Buddies and Puppies
Description
A story of how two puppies of similar breed and looks managed to give their owners one last chance to meet.
I forgot where I got the inspiration of this story from, but come to think of it it's kind of related to Air Buddies/Santa Buddies yet not related so I don't know. But I'm sure I didn't get the inspiration from there yup. Okay so here goes... Oh and I wrote this before Kris left so ya. Don't ask too much.
Foreword
"Ma," Kris said as he looked at his mother who was unable to stop crying. "Ma, stop crying," Kris pleaded.
"Fan, I really don't know how to tell you this..."
Kris stared at his mother who had been crying every since she came into his ward after having a conversation with his doctor. He really wanted to hear about what happened, but first he had to settle his crying mother.
"The doctor said..." his mother stopped looking at his hand in hers and looked up at Kris, "he said that you have only one month left."
Kris closed his eyes and tried to contain the sorrow that was growing within him. Even though he knew that death was going to come after battling this disease for 3 years, he was still not prepared to leave this world.
He had just turned 23 a some time ago, and there were still a few weeks to Christmas. Christmas was slightly over that one month. He still wanted to see Christmas one more time.
He grimaced as he remembered how he hadn't fulfilled the promise of a childhood best friend whom he hadn't met after they parted ways after grade school, and willed himself to complete that promise no matter what.
"Ma, let's get a dog."
