Victoria was taking a rest at home when her phone rang. She stared at the phone number for a long while before answering it. Sometimes, she wondered if things would have been better if she didn’t answer that call. She came to the café shortly after ending the call. A while later, the person that called her appeared in the café.

“Vic,” Nichkhun smiled at Victoria. But his smile is filled with tiredness.

“Annyong,” Victoria greeted him. “You look tired.”

“I haven’t congratulated you on your wedding,” Nichkhun said. “How’s your marriage life?”

“Good,” Victoria answered. “How are you and Tiffany?”

“Fine I guess,” Nichkhun replied. Actually they had a quarrel few days ago. Nichkhun wanted to settle down but Tiffany wanted to focus on her career. They brought this topic up for a few times already but it never ended up well. 

While both of them are having a chat in the café, they didn’t realise that there were paparazzi outside the café. An hour later, news about Nichkhun and Victoria meeting up each other in the café is all over the internet. Kyu Hyun frowned when he saw the news on internet. Though he and Victoria’s relationship is getting closer and stable but he still felt unsecure. Victoria didn’t know that the public will be having such a big reaction because of her meeting with Nichkhun. She was called to the company after the news was spread online.

“What are you thinking?” Kim Young Min yelled at Victoria.

“You’re scaring her,” Lee Soo Man walked into the office with Kyu Hyun. “Vic, go home and take a rest. We’ll handle this.”

“I’m sorry,” Victoria told Lee Soo Man.

“Kyu Hyun, go home too,” Lee Soo Man told Kyu Hyun. “Don’t worry about it.”

When they were on their way back, Kyu Hyun didn’t say anything. It made Victoria felt worried. She didn’t want Kyu Hyun to think that she still has feeling towards Nichkhun. It ended long ago. After they walked into the house, Kyu Hyun sat down on the sofa. Victoria sat down beside him.

“Kyu Hyun, it’s not like what the paparazzi have said,” Victoria started the topic.

“Then what is it like?” Kyu Hyun asked her. 

“You know I don’t have feelings towards Nichkhun anymore,” Victoria said.

“Then why did both of you meet up at the café?” Kyu Hyun asked.

“Because he said he wanted to see me,” Victoria answered.

“Why didn’t you call me then?” Kyu Hyun asked her. 

“What difference is it going to make?” Victoria questioned him.

“Because I can accompany you and the paparazzi wouldn’t have made this into a big deal,” Kyu Hyun said.

“You don’t believe me?” Victoria asked. “You still think that I love Nichkhun?”

“I don’t know,” Kyu Hyun tried to keep himself calm by telling himself that Victoria is pregnant and he shouldn’t be angry to her. But he just couldn’t. “Vic, I’m tired of guessing your thoughts.”

“Kyu Hyun, I’m pregnant with our baby,” Victoria said. “This is the best proof for our relationship.”

“I’ll sleep in the guest room tonight,” Kyu Hyun didn’t want to continue the conversation and walked into the guest room. Both of them needed some time to calm down.
