“Hello?”, someone called my phone.

“Mira! Come here already! Aren’t you forgetting something?!”

“Oh my gosh! The job interview!”

“Hurry! We will start in less than 20 minutes.”

International Marketing Inc. Job interview

“Wait! I’m here, Mira Prinster.”

Just made it in time.

After 30 minutes..

“Okay, girl. Where were you?” Mint asked.

“Nothing. You know that I went to a concert, right? I overslept.”

“So, how was the interview?” she asked.

“It’s fine. They told me that they might contact me anytime soon.”

“What? How unfair! They just told me to wait next time.”

“So, how was the concert?” Mint asked.

“It was fun and by the way, wipe that sauce right on your lips.” I said.

Mint flustered wiped hurriedly the sauce.

“Well, it seems like you didn’t mean what you said.”

“What? About what?” I asked.

“That the concert was fun. It doesn’t look like it.”

Then she ate her pasta again. Sauce again.

“Mint, you should always carry a handkerchief or tissue. This is the last time that I will say it... Sauce on your lips.”

“Oh~ Sorry.” Mint apologized.

“It’s a text from the company.” I said.

Good afternoon Ms. Mira Prinster,

We’re welcoming you to the International Marketing Incorporated. You’ve passed our interview and we can see that you have a big potential in this industry.

We’ll be very happy if you’ll work for us. Be in our company at 4 this afternoon.

 “They told to me to go to their company this 4’o clock.”

“Why is it so early? They just conducted the interview this morning.”

“Well, I don’t know. I think that it’s really early to decide on the new recruited employees. Maybe I’ll ask them about it.”

4 PM. International Marketing Incorporated.

“Excuse me. May I ask why the results of the interview this morning came too fast?” I asked the representative they sent to talk with me.

“They think that you’re outstanding among all the other people who went to the interview”, she said without looking at me.

“I think that’s very unprofessional.”

“Excuse me? What did you say?”, she asked with an angry look.

“I said that it’s unprofessional. It seems like you’re rushing things.”

“We’re not. You should be thankful that you’re in this company”, her voice slightly louder than before.

“Miss Cruz.”

A man in the doorway called the representative I’m talking to.

“Miss Cruz, let me talk to Miss Prinster”, he said.

“Okay then Sir.”

Miss Cruz, the representative, left with an angry look and still looking at me. 

“Good afternoon, Miss Prinster. I’m Clark McCloyd, the secretary of this company. "

"There’s a reason why you’re called here very early. Actually, we also accepted other job employers but your situation is different."

"We need to send an employer to our affiliated company in South Korea since they need additional employers."

" We chose you to be that employer.”

“Okay! I’ll accept the job. When will I start?”, I asked enthusiastically.  

“Next week, Miss Prinster. Please prepare and good luck.”

The moment I stepped out if the company, I contacted Mint.

“MINT!!!”

“Ouch! What is it?”

“I’m going to South Korea next week!”

“What?! Why?”

“I’ll work there.”

I hung up. This is the moment I’m waiting for.

South Korea!!! Here I come!!!

I checked my twitter account and saw that N made an update.
