this time”, Mrs. Lee smiled back at him.
Sungmin thankfully smiled back. Maybe this baby face of his was quite useful know that he thought about it. He leaned back in the chair and listened as his classmates murmured French phrases and words.
When French class finally was over, it was time for lunch. Sungmin went over to the cafeteria and joined up with Kangin and Shindong in the line.
After getting their food, they went over to their usual table in the corner of the cafeteria. On the way, Sungmin were concentrating a bit too much on his food and didn’t see the puddle of spilled milk on the floor in front of him. Oh ..! Sungmin thought as he slipped and the feeling of falling backwards overwhelmed him. He shut his eyes and waited for the painful hit, but it never came. To his surprise he felt a strong arm catching him, pulling him up on his feet.
When he opened his eyes, he realized that he was in the arms of another guy. Sungmin got trapped in the eyes of his savior and tried to read them. They seemed... frozen. Surprised. But there was something behind them, something else.
“Ehmm… you can let go now…” Sungmin slowly said as he broke the staring contest. He looked away and could feel the heat climb up his cheeks. When he shifted his eyes back to the male, he could almost sense a little smile tingle in the corner of his lips.
“Mhmm” Kyuhyun said in a slightly amused voice. He loosened his grip of the boy. He had been quite light, lighter than his last girl actually. And there was something… special about him, something that made Kyuhyun’s heart embed itself with softness. The blush on his cheeks made him look adorable, maybe a little bit girlish, but still…
Kyuhyun snapped out of it as he heard Leeteuk call his name. “I have to go… I’ll see you around…” He gave the boy one last look before he turned around and went over to the rest of his friends. He sat down next to Ryeowook. “Hey, man… what’s up with the grin on your face?” Ryeowook pinched Kyuhyun’s cheeks. Kyuhyun laughed and pushed Wookies hands away, but he too wondered. Yeah, why am I smiling like this?

Finally. Sungmin let out a happy sigh, for once. He only had one lesson left. Soon, he could go home.
It had been a disturbing day, just as Mondays seemed supposed to be. He rubbed his temples as he thought back to the cafeteria. The guy who had saved him had been on his mind all day. He could forget his ravishing eyes, that curious look on his face, the feeling of his arms around his body, creating something safe inside him. It was almost suffocating. Pressuring him.
Sungmin put on a frown on his face as he checked his schedule. His last lesson was P.E. He didn’t like it, and he wasn’t good at it. He’d honestly rather have French for the whole day. Sungmin suspected that he was born without either coordination or condition. Just the thought of running almost made him transpire.
After a quick change of clothes he went out on the grass field. The P.E. teacher blew a whistle and the all gathered around him. Obviously; it was time for some ‘Macho, manly football’. And they were going to play against their parallel class who had a reputation of having some real gangsters.
“Sungmin! You’ll be the goalkeeper!” Their teacher Mr. Park said as he pushed the ball into Sungmin’s arms. , there’s no way I’ll survive this. With an expression of having already given up, Sungmin went up to the goal.
The ball has been kicked and the match was on. Kyuhyun had been surprised when their homeroom teacher told them that their ordinary P.E. teacher was sick and that they were going to play with another class. Whatever, we’ll beat these little crickets; Kyuhyun smirked to himself as he stole the ball and chased it towards the goal. Even though he didn’t work out or did any sorts, he was quite athletic. It wasn’t hard stealing the ball from the opponents.
He passed the ball to Leeteuk, who passed it on to Ryeowook. “Kyuhyun-ah!” Ryeowook hollered as he kicked the ball to Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun easily caught it. He put all his strength in his next kick and aimed for the goal. He thought. But there was something in the way of the goal, to be more specific; someone. The goalkeeper. And the ball hit him like a rocket.
He got a surprise when he saw the guy he had saved from tripping during the lunch fall down on his knees, holding his stomach, swiping for air to fill his lungs with. . Kyuhyun groaned to himself as he saw Sungmin fall over and faint.
