Dong Woon's POV

All I could hear was cries.

Cries of someone begging someone.

I walked towards the direction of the commotion.

Though barely able to see anything in the bare darkness.

My human eyes were useless in the dark.

I had to rely on my other senses.

I managed to reach where the commotion was coming from.

I peered over from behind a pillar.

My two managers were there.

Ji Yong was looking at Joon Kun with teary eyes.

It was something I did not expect thus I was utterly shocked.

I peered on more to hear clearly what they were saying.

"No Way! I am not going to help you with that!" Ji Yong retorted.

"Yes you will. You know the rules, just pass him that ring," Joon Kun mentioned.

"But.. but.."

I wanted to hear more of their conversation but it was interrupted halway.

By me.

I accidentally stepped on a dry leaf which made a crunching sound,

while I was leaning more to hear better.

I made a mental note to scold myself but I realised something immediately.

They saw me.

I woke up in fright, covered in sweat.

Just then, I felt something heating up in my palm

I opened and saw an Amethyst ring.
