Yuri’s pov

I-I lost…. I thought in my mind as I fell on my knees.
“Yul!” Gallade shouted as I looked up and seeing him slowly struggling to get up
“We can win this.” He said
“We can't..” I said starting to tear up
“DON'T YOU EVER GIVE UP ON ME YURI!! We've been in so many adventures and battles, and now you start giving up because you're losing to a gym battle? That's not the Yuri I know. The Yuri that I know never loses. We will fight until we can't fight anymore.” He said as I nod
I stood up as I wiped my tears away.
“Oh..?” Wulfuric said
“We will win until we don't have anymore strength left.” I said as Wulfuric was smirking
“Bring it.” He said
“Lets finish this! Use leaf blade!” I shouted as Gallade went towards Wulfuric’s Avalugg.
“Use avalanche.” He said as Gallade got hit by the avalanche

“Get out of there with close combat!” I shouted as Gallade was hitting Avalugg on it's head as it didn't budge
“Use Ice fang.” He said as Gallade’s feet was getting iced on
“Now use Gyro ball!” He said as Avalugg spinned around in circles as Gallade was being pushed to the wall, passed through my right side as I was shocked as I then turned around and saw Gallade fainted
“Gallade is unable to battle. The winner is Avalugg, that means Wulfuric, the gym leader is the winner.” The ref said as I walk towards Gallade to help him sit up as he said
“I'm sorry Yul… We did our best on this gym battle. We will win next time.” He said as I didn't reply to him
“Hmph! Well, I hope you learn something today. Being rigid can make you tough, but fragile too. You’re better off being flexible, but hey, I’m stubborn and I love ice-type pokemon, so what about you, kid? How far will you go, depending on how much you believe on your pokemon. The fact is you haven’t earn your badge because you didn't believe on you pokemon. All you believe was you winning this gym.” He said as I looked at the floor as he was right.

I was at the pokecenter as I was looking at Gallade on the other side of the window, watching him being healed by Nurse Joy.
“Yul.” I heard Sica said as she puts her hand on my back
“I shouldn’t have push Gallade so hard… All I was thinking about was winning and not thinking about my pokemon’s feelings at all.. I'm such a terrible trainer, Sica.” I said as tears was starting to form
“You are not a terrible trainer. You are a great trainer. Sure.. you lost because you forgot about your pokemon’s feeling, so what? But, you guys have been through a lot. Going through adventures, having fun batting, winning badges and even training. Not one person I ever seen being so caring to their pokemon. You are not like team Galactic, how they use their pokemon as weapons and wanted to reset the pokemon world. You are different and that's what makes you what you are today. Caring, fun, and loving trainer.” Sica said as she wipes my tears away.
“I don't know if I want to rematch Wulfuric. I don't want to make the same mistake as I did.” I said
“You won't. I believe in you.” She said as I slightly smiled
“I think I need to talk a walk.” I said as I left Sica there and went outside of the pokecenter.

Jessica’s Pov

As Yul was gone, Nurse Joy came out of the Pokecenter ER and walked towards me.
“Is Gallade going to be ok??” I asked
“Gallade is fully healed. He’s just exhausted from all the battling and also there's some spots that hurt him really bad and I put some patches, so with that, I think Gallade should take a break from battling. Just until when his injuries are good to go. If you want to see Gallade, you can follow Chansey to the room.” Nurse Joy replied as I nodded
“Thank you.” I said as I bowed as she left.
I followed the pokemon Chansey as I looked behind to see if Yul came back, but she didn't. As we made it to the room, Chansey was putting up everything, just like nurses do in the hospital in the real world.
“Thank you Chansey.” I said to the pokemon as she smiling at me
“Chansey!” Chansey said as she walked out the room
“Are you okay Gallade?” I asked as he looked at me and smiled and nodded
“Where's Yuri??” He asked as I looked at the door and then back at him
“Yuri went to take some fresh air.. She feels bad of hurting your guys feelings. She thinks she's a bad trainer for pushing you guys in the gym battle.” I said to him
“Yuri needs to get out of the cloud.” Gallade said
