Say Something
Description
Luhan doesn't believe in love at first sight. He doesn't believe in love at first sight because for him, it isn't a possibility.
But he does believe in love. He's believed in love since the first recording he's listened to, the soft husky voice drowning out the darkness he lives in.
Luhan is a volunteer at a library for the blind, unable to see himself. He often borrows the cassettes the library has and brings them back to his own apartment.
Sehun volunteers at the local library as well. He records stories and words into cassettes to get away from his own lonely life.
Foreword
Luhan shut the book wearily before searching blindly for the casette tapes on the shelf. His fingers automatically find the one closest to him, and he can hear the flutter of the flims inside the small device; loose from all the times he's played the recording.
Groping around beside him, he inserts the casette into the casette player, hearing the slight click as the device turns on.
Soon, the husky voice of the reader fills his small room and Luhan closes his eyes blissfully. The voice washes across him and he can feel the goosebumps crawling up his arm.
"After that I felt a certain shame for Gatsby — one gentleman to whom I telephoned implied that he had got what he deserved. However, that was my fault, for he was one of those who used to sneer most bitterly at Gatsby on the courage of Gatsby’s liquor, and I should have known better than to call him."
