You will not be awarded points, but the following are the criteria by which your story will be judged:
» Title – is it original and gripping?
» description (blurb) – does it make me want to read the story?
» grammar, spelling and punctuation – are they correct, or do the mistakes spoil the reading process?
» pacing – does the story move too slowly (and get frustratingly boring) or potentially too fast?
» flow – is the writing smooth? Do chapter/scene/story endings feel natural?
» description – (not necessarily of surroundings/people) can I easily envisage the world and characters in your story?
» Plot – is it predictable and/or original?
» setting – is the story setting convincing/the story realistic within the world it's set?
» characterisation and character development – are the characters life-like and realistic, and do they grow (or devolve)?
» Personal enjoyment – did I like it?
