Sempiternal

Description

Sempiternal;

Useful for describing something endless. Although it’s often used the same way you’d use the word “eternal,” in philosophy there is a distinction between those terms. “Eternal” implies something that is infinite outside the bounds of time, like God, while sempiternal is a more earthbound way to talk about forever.

He showed her forever within one’s limited days and for that, she was eternally grateful.

Foreword

Autumn came in heaps of fallen leaves and early sunsets.

Park Chanyeol, too, came like an unexpected autumn breeze, cheeky and fleeting, stirring up her life like fallen leaves in his wake.

When they first told her a boy would be visiting her ward, she did not, in any possible sense of mind, expect a chatty, overly-excited fellow who had too long legs and an affection for furry animals.

Barely anyone, ever came into her ward with a smile. But he came. All six feet one of him with his omnipresent smile that became her medication.

He showed her forever in such a limited lifetime, and taught her that everyone had a little magic in them. She could’t remember how many sunsets they spent together, but with Chanyeol it was always autumn. Not quite the intense heat of summer, and never the biting coldness of winter. Somewhere in-between summer and winter, was his deep rumbling laughter so warm as it lulled her into serenity, making her forget that as all seasons had to come to an end, autumn would be gone, and so would he.

Undeniably inspired by The Fault In Our Stars.

Please forgive me if the actual story isn't up soon because school's a hassle and I'm a pea-brained writer who loses her train of thought too often. But I will try my best!

Here's wishing everyone happiness in a bundle called Park Chanyeol.
