"taeyeon baby, you know we'll always support your decisions but are you sure you want to be an Idol? "  my mother told me I can tell by her expression that she's worry.  

They're so supportive with me,  I feel so blessed. 

" I'm sure mom,  dont worry this has always been my dream " I showed her a reassuring smile,  she smiles too 

"but what about that? Will they understand?" 

I knew what she was referring to with" that".  Even I was worried about that

"they can't know mom" I said and she hugs me,  In her warmth embrace I feel secure 

"promise me you'll be careful? " she looks into my eyes" I don't want to see you hurt"

"I promise you ill take care" I smile 

 

Who said that being a trainer was easy,  since I came to sm entertainment I've been getting better every day,  I live for the day that I'll debut recently I have been told that I'll be in a group.  I don't know how many people will be in the group but I heard,  there are already like seven girls in it 

When I first came I met this girl tiffany hwang,  she's really kind with me and has a beautiful smile,  I never thought someone could be as pretty as her,  but I needed to be careful I promised her 

"hi I'm tiffany" She told me showing her eye smile,  for a moment I thought the time was passing by slowly Like in those movies 

Noticing  she was offering her hand for a hand shake I took it 

"hi I'm taeyeon " I said,  distracted,  I did not notice I answered her in English.

"omg are you American too?"  her voice was loud too loud but still cute 

"annyo I'm Korean,  if I don't remember " I said 

" kya how cute! " she said pinching my cheeks getting close,  something I wasn't used to but I didn't mind,  not at all

 

Days passed and we became best friends I would help her to improve her Korean ,  we were always together because we were also roommates

"tae tae"  she said back hugging me

"ne tiffany"

"can you promise me something? "

" of course " I said

" promise me that we will  always be best friends? "

" you shouldn't doubt it" I said making her smile,  her smile lightens my world

"I love you... " she whispered pulling me closer

 

I love you, I love you all those I love you's made my heart race,  I didn't know when or how but I found myself each day more attached to her

 

" tae tae I have good news" she said excitedly

"okay I'm all hears phany " I said smiling dorkly

" I met this guy at the store today,  he was so kind with me,  and guess what? " she said with a big smile

That literally killed me

" What? " I said trying to sound excited as well

" he also speaks English,  so we exchanged phone numbers?" she said happily "and he's a trainer too"

" oh,  well that's amazing phany ah"

"ah jinjja?! " She jumped and hugged me 

A tear slowly was falling,  silently crying,  I didn't know I would experience a broken heart in such a young age 

Distance,  I needed distance,  distance myself from her.  I loved her but it was painful 

 

We were in this group with other seven girls,  sooyoung,  hyoyeon,  Jessica, yuri,  seohyun,  yoona and sunny.  We were all ddifferent in personalities but at the same time alike,  because we were here for the same dream. 

Being the oldest I was the leader,  which was difficult for me since I'm  awkward around people,  specially new people, I don't know but they were all kind except a girl Jessica,  she liked to pretend she didn't care about anything Or that is what she wanted to make us believe 

 

Practice finished,  but I forgot my bag with my phone so I went to search for it but what I saw really surprised me,  the ice princess was there sitting on the cold floor 

Scared by my presence she lifted up her gaze 

"practice already finished why are you still here? "  tried to sound very normal,  the true is she scared me

" like you care" she answered coldly

Tsk that was what I was talking about her cold aura

"you're my teammate of course I do" I said

She sighed

"I was talking with my parents,  I really miss them" she said softly.  From that moment I knew Jessica jung was not icy 

 

We barely talked but when we did,  our talks were always alone.  She was really funny and a kind person not like what she looked like when you first see her 

"taengo " Jessica said wrapping her arms around me kissing the top of my head.  We were always this playful but never in front of the girls,  so this surprised me 

" jeshika " I said and she giggled,   I never got to pronounce good her name 

" since when you both became closer" yuri said 

"we've always been.  What?  You care? " said Jessica coldly.  They were always fighting I just couldn't understand that friendship 

Yuri shake her head  as in no,  and left with yoona 

Days by day passed and we became really close,  I spent most of the time with Jessica than tiffany,  I couldn't handle tiffany talking about any guys she found cute.

 

It was a gloomy day for me,  but Jessica was always by my side. 

"taengo" she said sitting next to me "why so lonely? "

" nothing much and you? " 

" at least pretend like you're actually listening to me" she said pushing me lightly 

"yah I am" i said 

"you know you can trust me " she said 

" I know" I said smiling and holding her hand.  

Jessica jung is really far from icy.  

 

"Jessica I think I'm gay" I said lowering my head,  I saw her frowning but then she pulled me closed to her and hugged me,  for the first time I feel accepted.  They day I cried a lot in her shoulder but she didn't mind.  Because Jessica jung,  my best friend was a really warm princess

I told her what I most feared and she accepted me, not even tiffany knew,  because she was the one I was in love with. She shouldn't  and must not know 

Day by days passed and I noticed how close yuri and Jessica got, sometimes I envied yuri because she made her laugh not just Jessica but even tiffany. 

Well kwon Yuri was a really charming person. 

I learnt that tiffany will never love me because who was I kidding she's as straight as a rule,  but I'll always love her and Jessica was just a crush and admiration 

Months passed and I never tried something,  because I was afraid of  losing tiffany but not just her both of them.

Jessica was frozen,  static on the same noticing what taeyeon did she pushed her lightly 

"don't do it again please" Jessica said with a cracking voice which made taeyeon heart ache

"I'm so sorry sica please forgive me" said taeyeon bowing

"just don't do it again" Jessica said sternly 

"please don't go,  I love you sica  please" taeyeon said almost begging.  

 

 

"I loved you too,  so much but you never did something,  who are you trying to fool here now,  if there is something I notice was one,  you are in love with her,  you've always been why are you making me this" Jessica was about to cry her eyes where teary but not a single tear has fallen 

 

"just give me a chance sica ah I promise I won't hurt you" taeyeon said looking into her eyes " I won't fear not anymore" 

 

They say love is selfish and blind  and Jessica knew she was being selfish,  for the answer she was about to say but who was she going to lie she still had a crush for taeyeon. 

 

 

Selfish because she knew tiffany actually loved taeyeon and blind because something inside of her was telling her that she will get hurt. 

 

"just don't mess up" Jessica said pulling taeyeon  close to her and kissing her.
