Many legend, stories and tales that has been past down from generations to generations about the Red Wolf; saying how if one is ever able to capture the Red Wolf great fortune, wealth and powers will be yours. 

In legends the Red Wolf is described to as beautiful as the sun and moon combined, with glossy ruby red fur and bright silver eyes. It is faster than horses, stronger than top predators, but also smart and cunning. Other legends have been from farmers from small villages, that they have caught glimpse of red wolf near the forest but it would disappear as fast as it came or that they have found red wold fur on the ground or stuck in bushes. After wards their village crops would flourish and the village would be blessed for a year, but incidents like these are extremely rare.

In stories it’s been told that the secret to the Dragon nations victory to the Dark War was that the king’s hunters were able to capture the Red Wolf, that brought them luck and victory. There are many stories that the royal family has the wolf trapped behind the castle walls, so they can continue to be the most powerful nation. But no one besides the royal family would know the truth behind that story.

In tales the Red Wolf is able to turn into human, few have said to have once talked to the red wolf. But can you really believe them. It seems that when the wolf turns human it will still have it’s fiery red hair, ears and tail, but its eyes will change to dark brown. Some tales say when people get lost in the forest, the would Red Wolf leave a trail of blue stones to guide them out, but this is also rare. Those stones are sold at high prices as charms or to ward off bad luck.

These are the many stories that Junhyung grew up hearing, maybe because he lives in the Dragon nation. Where they highly praise the Red Wolf to a point where villager from young to old would know this legend and have a whole day to celebrate the nations victory in honor of the Red Wolf. Junhyung always wondered where the Red Wolf came from, but none of the stories ever seem to mention anything about it.

Junhyung is born in a family of hunters, so naturally his father would train him and his older brother Doojoon to become hunters. Being a hunter is very rewarding; as many merchants would pay immense amount of money for the best animal fur or pelt, especially wolf fur. But being a hunter is a dangerous job, if you don’t have enough practice or skill you will get injured or in extreme cases killed while hunting.

There has been always been sibiling rivalry bewteen Junhuyng and Doojoon since they were young. Junhyung would always train long and hard hours to prove his skill to his father, but in vain Doojoon would alway do better than him . Junhuyng just didn't have the natural hunter instinct or skill to compete against his brother. So at the young age of 20 Junhyung moved away from his family to travel, to escape from his family restrictions and live freely.

This is where the Wolf and the Hunter story starts.
