Heart Attack

Description

Rest when you're weary.

Refresh and renew yourself, your body, your mind, your spirit.

Then get back to work.

A desire to be in charge of our own lives, a need for control, is born in each of us.

It is essential to our mental health, and our success, that we take control.

Foreword

"Are you sure that you want to do this Mr. Wu Yifan?" the lawyer asks me. Honestly, I wasn't too sure myself. The recent events have made me consider and reconsider the outcome of my actions. Yes, I loved my job and being around the other 11 members. The fans were also very supportive and I've had the chance to experience things that other person just don't get the opportunity to. But maybe it was just too much. There was many things that I didn't like about SM, and I knew that it wasn't just me. Everyone else just seemed to stay quiet about it, as if they were too scared to speak up. However, I've experienced things that crossed the line. Not just the contract, but my basic human rights. Being treated like a component or an object to control rather than a celebrity, or in fact, human being. Another problem I had with the company was the inflexible schedules. Sometimes SM would go ahead with schedules without asking for consent or considering our physical conditions. And, profit distribution. The agency only showed me simple calculation sheets instead of detailed profit distribution data, I was never shown the full thing.

"Give me a little more time to re-think it" I tell the lawyer. Still uncertain of my decision.

"Of course, but remember that you have a concert in 2 days. I hope your condition doesn't get any worse, good luck" he says gathering his papers.

"Yes, thank you sir. I will be sure to call if anything changes" I say with a bow, then lead him to the door.

Two Day Later....
[The Concert]

"We'd like to thank you guys for coming out here!" I shout to the roaring crowd. We had just finished singing 'overdose' and I was exhausted. This concert took more energy out of me then I expected. However, I still was able to say a few words. Well, more like forced to by SM, but you get the point. I wanted to get off of that stage. Maybe if I quickly wrap it up, I'll be able to leave quickly.

"It's great to be back home, I honestly never knew if we'd have a concert here. I'd seriously like to thank all of you guys for supporting us. Whether your a new far or if you were with us since we debuted with 'Mama'. I hope you know and understand how grateful we are for having such great fans. I never imagined us getting this far. Saranghae!" I finish off making a heart sign with my hands. It drives the fans crazy, screaming and shouting.

"Love you too oppa!"

"Amazing concert!"

"Exo fighting!"

I smile and wave back to the fans. Then it happened, the chest pain, shortness of breath, and sense of impending doom. I try to hold it in as best as I can, and fail, collapsing to the ground. Everything goes black and I pass out.
