There's love even in hard times
One night at the hospitalYoungjae scrunched his face as he heard loud noises coming from outside the room, he opened his eyes and slowly sat himself up, remembering where he was. The youngers eyes landed on Daehyun still asleep by his side. He didn't want to wake the other up so he carefully sneaked out of the bed, grabbed his things and went on his way out. He was about to open the door but stopped in his tracks as he heard his name being called
" Youngjae... Don't leave " Daehyun pleaded still half asleep.
Youngjae turned to face him.
" D-dae! I'm sorry, i woke you up " He said looking down,a small pout on his lips.
He put his things on the floor and crawled back into the bed beside Daehyun and took his best friends hand in his. Looking up at the ceiling he felt Daehyun's body by his side and started thinking.
" Daehyun " Youngjae said, sounding a bit insecure.
" are we even friends? "
Daehyun looked slightly shocked as he said
" of course! What are you thinking? "
" No! I mean... I feel like we're.. something else "
Youngjae whispered the last part as he embarrassedly hid his face in Daehyun's chest.
" like what? "
Daehyun asked a bit amused at the others actions.
" like... S-soul mates? " Youngjae said almost inaudible. He was expecting the other to laugh at him
Daehyun's face became hot as he felt his heart beating faster.
" I... I think we are too "
He whispered, the words sounding through the quiet room as he slid his free arm around the others smaller body.
Youngjae looked up at the older, shocked and his face still red. No more words were uttered as they stared into each others eyes. Their feelings speaking for them as they slowly closed the space between them. Lips joining together in a sweet kiss
