It was already past 9 pm yet it's still too early for me to sleep. I've been feeling bored lately because of the usual routine I have every single day.

"I want to have something new." I said to myself as I adjust the pillow under my head to make myself more comfortable. I reached out for my phone and clicked on the Kakaotalk icon.

"Hmm... should I bother Luna today? It's been a while since we've talked." I muttered before clicking on her name.

Hey Luna! When are we going to hang out again?

You're so busy that you already forgot about me huh?!

I waited for her reply but nothing came. I guess she is already asleep or still busy working. She's such a workaholic. I scrolled down the names list to find other people to talk with but I can't seem to find one. I hate the feeling of bothering other people that's why I don't send messages that much. I only talk with my close friends but unfortunately, they're all busy. I sighed. I thought about sending Scott a message too but decided not to.

"What should I do now?" I waited a little more for Luna's reply before finally giving up.

"Maybe I should just sleep this off." I thought before finally locking my phone. I positioned myself comfortably on the bed, not forgetting to place my long pillow under my legs to make sure I won't have a back ache in the morning then closed my eyes. Just when I was getting drowsy, I heard my phone beep. 

"Aish..." I groaned. "Luna... why now..." I grumpily got my phone and was blinded by the light from the screen. I squinted my eyes as I checked  the message only to find out that it wasn't from Luna but from an unknown number.

Hi.

It took me a couple of minutes before I replied. I don't usually talk to strangers but maybe I know who this is so I gave it a try.

Uh... hello... who is this?

It didn't take long for the stranger to reply.

I'm Krystal. What's your name?

My name? Should I just give my name to someone I don't know? I felt a little nervous so I just replied with,

Uhm... Do I know you?

Just after replying, my phone started ringing. I took a deep breath before answering.

"Hello?"

"Wow, your voice sounds cool." she said with a chuckle. I can feel my face heat up. Her voice, it's eargasmic.

"Yours sounds... pretty." I said mindlessly.

"Haha! Thanks." Her laughter brought me more in a trance that I couldn't speak. "Uh... hello? Still there?" she said again.

"O-oh... yeah... s-still here." I stuttered.

"So... tell me more about yourself..."

I thought about what to say. "Well... I am very paranoid..." Damn that's not what I wanted to say. Stupid mouth.

"Obviously... haha!"

"But that's because my parents are so protective of me..."

"And why is that?"

"Because I'm their youngest daughter. I have a big sister who is very crazy... my dad can't tie her down so when he gave up on her, he put all his attention to me."

"Oh you poor thing..." she teased while giggling. That giggle... so cute. I thought while smiling like an idiot.

"How about you? What do you like to do?"

"Hmm... let's see... I am really into arts. When I have free time, I just browse some art magazines or watch really good movies. I stay in my room most of the time."

"Sounds like you are not the outdoor type." I said with a chuckle.

"That's absolutely true. And you? What do you enjoy doing?"

"Well, I love to ride my skateboard. I also love playing sports and stuff or go to amusement parks. I really want to have an active lifestyle so I try to stay outside as much as possible."

"Wow... we're totally oppposites." 

"Yeah... Hmm... wait, you say you're just nearby where I am, right?"

"Yes... Why?"

"What if we have already seen each other before but were just clueless about it?"

"Ooohh... that is possible." she said with a giggle and I chuckled back.

"So where do you usually hang out when you go outside?" I asked.

"Uhm... the cafe near the chicken restaurant is cozy so I sometimes go there to have coffee."

"Cafe? Hmm... I am not very familiar with cafes around here 'cause I only go to milk tea shops." I said.

"Oh... Milk tea lover?" she asked in a high tone which I found very cute.

"Haha... yes. And you're on the coffee side I guess?"

"Yup!"

"That's cool... My sister likes coffee too!"

"Well you know I could try milk tea sometimes." she said which made me a little confused.

"Meaning?"

"Well you know, in case you wanna meet me." That surprised me a little. 

"Y-you wanna meet me?" I asked stupidly.

"I think so. I mean, what's the purpose of talking this long if we're not gonna talk face to face?" I looked at the time and it's almost midnight.

"Oh... you have a point." I said.

"Then, meet me tomorrow?" My heart raced. Is she for real?

"W-what?"

"Meet me tomorrow."

"But why? Isn't it too sudden?"

"It is."

"Then why?"

"Because I want to see you."

"But we're strangers."

"Are we still?"
