“Hyukkieeeee!!”

 Donghae appeared at the kitchen still in his PJ’s and cuddling a monkey toy. He rubbed his sleepy eyes and barely suppressed a long tired yawn as his boyfriend chuckled at the stove.

 Ditching the sizzling bacon in favour of ruffling his boyfriend’s messy bedhead, Hyukjae walked over and placed a kiss on Donghae’s nose. “Morning, baby.” The younger whined for a proper morning kiss but he blatantly refused. “Have you even brushed your teeth yet, sleepyhead?” he asked with a teasing smile.

 “Mmh Hyukkieeeee…” Donghae gave his best pouty look that always had Hyukjae keeling. “I want ice cream for breakfast.”

 “Ice cream for breakfast?” Hyukjae echoed, in shock. “Darling, that’s going to give you a stomach ache. You shouldn’t do that.”

 “But I want ice cream for breakfast!!” Donghae was insistent. “I feel like a sundae right now. Please, Hyukkie??” 

 Hyukjae gave him his best stern look but failed as soon as Donghae pulled his aegyo card out. “Hae darling, I really don’t think—”

 “I have THIS!!”

 Donghae the love coupon in his boyfriend’s surprised face with a triumphant smile. “Hah, you can’t say ‘no’ now, Hyukkie!! I want sundaes for breakfast today!!”

 “Darn, I should have specified it was only for dessert,” Hyukjae muttered under his breath, resolve faltering. “Okay fine, so go wash up now before I change my mind. Your morning breath stinks,” he teased, covering up his nose.
