 You know those perfect older siblings that got straight A's and were the epitome of a -kisser and then leave you on your own trying to somehow catch up? Yeah. The failing sibling was me.

 

          My parents, ever desperate to morph me into my sister, sent me from Korea to America to study abroad when I was ten. Yes, that's correct. Ten. Meaning I have been here in America for almost a decade, and through those eight years, I have seen my parents three times: Christmas at age 11 and 13, and my 17th birthday last year.

 

          Honestly, I'd have to say that my Korean .

 

          Living with my all-American aunt for all this time has pretty much made me into a normal girl...here in the US that is.

 

          That means almost no Korean speaking practice, and the last time I wrote in Hangul was when...was when my parents demanded me to when they came to visit in 2013. And just because I did it, does not, whatsoever mean that I did it correctly.
