Diversity

 

This is probably going to be one of the saddest topics i will ever write about. Diversity, so what about it?

 

[I'm going to be really careful with this topic because I do not know the race percentage that actually Role-plays.]

 

I understand that maybe the way you started off was in a Asian biased role-play and yeah, maybe you're uncomfortable(?) with International,Western models or celebrities. I get that, so I'm not going to say "Oh, We should see more international stars in roleplays," No not all.

 

What I am concerned about is an Asian roleplay that isn't whole-heartily accepting of other Asians OTHER THAN Korean.

 

did online role-playing start with Korean fan bases? I'm not sure, But I do know in fact that in most rps there are un-intentional racism. It's kinda like there is an obsession with Korean Idols.

 

I've been in maybe two Roleplays in my whole 3-4 years of roleplaying that had a good EQUAL amount of Japanese,Korean,Chinese and even Philippine idols and my god it was beautiful. I learned about sooo many different Idols/Dramas, People were WILLING to find out about that idol. Of course, this was in my earlier years of RPing. Now you hardly see that- where did all the Japanese Role-players go? All i see is [no offense] Korean, Korean , Korean. The popular ones.. 0 diversity. I've been in like a little state of just being flat out tired of Kpop because of this, nothing was new. now i hardly listen.
