I'm not entirely sure what this is, to be quite honest with you. I saw a prompt on tumblr: describe a color without ever mentioning the color itself. And so I began to wonder if I could write an entire story through the descriptions of colors, painting a bigger picture of what was going on without sitting down and writing a full length fic about it. I'd definitely say it's more artistic and... odd than anything I've ever done before, but I'm just going with it and seeing what happens!

I'm also not entirely sure where this story is going. It might end up being a one shot -- one color centric. Depending on how things go, this might expand into a collection of colors. It's a work in progress, and a very interesting one at that.

This probably won't appeal to everyone -- that's okay. Honestly, I'd be really surprised if this was anyone's forte. But like I said, I'm going with it. Hopefully it works out, but if it doesn't, no harm no foul!
