Scene: You're playing video games in your room. Suddenly you get a gamers request to play this zombie game, you weren't really into zombie games but figured you'd give it a try. There's teams of two and sadly your friend didn't request you as his partner. 

I can't believe him! I have no idea what I'm doing! I turned my mic on. 

"Dude what the hell? I don't know how to play this game. Who's my partner?" 

"Sorry, I didn't pick you because you don't have any experience in the game and I wanna win." 

"Some friend you are..." I giggled. "It's cool, I'm a fast learner. We'll see who ends up winning."

"Haha. Yeah sure. Did you see who your partner is yet? With a name like that you're gonna lose." He teased.

"I haven't checked yet. I'll check right now, see ya in the game."

"Alright. Later and good luck." 

I turned off my mic and logged into the game. "Baby_reindeer"? What kind of a gamer name is that?! It doesn't seem like she has a mic, I guess I'll message her and see if she knows how to play.

B_R: Hi ^^

U: Have you ever played this?

B_R: No, I don't like Zombie games but I figured I'd try it. Wbu?

U: Same here. It doesn't look bad though. Any strategies you'd like to share before we begin?

B_R: Hmm, Well this is a zombie game and usually in zombie games if you shoot the head they die fast and it's effective. 

U: That's true. So we'll go for the head. You watch the back and I'll watch the front. That way we'll be prepared. The left side is mine as well and yours the right. Sound good? 

B_R: Good plan :D 

U: Thanks :P So you ready? 

B_R: Ready as I'll ever be (: 

U: Here we go ^_^

We began to play and so far our strategy was working! We had a total of 300 kills in the first round.

Oh damn it all! She logged out! I looked at the screen and it automatically forfeited me. Ugh! 

"Looks like your partner ditched you." 

"Oh shut up Anthony. She probably just lost signal or something." 

"Sure she did. Well looks like I'm winning now. You still up for one on one?" 

"I'm actually hungry. I'll be back on later though. Around 7 tonight." 

". I'm not gonna be home though" 

"Hmm, tomorrow?" 

"School." 

"Aish. Then just text me when you're up for it and we'll play." 

"Alright. Talk to you later. Take care. Oh hey! Before you go, you wanna join me and the guys for lunch tomorrow? We get outta school early and we were gonna grab something to eat then go study at my house."

I turned off my mic and shut the Xbox down. Man we were winning too but I guess maybe she got bored or something...I shrugged. Oh well. Time to get something to eat.

After eating I decided to play Fifa World Cup. It was my ultimate favorite game along with the NFL games. I got online and I had a friend request. Baby_Reindeer? Hmm I guess I'll accept. After I accepted her I checked my mail.

B_R: Hey! Sorry about earlier! The electricity went out for a few minutes and when I logged back on it was too late. Did you die?

U: No. It was automatic forfeit lol

B_R: Basketball Soccer Football Baseball...Sport games. Some combat games. Dancing games are alright. Mostly sports though. Wbu?

U: Me too! I have ALL the FIFA & NFL games. I got a couple NBA games but Soccer and Football are definitely my favorite games. I always pick Ronaldo when I play, he's my idol. 

B_R: The Portuguese soccer player?

U: Yes! :D 

B_R: He's my favorite soccer player too!! >__<

We kept messaging back and forth for quite sometime. Before I knew it it was 12:30 a.m.

Friday's here! Finally! Baby_Reindeer will finally get here microphone! Woo-hoo! We've been talking almost everyday and playing FIFA. She's really good. She beat me like 10 times! But she didn't stand a chance at NFL. I dominated in that game. I couldn't wait to actually hear her voice! I jogged home out of excitement! I went straight to my room, nobody is ever around anyway. I logged in and had my mic ready.

U: Yup. I was about to play battle field 3. What's up? 

B_R: I got my mic :3 

U: Really?! Did you test it yet?

B_R: yeah, it works great! . Lets play. Vs? 

U: Hell yeah! Lets do this! You wanna play capture the flag?

B_R: Yeah. I'm turning my mic on as soon as we start.

U: Kay.

I quickly set up the game and invited her, she accepted and the game started. Should I talk first? I waited a little bit. 

"Hello?"

Wait...isn't that a guys voice? 

"Yeah?" 

It was quiet. We both stopped moving in the game. 

"You're a girl?!" 

"You're a guy?!" 

"Of course I'm a girl!" 

"Well I'm obviously a guy!" 

"But your username!" 

"MY username? YOUR username!" 

"Yours is Baby_Reindeer!"

"So?! Yours is a girl username!" 

"Why didn't you tell me you were a girl?"

"Why didn't YOU tell me you were a boy?"

"Umm thanks...So you wanna keep playing?" 

"Sure. I just stole your flag. Kekeke."

"I just did Baby reindeer." I giggled. 

"Don't make fun of my username" 

"I'm not. It's actually cute. Bam! You're dead a! I got your flag now~" 

"Hahaha. You're funny. I've never met a gamer girl, how long have you played for?" 

"Since I was 9 years old. I grew up with brothers so..." 

"You're the only girl?"

"Mmhmm." 

"I see. Ha! Got you!" 

"Aish. Cheater." 

"Jealous of my amazing- hey! Where'd that grenade come from?!" 

"Ohhh I don't know~" 

"Who's the cheater now?" 

"Not me" 

We kept playing and we ended up in a tie. 

"So close!" 

"As if I was gonna win." He said. 

"Yeah yeah whatever" I said. 

"You gonna buy the new FIFA game tomorrow?" 

"What kind of a question is that? Of course I am. I'm heading to the Video game store tomorrow as early as possible or at least try to find which store is closet to me. Usually the smallest stores are less crowded."

"I go to small stores because of that. Get there ASAP so we can play together." 

"For sure! I'll fight for it if I have to. Hahaha." 

"Alright. Haha. Well then I guess I'll talk to you tomorrow then. Sweet dreams (your name)." 

"Good night Luhan." 

I turned off my mic and smiled. Who would've thought my best girl friend in the gaming world would be a guy? He was fun though regardless. A bit competitive but cool and funny too. I yawned and got ready for bed. Tomorrow was gonna be a long day.

"Sold out?!!!!" 

"Sorry Ms. You should've came earlier. But between us I heard there's a store who still has one." The cashier said. 

"Omg! Where? Where?!" 

He wrote it down on a piece of paper. 

I smiled. "Thanks!" 

I drove as fast as I could to the VG store and ran once I got out of the car. I rushed into the store. I see it!! The last FIFA!! I walked over there quickly. Someone's hand grabbed it the same time I did. Oh great. I looked up, it was a guy. He's really cute but this is MY game! I promised Luhan I'd fight for it! I can't let him down! 

He looked at me. "I grabbed it first." 

"No way. I did." I said. 

"Let go." He pulled it.

I refuse to let go. "No. You let go!" 

"I saw it first!" He pulled again. 

"Well I grabbed it first!" I pulled back. 

"I need it!" He said.

"I need it more" I said.

"What could you possibly want with this game?" He pulled it back to his side.

"Play it. DUH! Now let go!" I pulled with all my strength. 

The back and forth tugging went on for a while. Then somehow we were on the floor rolling around taking it back and forth from each other. A lot of awkward positions too. I couldn't help that though he's taller than me but I always managed to steal it back. Then he tripped and fell on top of me. The game was on the floor and he looked at me. I felt my heart beat speed up. I looked back at him. His eyes...I noticed his left arm reach for the game. Damn. I kicked the game so it could go a bit further. It slid farther then I flipped him over. Haha! Now I'm on top! A smirk appeared on my face. 

A store clerk appeared and saw that we were both trying to reach for the game. By this point we were crawling towards it. The clerk grabbed the game before I could get my hands on it.

"Hey! That's mine!" He said.

"You mean MINE" I said. "Sir, that belongs to me" 

"Did you pay for it already?" 

"N-No." I said.

"Then it's not yours." He said. 

A lady appeared and smiled at the clerk.

"My son will love this game" she said. "Thank you for helping me" 

"It's pretty popular. I'm sure he'll love it." The clerk said.

She bought the game and was on her way. I couldn't believe this! I turned to glare at the idiot who caused all this. 

"As for you two....Security!" The clerk yelled. 

Security escorted us out and we were both banned from the store.

"Nice going!" He said. "I didn't buy my game AND I got banned" 

"If you would've let me buy it this would've never happened." I said and folded my arms across my chest. 

"Whatever. Thanks a lot...." He said then began walking away. 

I returned home disappointed. I bet Luhan got the game. Man! This ! Stupid boy! Argh! I got online, he was already there. I turned my mic on. 

-Mic Convo-

U: Hey...

L: Hey.

U: Did you get the game?

L: Nope. Did you?

U: I was close but no...some guy was fighting with me for it. 

L: Fighting with you? 

U: Yeah for the game. 

L: What a jerk. Are you okay? Are you hurt?

U: No. I'm okay. But I couldn't get the game. (Sigh). What happened with you?

L: Some psychopath girl was fighting with me. She literally pulled my hair just so I could let go of the game.

U: OMG! Really? Freakin psycho! Are you okay? 

L: Yeah, it only hurt for a little bit. She was pretty strong though. 

U: She was probably a dyke. Haha. 

L: Hahahaha. So your attacker was a full on jerk & mine a psycho dyke. 

U: mine was more of a douche bag.

L: *laughs* So what do you wanna do?

U: I don't know. We've played all the games already. 

L: What are you doing Saturday? 

U: Nothing. Why?

L: You wanna go out? Like meet somewhere?

U: Where?

L: You like Bubble tea? 

U: Yeah.

L: Well let's meet at the 'Tea for two' place. They have great Bubble tea.

U: Okay. What time? 

L: 12? 

U: Sounds good. 

L: It's a date. 

U: Uhh...Okay. 

L: I got to go now. I'll talk to you later. But before I go...can I have...your ummm...number?

I've never seen Luhan before...not even in pictures....I'm really nervous. But Saturday is still 4 days away. It'll be okay.

Today's the day I meet Luhan face to face. He's been calling and texting me these past few days a lot. It almost feels like we're together. He's always asking me things like, 'How'd you sleep?' 'Did you eat properly?' 'Are you getting enough rest at night?' 'Did you make sure to take your vitamins?' 'You need to eat fruits and vegetables. Are you eating them?'. It's cute. I wonder if he's cute. I never gave it too much thought until now meeting a guy I met on an online gaming system was pretty new to me. I made sure to look my best. It was nice and simple. Nothing too revealing nor too nun like. Just a pair of jeans, a cute top and some flats. My make up was a more natural look and my hair was curled at the ends. I grabbed my purse and went to our meeting place. 

I stood outside the tea place. Just then I saw the idiot from the game store. He hadn't noticed me yet. I looked at the time...12:00. I looked around then I noticed him looking at me. He rolled his eyes and turned the other way. Just then I got a text. 

L: Where are you? The Dyke's here lol

U: I'm looking for you and you'll never guess who's here....

L: Who?

U: the idiot who fought with me over the game. 

L: Did he see you?

U: Yeah but he ignored the fact I was here. 

L: I'm gonna call you so I don't have to acknowledge that psycho. 

U: Good idea. That way I can avoid this guy too. 

The guy from the store turned around and got on his phone. He began walking my way then my phone rang. 

U: Hello?

L: Where are you? 

U: By the front door. Where are you? 

L: walking towards the....

As I looked around, our eyes met. I felt my mouth drop, no way...

I hung the phone up. HE'S the guy from the store?!! 

"YOU" we said at the same time. 

.___. This is awkward. 

He felt embarrassed. As did I. 

L: ..................

U:............

"Ahem..." I cleared my throat.

"(Your name)?" 

"Luhan?" 

We looked at each other then busted out laughing. 

"We need to stop doing that." He smiled. "First you think I'm a girl then I'm secretly the jerk you met at the game store." 

"Speak for yourself. I'm the boy and the dyke" I smiled. 

He laughed. "Well at least we got everything settled" 

"Mmhmm" I nodded. 

"So, you ready?" He asked.

"Yeah. Let's go." I said. 

From there things went rather smoothly. It felt like we'd known each other forever, same interests,same hobbies,same music tastes. Everything. We joked and laughed. After we ate he took me for a walk in the park, we talked about art,animals,travel,water sports,the concerts we'd been too. It was truly the best date ever. He took me to his 'secret spot', he said he always goes there when he's had a long day.

"It's beautiful. Just look at the water, the view is amazing." 

"You like it?" He asked.

"Mmhmm. It feels so nice up here. It's almost sunset too." I said. 

He stood beside me. His hand touched mine and eventually he just held it. I didn't mind it though, I have to admit....I like Luhan. He's not like other guys. 

"(Your name)...." 

I looked up at him. "Yeah?" 

"What do you think of Rubix cubes?" 

.____. Rubix Cubes? How romantic. e.e

"Umm, Well I think they're pretty neat. I'm pretty good at it, even though some people think its lame and boring I actually think its cool. It takes a person with great skill to complete it. Why?" I asked. 

"Just wondering." He smiled and looked into the distance. 

Weird. Why would he ask me about a Rubix cube anyway? Is that something he enjoys? 

"You know something (your name). You're the opposite of what I look for in a girl. I like girls that are quiet and gentle. You're a full on loud,spontaneous,athletic gamer. You speak your mind and don't really care who hears it. Usually I don't find girls like that attractive at all." He said. 

Ouch. That kinda hurt. 

"But.....You're the exception. This whole time that we've been talking online made me rethink the type of girl I like. What I'm trying to say is....even though this is our first actual date to me it feels like its our 7th or 8th. I feel like I've known you all my life. You and I are so much alike. We love the same things, do the same things...I could go on forever. You're special. Everyday what I looked forward to the most was talking to you. When you couldn't be on for some odd reason it upset me because I just really wanted to hear your voice. I never thought I'd fall for someone I didn't even know personally." He said. 

"I'm relieved that you say that...." I said. 

"Why?" He asked. 

"Because I feel the same way. At first I thought, (your name) you're way in over your head. How can you possibly have feelings for someone you've never even seen? But just being with you here and now makes me feel like I've known you for ages. I literally ran home everyday just to talk to you, it didn't matter to me if I won or lost against you in FIFA just as long as you were there and we were talking." I said as I looked at the sky. "The sun is setting...."

We sat down. The sun began to set, it was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I felt his arm around me and he scooted in closer to me. I leaned against him resting my head on his shoulder. I felt his arm pull me even closer,I felt his lips kiss my head. I smiled and looked up at him.

"I think this is the quietest I've ever been...around you anyway." I said.

He giggled, "Is that a bad thing?" 

"No, It's nice." I smiled. 

"You know they say its good luck to kiss a girl right when the sun and the ocean meet." He said. 

"Oh?" I looked out at the ocean. "When does that happen?" 

"Right now." He said as he turned my face towards him. 

I didn't even have a chance to close my eyes. He just kissed me. The sun was gone already but his lips were still on mine. I closed my eyes and let myself be taken away by his kisses. A girl gamer friend who turned out to be a guy gamer buddy who turned out to be a jerk at the store who turned out to be the boy I fell in love with.
