Chapter 28

    Kai pov:     Silently I walked up to the figure standing above my mate. Slowly it raised its knife. Power course through my veins as I threw the figure across the room. With a loud thud she crash into the wall. The knife fell out of the figures hand and crashed onto the floor. I jumped over the couch and pin the figure on the wall.   "If I were you Jessica I wouldn't do that."   "Let me go."   "Your not going to hurt her?"   "No."   "Than why did you try to kill her."   "Because of her I lost everything, of course I want her gone."   "What do you mean."   "I have gone after you for years and she just shows up one day and you like her more than me. Because of the crush I had on you my family won't look and me the same. They now see me as a failure because I couldn't get you. She just showed up and she got you. It's not fair."   "I don't care if it's not fair. You can't go hurting people to get what you want."    "Kai let her go." Nova spoke up.   "Your awake." I said.   "I woke up when you through her against the wall."   "How did you do it?" Jessica said.   "Do what?" Nova asked.   "Get him so easily."   "I didn't even try. It just happened. It's called mating at first sight. It's when you make eye contact with the wolf you are supposed to be with."   "So you are monsters."   "No not monsters, just wolfs. Kai please take Jessica to her room."   "But I'm not done with her." I protested.   "Please."   "Fine."
