Chapter 1: First Meeting

It could’ve been just another summer,

But as I set foot on the sand,

That summer suddenly felt different.

Like it was going to be the summer that would change my life,

The summer of freedom.

The summer of endless possibilities.

Tiffany's POV

I was in the beach, listening while dancing to the music played on my ipod, If someone might see me, they might think I’m crazy, but believe me, if you are in my position, you might do it too because of the fells you get when you had your vacation after so many long days in school studying stuff. I was dancing dorkily while waving my scarf in the air like it was a flag and running it through my neck. I was waving my body and shaking my hips while humming the beat of the song. But then I stopped when I saw someone looking at me and smiling.

That was the summer of you and me.

“You’re quite a dancer, why did you stop?” He asked while walking to me. “Keep dancing...” Then he stopped walking then mimic the dance I did a while ago.

“Whatever!” I put the scarf on my neck and grumpily walk to the tree where I put my stuff.

“I’m kidding. Don’t get mad.”

But I didn’t look at him nor bother to listen to him and just grab my things, put my hat on and ready to leave that spot. But when I step and look back I saw him in front of me smiling again.

‘Damn that smile!’ I thought ‘it really kills me!’

Then he puckered his lips on me.

“Huh?” I was shocked with his gestures, ‘I don’t even know him and now he’s puckering his lips as if he’s wanting to kiss me now!’

But he didn’t reply and walked near me, I step back but then I felt that my back already touches the trunk of the tree.

“What…” he’s getting near my face. “are…” he’s already bending his head to my level. “you…” when he is already inches away on my face, I didn’t finish my question but I pushed him with all of my energy left.

“I’m just going to get my towel.”

“W-What?”

“You thought I was going to kiss you?” then he grab his towel and wiped his face.

“No! Excuse me!” I feel annoyed, yeah I admit he’s handsome but what a jerk. So I walked pass him without looking.

“I want to kiss you, but maybe not now.” I was shocked and puzzled

“What do you mean by not yet?”

“Only when you’re my girl.” Then he winked at me.

“What? Your girl?!”

“Yes, when you’re already my girlfriend, miss.”

“As if!” ‘What a totally annoying jerk!’ “You wish! And don’t call me miss! Don’t pretend to be a gentleman when you’re clearly not.”

“So what should I call you? Rude? Snob? ?”

“And you? Douche?”

“Handsome.”

“Wow! Conceited!”

“Just like you.”

“Huh?! Jerk!”

“Exactly your type!” and he winked again and gave me his killer smile.

“Hmp! Whatever! Leave me alone, stranger!”

“Stephanie!” one of my friends called me.

I approached them fast and noted to thank my friends for arriving.

“Aha! Stephanie!” said the man with a yellow shirt and a towel on his hand. ‘Oh and maybe I’ll just kill my friends for calling me.’ “I’ll just call you Pani. Remove the ‘S’ and the ‘F’. By the way, I’m Taeyeon. Will you still be here tomorrow?” I stoped walking and looked back. “Don’t leave yet. Because I’m going to court you.” I make face at him and grabbed my friends who is giggling because of his cheesiness and walked away.

So how was the first chapter?
