Kibum is studying very hard for his first semester at university, so much so that he kind of forgets to organize his dorm room with bff Jonghyun, who after having reminding his friend so many time just gives in and rooms with his girlfriend/boyfriend Minjung/ho. Kibum gets crany bc 'best friends you douchebag you know every thing about me you could have filled the forms yourself and forged my signature'

and Minjung/ho suggests Kibum room with their bff Taemin who has no roommate because of the unmentioned fact he's a bit of a  

and Kibum agrees because how bad can a friend of Minjung/ho's be

but its horrible

Taemin is a music student and he refuses to se headphones when in the dorm

and Kibum has to stay up late studying 90% of the time

and they just dont like each other, and at the end of the semester they very much plan for one of them to move out

but as time goes by they warm up to each other and Kibum won't complain about the music as much and he'll make extra food for Taemin ebcause the brat used to always steal his if he left it unattended and Taemin will make Kibum ramen and leave lil sticky notes around when Bummie has a late night of studying and schoolwork just to remind him to do basic stuff like eating and showering and changing out of pyjamas before going to classes

and by te end of the semester they're closer and decide not to change dorms because they have a weird friendly system

and by the end of the year they just start dating, theres no confessions or anyhing they were just watching a movie or somethign when taem holds kibums hand and maybe 10 minutes later leans over and kisses him and they just ease their way into a relationship

and kibum is still grouchy at the end of those 12 months about jjong choosing his lover over his best friend like i dont give a if your betrayal led me to meeting taemin you're a dickhead and you can go a cactus for doing that.

TaeKey college au's where they dislike each other at first then fall into mutual like and friends and then just easing into romance are my favourite, like why do taekey always gotta be the best of friends straight off  taem is such a lil he'd probably piss kibum off a lot in university situations
