"Are you seriously going to make me choose?" You stared straight into his hardening eyes. 

Silence. Kai was in dilemma. He wants you to go but at the same time he does not want to let you go, even if it's just one year. One year can change everything. Her feelings might change too. He gloomily thought.

10 seconds passed but still nothing.

You let out an absurd laugh. " I thought you will support me, tell me to pursue my dream. But obviously, I thought wrong." You started to walk away. Swiftly, Kai hugged you from the back. " I just love you too much to let you be far away from me. Please understand that." 

What a foolish and selfish statement. You clenched your fist. Emotion took over you. Thoughtless words were spilling from your mouth.

"You're wrong if you I think I will stay with you. You're just my boyfriend. I'm not going to let this rare opportunity slips because of someone like you." You coldly spat those words. 

Just my boyfriend. Someone like you. His heart shattered at your words. Slowly, he pulled away from you. "My opinion does not matter to you? Am I not matter to you?" He whispered.

"We're in highschool, Jongin. Do you think that our relationship will last forever? You may call it love now but, honestly it can be just your infatuation." You met his eyes. No, take that back, Jung Hyemi! You brain told you but your ego took over. 

Your statement was a big slap for him. It was like you were someone else. He could not do this, he would not accept this. Tears threatened to fall from his eyes. With heavy steps, he walked away from you. 

Since then, both of you never talked to each other.
