Global Girls (Korean: 세계 여자; stylized as Global Girls) is a South Korean girl group formed by Jellyfish Entertainment in 2014. The group is a nine-member group, which consists of Alice, Ying, Ashley, Kenna, Chanta, Zyanya, Rose, Eunsong and Lizzy.

About
Name
The name of the group was created due to the diversity of ethnicities in the group. This name means that the girls are from different cultures and that they will be showing us the as piece of the "world".
Pre-debut
On November 21, 2014 Jellyfish Entertainment announced that they will debuted their first girl group. Jellyfish Entertainment revealed that the group would be multi-racial and the the girls have had many multiple pre-debut experiences.
The group consists of 9 girls from different parts of the world. The order of the line-up revealation is oldest to youngest (Alice, Ying, Ashley, Kenna, Chanta, Zyanya, Rose, Eunsong and Lizzy).
Alice is the only full Korean of the group but was born in Los Angeles, California, United States. She also has the longest training years out of them, 8 years. She appeared in Shinhwa's "This Love", "Venus" and "Sniper". Alice has also auditioned for many companies before getting into Jellyfish Entertainment.
Ying is originally from Bangkok, Thailand and is Thai-Chinese. She has appeared in 2PM's "Go Crazy", Boyfriend's "Don't Touch My Girl" and NU'EST's "I'm Bad". She is a former trainee of S.M. and was originally suppose to debut with girl group, f(x), but was replaced by Victoria Song.
Ashley was born in Yangon, Myanmar and is Korean-Burmese. She used to be a Burmese model. Ashley appeared in EXO's "Miracles in December" and GOT7's "Stop Stop It". Ashley also starred in Dream High 2 as Lee Seul.
Kenna is the only member that doesn't look like she came from an Asian descent. She was born in Devon, United Kingdom and is British-Korean Like Ashley, Kenna is also a former model. She has modeled for Vogue Girl Korea, Ceci, InStyle Korea, Nylon Korea, MCM, and Gap Korea.
Like fellow member Ying, Chanta was born in Bangkok, Thailand but is Thai-Korean. Chanta is a former JYP trainee. She has appeared in GOT7's "Girls Girls Girls" and "A". Chanta also appeared in GOT7's internet drama Dream Knight.
Zyanya is originally from Guadalahjara, Jalisco, Mexico and is Korean-Mexican. Chanta isn't the only member who previously trained at JYP Entertainment, so did Zyanya. Zyanya starred as Kim Joo Ah in Hi! School: Love On. She also starred in Infinite's "Last Romeo", GOT7's "A" and labelmate VIXX's "Love Equation".
Rose is originally from Hong Kong, China. Rose also happens to be GOT7's Jackson's younger sister. She also is a former national junior gymnast.
Eunsong is from Melbourne, Australia and is Korean-Japanese. Her little cousin is Choo Sarang from Superman is Back. Eunsong is known to have the most pre-debut experiences out of the 9 girls. She starred in: Super Junior's "Evanescene" and "Mamacita", NU'EST's "Hello" and "Sleep Talking", EXO's "Miracles in December", labelmate VIXX's "Eternity" and "Error", SHINee's "Dream Girl" and "Dazzling Girl" and Boyfriend's "Witch" and "I Yah. She has endoresed for the following brands: Etude House, LG Electronics, Bean Pole, Elite School Uniform, Jardin Coffee, Freestyle Sports, CAPA, Adidas Women, and Tiffany and Co.
Lizzy was born in Krakow, Poland and is Korean-Polish. She starred in the mini-drama "Ma Boy". She has starred in Boyfriend's "I Yah" and Infinite's "Back". Lizzy is a former trainee of Big Hit Entertainment.
