Jackson's eyes widened in astonishment.

This is my Christmas gift to all of the humans who have read, subscribed, and upvoted Marshmallow. I may not express it much— okay fine, at all— but I'm really thankful for the love my first ever uploaded fic is receiving. Thank you. It makes me really happy. :D

This chapter just entered my mind when I was re-writing my KrisBer fic. I hope this is not that trashy for a gift. I hope I don't disappoint and if ever I do, then I'm really sorry. Just hit me with a brick or a chair. Thanks.

Jackson may or may not have fret a lot during his and Mark's first and second date but now, his worries had intensified tenfold. Because , this isn't just a ing date, dammit! Though Jackson really, really, wished that it was just another date, that Mark's family isn't flying from LA to Korea to spend the Christmas with Mark and that Mark didn't invited him over for Jackson to meet his parents. Of course, Jackson had thought of ways on how to kill himself before the Tuans could meet him but they would all end up on him being ugly—

Drowning? Nah, I'd turn violet.

Hanging? No! I'd turn pale white.

But when you die, you'd really turn white, idiot! Do you expect to turn rainbow?

Why are you cursing at me, you bastard? Whyyyyyy—

Why am I even having a debate in my brain?

— so he decided to just do it and get over it. Besides, Mark's car had already stopped in front of his apartment and wow, when did they reached the front door? Oh is my clothes okay do I look okay of course I'm not okay oh —

"Jackson," Mark's deep voice spoke as warmth enveloped his hand, easing away the negative thoughts and replacing it with everything Mark instead. How he would make Mark happy once he do this. How Mark's face would light up because Jackson, the love of his life (this may be or may not be an exaggeration on his part but whatever), being with his precious family would be so memorable. Besides, Mark had already met his parents, no matter how unexpected the circumstances were. Jackson sighed away his insecurities and smiled genuinely at Mark.

"It will be alright, I'm here with you."

And that was enough for Jackson to muster a bright grin even when the door was opened.

"So, Jackson, right?"

Jackson nodded with a polite smile at Mrs. Tuan. "Yes, ma'am. Wang Jackson."

"Wang, huh." Mr. Tuan spoke this time with a poker face that made Jackson a tad anxious. "Perhaps your father was a fencing athlete?"

So in the end, the couple learned that their fathers were actually acquainted with each other because they played golf once and that the two had already talked about them and that the dinner was just to learn about Jackson's personality and attitude. Yeah.

"So loosen up, boy." Mr. Tuan patted his back with a bit strength than what's required and Jackson fought the urge to cough.

"We won't eat you alive. We just wanted to see how you would react."

"Besides," Mark's sister piped up. "There would be no thrill if you knew that we already knew about you and that we have already accepted you even before you stepped inside this ty apartment."

"Hey!" Mark indignantly squawked. "My apartment's not as ty as your poor excuse of a room!"

"Excuse you, you piece of ! My room is pretty!"

"Yeah, it's pretty. Pretty ugly."

Mark's sister stood and Mark immediately sprinted away, leaving Mrs. Tuan shaking her head and her husband laughing heartily. Jackson was both dumbfounded and amused. So Mark have this side too?

Discovering new things about his lover made Jackson felt really glad and he chuckled when Mark's sister finally caught Mark and pulled on his red hair.

Mark, despite feeling as if his head would get detached from his neck anytime soon, smiled at the sight of Jackson chortling, his heart bursting with affection. Even if this time Jackson was laughing at his expense, he could let it go, though he couldn't help but comment, "I'm going to need a hair transplant after this."

Time flies when you're enjoying yourself and soon enough, Jackson was cuddling with Mark inside the older's bedroom but not before Mr. Tuan shouted a "Don't get too naughty, we're just next door!" making them blush for head to toe. Mark snuggled on Jackson's chest, ear above Jackson's heart, its pounding serving as the beat slowly lulling him to sleep. Jackson exhaled an air of contentment.

"Goodnight, Mark."

"'Night, Jacks."

It was silent for a moment before Jackson decided to break it.

"I love you."

It was the first time any of them had ever said it out loud and Mark couldn't help but feel an overwhelming bliss. He smiled as a happy tear fell from his right eye.

"I love you too."

Then Jackson felt his life click complete.

Anyway, I'm going to KCon this 28 and wow, Imma see Sistar, Bernard Park and guess who? Of course, GOT7. Why am I saying this? Because I'm really beyond happy. HAHAH! Just 7 days more.

BTW, I know Mark has two sisters (Tammy and Grace) and a brother (Joey), but since Jackson's brother on the previous chapter was nameless, I figured I would also do the same with Mark. That and I only memtioned one sister. Because two and a brother is challenging to write. HAHA OTL
