Translate me love

It had been a week since Kyungsoo’s and Yifan’s first date. And every night after that they had gone for dates. Sometimes it was a lunch date, sometimes a walk in a park or a movie date. Either way Kyungsoo had been spending all his free time with Yifan. The dates were always really simple and it didn’t even feel like he was on a date with a millionaire. Except when Yifan picked him up with a limo. And Kyungsoo didn’t dare to say no to Yifan.

And to be honest, he had liked it. Yifan was really nice guy and so sweet. At first Kyungsoo had thought that the Chinese man would have been just a cold businessman with no heart, but he turned out to be one of the most kindhearted man Kyungsoo had ever met. Every time they had a date Yifan would gift Kyungsoo with flowers or chocolates or other sweet little gifts. Kyungsoo was happy when the gifts weren’t that expensive, otherwise it would have made him feel uncomfortable. But still even a week later, Kyungsoo still didn’t feel a thing for Yifan. And it was all because of Jongin.

And it’s not that Jongin was being overly sweet and nice to Kyungsoo. It was actually the other way around. Ever since the first date Jongin started to act really cold and mean towards Kyungsoo. He didn’t smile or greet him when they met in the company nor did he try to actually talk to Kyungsoo. Well he had to, since he was still Yifan’s translator. But whenever he translated something to Kyungsoo, he didn’t even look at the smaller male nor did he try to sound nice.

And of course it was making Kyungsoo feel really bad. He had no idea why Jongin was acting like that. The translator had been so nice on the first night, but after that he had been cold as ice and it seemed like he really hated Kyungsoo and didn’t want to be near the smaller man. Had Kyungsoo done something to upset Jongin? Had he said something insulting? Was there something wrong with his face? Was it wrong to date Yifan? Maybe Jongin thought that Kyungsoo wasn’t good enough for Yifan.

All of these negative thoughts had been going on and by the end of the week Kyungsoo was feeling really down. It was hard to look at Jongin when there was always anger and hate on his face. And the fact that Kyungsoo had to see him every day and interact with him was making it even worse. Sure Kyungsoo could have just ended things with Yifan, but something kept him from doing so. And Kyungsoo had no idea what the reason was.

Maybe he feared that if he did end things with Yifan, the Chinese business man would get mad and stop the cooperation with Joonmyun. That seemed so unlike and Kyungsoo knew Yifan wasn’t like that. But he still feared it. And he didn’t want to hurt his feelings nor pride. Well dating a guy when you didn’t even like him that way kind of hurting him already.

Also, Kyungsoo was weak. He was already feeling down because of Jongin and when Yifan was giving him so much attention and how good it felt to be wanted, Kyungsoo just couldn’t say no to him. And he loved the attention. And it was nice to be dating again. And Yifan was really hot. But Kyungsoo couldn’t bring himself to kiss Yifan again. It felt wrong doing it. Although it didn’t stop Yifan from kissing Kyungsoo whenever their date ended. But these times they were just small pecks on his cheeks and head. Once Yifan did kiss the corner of his mouth, but even that was light as feather.

There was also one more reason why Kyungsoo couldn’t say no to Yifan and his dates. But he refused to admit it. It would just make him look pathetic. Even though Jongin was being mean to Kyungsoo, he still liked the translator. It was really stupid. Jongin didn’t show any interest towards Kyungsoo and yet he was still head over heels for this man. And even though it hurt when Jongin acted the way he did, the only way to be close to Jongin was through Yifan. Kyungsoo was some sort of masochist. And a bad person. He knew it was wrong to date Yifan just so that he could be close to Jongin.

But like said, Kyungsoo was weak. And that was one of the reasons why he was now on a small ice cream date with Yifan (and an un-cooperating Jongin). It was a warm autumn Thursday and Kyungsoo had had a small break and of course Yifan had used this opportunity to have a quick date with the cute Korean man. Oh how much Kyungsoo hated it when Yifan called him small and cute. But it had a nice sound when the words were spoken by Jongin’s deep and oh so y voice.

Kyungsoo was having a bowl of mango ice cream and Yifan had chocolate and vanilla. Yifan was telling something about something, but Kyungsoo hadn’t been listening since he got the ice cream bowl in his hands. Yifan should have already known that when there was any kind of sweets in front of Kyungsoo, he would forget everything else but the food. Jongin hadn’t taken anything and it made Kyungsoo feel a bit bad since the ice cream was really god.

“Jongin, do you want to taste my ice cream?” he asked suddenly and pushed a spoon full of mango ice cream towards Jongin.

The translator seemed to be taken aback from this gesture and without realizing what he did, he grabbed Kyungsoo’s hand and the ice cream from the spoon dropped on Kyungsoo’s shirt. Both Kyungsoo and Jongin were shocked by this and just looked at each other’s. Kyungsoo didn’t even realize that his shirt was now ruined, all he could think of was that Jongin was still holding his arm and looking at him.

Yifan on the other hand seemed furious. He started to yell at Jongin while trying to clean Kyungsoo’s shirt. The smallest man looked at Jongin waiting for him to translate what Yifan was saying. Jongin looked annoyed and just mumbled something back to Yifan, who didn’t seem happy about his answer. Jongin turned to look at Kyungsoo. He looked once again angry.

“Yifan would like to apologize for my behavior today and other days. I haven’t been as nice as I could have been,” Jongin sounded really irritated.

So it wasn’t just in my head. Jongin must really hate me. “Oh, um… That’s fine. Tell him apologize accepted,” Kyungsoo tried to cover his sadness with a fake smile.

“Also Yifan will buy you a new shirt since this one is ruined. He would like to go shopping with you today, but he has meetings all day and won’t probably have time. So he wanted to know if tomorrow is okay with you. Maybe a quick lunch date and shopping trip?”

“Oh that’s fine. He doesn’t have to pay for my shirt when it wasn’t even his fault,” Kyungsoo gave a cold glare to Jongin, who didn’t even apologize on his own.

The translator didn’t seem to care about Kyungsoo’s glare and just mumbled the translation to Yifan. Yifan pouted, but dropped the conversation when he realized it was almost time for his next appointment. He thanked Kyungsoo of this date, gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, ran back to the office and left blushing Kyungsoo and glaring Jongin behind. Kyungsoo still hadn’t got used to Yifan’s kisses and things were even more awkward since Jongin had been standing right next to them. Didn’t Yifan feel embarrassed at all?

“Shall we go?” Jongin’s question surprised Kyungsoo and he dropped the rest of his ice cream on the ground. “Sorry,” Jongin mumbled awkwardly.

“N-no, it’s okay. But yeah, we should go. I have report due tonight and I haven’t even started it,” Kyungsoo had no idea why he was telling such a boring thing to Jongin, but the translator didn’t seem to mind.

“Then we better get going. I know Yifan will need me in half an hour anyway.”

“I’m sorry you had use your free time once again with me,” Kyungsoo mumbled.

“Don’t worry about it. It’s one of my jobs. And you are not that bad person to spend time with,” Jongin smiled at Kyungsoo.

Are you just saying that because your boss said so or are you just trying to be nice? Why can’t you just be honest with me? It’s clear that you hate me. Kyungsoo sighed sadly. He suddenly had the urge to go buy the most fattening ice cream the seven eleven had, eat it with chocolate syrup, watch a sappy romantic movie and cry the whole evening.

Kyungsoo didn’t even realize that they were already inside of the building and waiting for the elevator until Jongin gently pushed him inside. The elevator was pretty crowded and Kyungsoo and Jongin ended up in one corner face to face. Kyungsoo blushed a bit when he realized that Jongin was only few inches away from him. He could almost hear his heartbeat and he just hoped that the taller one couldn’t hear his own since it was beating twice quicker than normally.

On the next floor there got more people inside and someone pushed Kyungsoo a bit. He lost his balance and accidently fell on Jongin. Luckily Jongin was there to catch him and Kyungsoo only ended up kissing the translator’s chest – which by the way was pretty hard and built. Kyungsoo blushed when he felt Jongin’s arm around his waist. He looked up at the taller one who looked at him anxiously.

“Are you okay?” Jongin still hadn’t loosen his grip and was still holding Kyungsoo. The smaller one could only nod in response and hope his red ears wouldn’t give him away. To be honest the way Jongin was looking at him and how close they were was way more exciting than all Yifan’s kisses altogether. “You better stay close to me, it’s pretty crowded here.” Once again Kyungsoo just nodded and turned his red face away.

Luckily people started to get off of the elevator and it became easier to breath. But still Jongin kept his hand on Kyungsoo’s waist, just to make sure that the elder one wouldn’t fall. By the time they reached their floor, they were the only ones in the elevator. When the doors opened, Kyungsoo’s heart was ready to jump out of him and he was red as tomato. Jongin had to push him out of the elevator since he didn’t remember himself how to use his legs.

“Kyungsoo are you okay? Was it too crowded back there? You are kind of red. Do you have claustrophobia?” There was actual worry in Jongin’s voice.

“Y-yeah, I’m fine. It was just a bit crowded, that’s all…” Kyungsoo was able to mumble.

“Okay good. I have to go now. I have about 20 minutes before Yifan needs me and I still need to eat something. I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye!”

Before Kyungsoo could have said anything, Jongin was already gone. Kyungsoo couldn’t take his eyes of the man’s back. He sighed sadly when he realized that that elevator ride was pretty much closest that he was ever going to get with Jongin. Well at least he had that. But he knew he couldn’t keep going out with Yifan when he had that strong feelings for Jongin. He had to break up with Yifan and tell Jongin the truth.

***

“Okay, this is it. I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna tell the truth to Jongin and break up with Yifan. Jongin’s going to turn me down and I’m going to feel really uncomfortable every time I see him and I’m going to end up alone and never know what true love is,” Kyungsoo mumbled happily to himself and got a weird look from Joonmyun’s second assistant. He blushed and run to his own desk.

Kyungsoo had stayed up almost the entire night thinking about the ways to tell to Jongin and how to break up with Yifan without breaking his heart. It had been about 3AM when Kyungsoo finally had come up with the words he wanted to say to Jongin. And he was pretty proud of himself. He was never good with confessions or break ups, but this time he’s pretty sure he nailed it. All he now needed was to see Jongin, tell him and then go tell Yifan.

Kyungsoo was pretty tired since he had only gotten few hours of sleep, so he decided to go get some coffee from the small kitchen. When he got back, he saw Jongin talking to Joonmyun’s second assistant Naeun. They were chatting casually, but Kyungsoo didn’t hear them from his spot. Oh course he felt the jealousy creeping up on him and he wanted nothing more than to go between those two. Isn’t Naeun being a bit too close since they are only co-workers? And that laugh is so fake!

Neither of them hadn’t realized Kyungsoo yet, so he sneaked back to his own desk and stayed low so that they would see him. Of course it was stupid to be hiding from Jongin, but he still wasn’t ready to face the man. Plus now he could eavesdrop on them. It didn’t seem that they were flirting. At least not Jongin. Naeun was telling him about her last week’s bar night and it was really boring. Kyungsoo even heard Jongin yawn once.

“Listen Naeun, I’m kind of in a hurry so you’ll have to tell me this story some other time. Has Kyungsoo already come to work?” Jongin suddenly asked.

Kyungsoo went pale after hearing that. Why did Jongin want to know about that? Was there something he wanted? Oh crap! Kyungsoo wasn’t ready to face him yet. Sure he had the conversation in his mind, but he needed a moment to collect and calm himself down. Of course he could try to have a normal conversation with Jongin, but he was pretty sure he wouldn’t be able to act normally around the tanned man. So Kyungsoo did the only logical solution every (almost) normal person would have done and hid under his desk before Naeun had said anything.

“Yeah, he just came. Wait a second… Kyungsoo? That’s weird… He was here a minute ago. Maybe he went to the bathroom or get some coffee?”

“Well it can’t be helped then. Anyway, tell him that I’m looking for him. I have to go now, bye!”

Kyungsoo waited couple more minutes and when he was sure Jongin would have been gone, he got up from under the desk. Of course he had taken with him all the dust and he looked pretty bad. Naeun raised her eyebrow, but didn’t want to know what her co-worker was doing under his desk so she let him be.

“Jongin is looking for you by the way,” she said before getting back to her job.

Kyungsoo nodded, but decided not to go look for the translator. Kyungsoo spent the first half of the day running away from Jongin and avoiding the translator. The courage and strength he had had this morning had all faded away the moment he had seen the tanned male. Kyungsoo was weak and all of sudden the idea of being rejected by his crush didn’t seem so appealing anymore. He was almost reconsidering dating Yifan and being close to Jongin that way. But he knew he couldn’t be doing it any longer. He had to tell the truth.

And he was already running out of time. It was almost his lunch break and he had agreed to go on lunch date with Yifan and he knew he had to tell Jongin before that. He couldn’t have any more dates with Mr. Wu when he didn’t even have feelings for the Chinese businessman. Kyungsoo saw Jongin going to the copy room and decided that that would a good place to confess. Well it wasn’t that romantic, but he wasn’t expecting anything back, so it was going to be okay.

Now Kyungsoo felt like being a stalker when he followed Jongin like this. Jongin had his back to Kyungsoo and didn’t see the man entering to the room. “J-jongin..?” how could he still b stuttering when talking to Jongin?

Jongin turned to look who it was and didn’t seem too happy about it. “Oh, it’s you. Do you need something? You know I needed you couple of hours ago, but someone kept running away. Thanks a lot,” he muttered a bit angrily.

Kyungsoo blushed. It turned out that all Jongin needed was Kyungsoo to sign one document, but since Kyungsoo had been running away from him, he wasn’t able to send it on time. Once again Kyungsoo had been totally unprofessional around Jongin. “Sorry about that. I’ll take the full responsibility about that.” He bit his lip. “Jongin, could you help me with something?” he asked carefully.

Jongin didn’t turn to look at him. He just kept pressing the copy machine’s buttons furiously. “Sure, what is it?” he tried to keep his voice as calm as possible. Of course he had to keep his cool around Kyungsoo.

“Can you translate a few sentence in Chinese for me? I have something I want to tell to Yifan,” Kyungsoo said. He turned away to pick up some fallen papers and didn’t see Jongin’s terrified face.

Jongin wanted to groan in frustration, but managed to keep himself calm. “Sure Kyungsoo. What are they?” he spit the words out like they were poison and fake smiled when Kyungsoo turned to look at him.

Kyungsoo sighed. It was now or never. “Yifan, I had really good time last day and all the other days we went on a date,” he took a pause to let Jongin translate it. “You are very nice and kind man and I’m thankful of your feelings towards me,” he took a deep breath when Jongin translated. “But unfortunately I don’t feel the same way towards you,” he didn’t see Jongin’s surprised look since he kept his own gaze on the floor. He was already too embarrassed and he wasn’t sure if he would be able to continue. “The truth is, I’ve feelings for another person.”

“Who?” Jongin blurted out.

“Excuse me?” Kyungsoo asked surprised. He wasn’t expecting that from Jongin.

“You have feelings for someone else? Who is it?” Jongin didn’t care if he sounded disrespectful or out of line. He just had to know.

“Why do you want to know?” Kyungsoo frowned. He didn’t like the pushing look Jongin was giving to him.

“Not me. I’m sure Yifan would like to know and I think he has the right to know. So who?” thank god Jongin was good coming up with lies that quickly.

Kyungsoo thought about it a minute and decided that what Jongin had said made sense. “But how will I know if he asks?”

Jongin sighed, but translated it in Chinese and all Kyungsoo heard was jibber jabber. He had no idea what Jongin was saying. But it didn’t even matter to him. He hadn’t even remembered one word Jongin had translated. The point wasn’t to learn Chinese, all he wanted was to tell Jongin the truth. And hope that he wouldn’t embarrass himself.

“Now. Tell me who it is,” Jongin said after stopping speaking in Chinese.

Kyungsoo sighed. “I have feelings for your translator, Kim Jongin,” he couldn’t look at Jongin while saying it nor could he look at him after those words came out of him. Kyungsoo stared at the floor and hoped that Jongin wouldn’t realize his red cheeks. He was already scolding himself for sounding so lame.

“What?” it sounded like Jongin didn’t believe what he had just heard, but Kyungsoo didn’t have the courage to face him.

Kyungsoo bit his lower lip. “I like you Kim Jongin. And I know you hate me so I’m going to stop seeing Yifan so that you don’t have to see me anymore. And you don’t ha-”

Kyungsoo was about to say something else too, but before he even had a change to continue, he was interrupted by Jongin’s lips which were pressing against his own. Kyungsoo’s eyes flew open from pure shock. Not once did he imagine that Jongin’s response would be this. Sure he had dreamed about it, but he had though more of a runaway from Jongin or himself, not him kissing his crush in the copy room.

Jongin was clearly leading the kiss and Kyungsoo just went with the flow. Jongin playfully nibbled Kyungsoo's bottom lip and the smaller one's plump lips with his tongue. Kyungsoo soon understood what the translator wanted and opened his mouth so that Jongin was able to use his tongue. Oh, how good Jongin was. The kiss was long, passionate and it felt amazing, and when Jongin leaned away Kyungsoo wanted to scream from frustration. They were both panting and just looking at each other’s, not able to make words. Kyungsoo wasn’t even sure what he was going to say when he’ll get his ability to speak back. Actually he didn’t want to say anything. He wanted Jongin to be the first one to talk.

“Are you serious? You like me?” Jongin finally managed to ask. Kyungsoo could only nod and just hope that Jongin would feel the same way. Jongin smiled and leaned forwards and placed a small and light peck on Kyungsoo’s lips. “I *peck* like *peck* you *peck* too *peck*” Jongin managed to say between the kisses. Kyungsoo could only giggle in response.

After couple of more kisses Jongin leaned away but left his hands on Kyungsoo’s hips. When did they even got there, Kyungsoo had no idea. “So you really like me? Then why did you agreed to go on a date with Yifan?” Jongin asked staring right into Kyungsoo’s soul.

Kyungsoo blushed. ”I actually thought that you were asking me out. You know, with you. I only learned that I was on a date with Yifan when I saw him on the car that night,” he was still really embarrassed about it.

Jongin looked surprised. “Really? How could you not know? And why didn’t you say anything?”

“Well you never said that I was going out with Yifan. You only asked if I was free and wanted to go on a date.” Kyungsoo pouted so cutely that Jongin had to do everything so he wouldn’t coo at the sigh. I mean that would hurt his manly imagine. “And I couldn’t say anything! I was so embarrassed already since I thought that you liked me. I actually thought about running away from the bathroom window. But in a way I had a change to spend time with you and get to know you better.”

”Well I’m glad that you decided to stay. I really enjoyed that night, even though it wasn’t just the two of us. But if you didn’t have any feelings for Yifan then why did you kiss him? I didn’t like that at all. And what about all the other dates? Why did you agree?” Jongin pouted.

“I don’t know. I was kind of sad when you didn’t show any interest towards me. And Yifan kind of surprised me. I didn’t even realize that he was going to kiss me until his lips were on mine. And I couldn’t just push him away. That wouldn’t be polite. He’s still a very important business partner to Joonmyun-hyung. And after that date I was really sad and Yifan was being really sweet and I just couldn’t say no to him. And what about you? Why did you ask me out on behalf’s Yifan? And you were so mean to me after the first date! I was sure you hated me,” Kyungsoo pouted.

“I didn’t have a choice! He’s my boss. And I hoped you would say no so that I could have asked you on my own. But then you looked so happy when I asked so I thought you really liked him and of course I was sad after that. And I was jealous after I saw you two kissing. And I’m sorry if I was mean to you. It just irritated me when Yifan and you were doing all those things I wanted to do with you and all I could do was just stand there and watch.”

“So wait. You liked me back then? I wasn’t imagining things. So it wasn’t just one-sided?” Kyungsoo asked happily.

Jongin chuckled on the elder one's cuteness. He wrapped his arms around the smaller one’s narrow hips and pulled him a bit closer. “We just kissed couple of minutes and I told you I liked you. So yeah, you could say it wasn’t one-sided,” he smiled.

Kyungsoo smiled back and burrowed his head in Jongin’s chest. “I’m happy,” he mumbled in the taller one’s chest. They stayed like that, holding each other few minutes until Kyungsoo gasped and pushed Jongin away. Jongin looked confused and a bit hurt by that action. “Yifan!” Kyungsoo exclaimed.

Now Jongin really was confused and hurt. Why was Kyungsoo talking about his boss when he was in his arms? “What about him?” he asked indignantly.

“I was supposed to have a lunch date with him today. What time it is?” Kyungsoo quickly glanced at his phone and cursed. “, I’m 10 minutes late. I have to go Jongin! I’ll see you after work, let’s say 5PM?” he was already at the door.

“What? I just confessed to you and you’re still going on a date with my boss?” Jongin asked in disbelief.

Kyungsoo chuckled. He walked back at Jongin and gave the pouting man a quick kiss on his cheek. “No silly. I’m just going to tell him the truth. He has the right to know. So I’ll see you at five?”

Jongin smiled and kissed Kyungsoo fully on the lips. “Yeah, see you then.”

Kyungsoo was left breathless after the kiss and it took him a minute to calm himself down. It would take a while to get used to Jongin and his kisses. Kyungsoo stumbled through the halls towards Joonmyun’s office where he was supposed to meet Yifan. His cheeks were still red as roses and his heart was beating two times faster than normally.

Yifan was waiting him in front of Joonmyun’s office and he looked stunning. He started to smile as soon as he saw Kyungsoo coming towards him. Kyungsoo smiled too, but he felt bad knowing that he would have to tell the bad news for Yifan. He hated these kind of conversations.

Nǐ hǎo, Kyungsoo,” after hearing Yifan Kyungsoo’s face fell. He only now remembered that Yifan didn’t speak or understand Korean. He cursed in his mind. How could have he forgotten that? And how was he able to do it now? He was already bad at breaking up in his mother language, but to do it in Chinese? No, it was not going to work. He didn’t have Jongin here and he didn’t want to ask anyone else to translate his rejection to Yifan.

Yifan touched lightly Kyungsoo’s shoulder and asked something. Kyungsoo bit his lip and tried to remember how to say, well, anything in Chinese. His head was empty and the only things he could come up with were hello and bye-bye. Could Yifan get the hint if he just said zàijiàn and left? Probably not. And he really wanted to tell everything to Yifan.

Kyungsoo took a deep breath. “Yifan. I’m sorry,” he started. He looked at Yifan’s reaction and it seemed like the Chinese man had understood him. “I can’t go out with you anymore,” he bit his lip. Yifan frowned. Kyungsoo wasn’t sure if it was because he didn’t understand him or because he did. But what Yifan said next shocked Kyungsoo.

Wae?” Yifan asked in a heavy Chinese accent.

Kyungsoo blinked in awe. “You speak Korean? That’s great Yifan!” but from the look Yifan was giving him, he was sure the taller man hadn’t understood him. Kyungsoo coughed awkwardly. “I mean… I don’t like you. I like someone else. You understand?” it felt like he was spelling things for a child. And doing really bad work since Yifan didn’t seem to understand a thing.

“How should I explain it to you..? We, me and you,” Kyungsoo pointed first himself and then Yifan. “No love,” he made a heart and then an X with his hands and shook his head. Yifan pouted and there was sadness in his eyes. Kyungsoo felt really bad but he had to do it. “Kim Jongin,” Kyungsoo waited until Yifan nodded. “I love Jongin,” he once again made the hand signs.

It took couple of second for Yifan to understand what Kyungsoo had said. His face fell and there was a chance that he would start cry any minute. Kyungsoo felt really bad. Yifan had done nothing wrong and he had been really sweet to him and yet here Kyungsoo was breaking his heart like it was nothing. Kyungsoo really was a bad person.

Duìbùqǐ, Yifan,” Kyungsoo smiled sadly. Yifan smiled too and hugged Kyungsoo. He muttered something in Chinese and Kyungsoo was sure it was something beautiful. The taller man gave him a kiss on his head and left without saying another word. It broke Kyungsoo’s heart to look at Yifan walking away like that. He could only hope that Yifan would find someone who will love him too because that sweet guy deserved to be love.

The rest of the day felt really long for Kyungsoo. He was already feeling bad for turning Yifan down and didn’t help at all when a flower delivery was send to him – from Yifan. Kyungsoo felt so bad that for a second he thought about giving Yifan another chance. But then he saw Jongin walking past his desk and giving him a warm smile and fighting-whisper and he knew that he couldn’t love Yifan when Jongin was there.

For once Kyungsoo had done all his work in time and was ready to go home. The only problem was that Jongin was nowhere to be seen. Jongin was already 15 minutes late and Kyungsoo was starting to have a bad feeling. Had Jongin changed his mind? Was it all just a prank or something? Had something happened? Was he okay? Kyungsoo was about to call Jongin when he heard someone call his name from afar. He looked up and saw Jongin running towards him waving. Kyungsoo sighed in relief. So maybe Jongin was serious when he had said that he liked him.

“I’m so sorry I’m late. I didn’t think it would take me that long to translate a one letter. Did you wait long?”

“Well 15 minutes, but that’s fine. Although you could have texted me or something. I was starting to feel worried,” Kyungsoo pouted.

Jongin smiled and kissed him on the top of his head. “I’m sorry Soo. So are you hungry? How about Italian?” Kyungsoo smiled and nodded. Jongin took his hand and led him to the elevators. “So how did it go with Yifan? Did you have someone to translate for you? I mean when I saw Yifan he looked really sad and he even hugged me and said that we’ll make a cute couple. I didn’t realize that Yifan had that strong feelings for you. I really feel bad for him.”

“Really? Oh crap, I’m the worst aren’t I? I feel so bad when I turned him down. And no I didn’t have anyone to translate for me. I explained everything to him with words and hand movements. And I think he understood the main points. But I still feel awful. Is there anything I could to do him? He had always been so nice to me.”

Jongin smiled sadly. “I’m feeling awful too, but I don’t think there’s anything we can do right now. Just give him some time and he will feel better. You aren’t the first man to turn him down and this won’t kill him. And no, you are not an awful person Kyungsoo, you did nothing wrong. So please stop thinking about Yifan. Even though I now have you, it’s still not nice to hear you talk about other men when I’m around. You should only think of me,” Jongin gave Kyungsoo a kiss on his left cheek and made Kyungsoo giggle.

“I’m sorry Jongin. And I’ll try my best, but I won’t stop worrying.”

“I know and that’s one of the reasons I like you.”

Kyungsoo hummed in response and prayed that he wouldn’t blush so hard. It was still weird to hear such compliments and confessions from Jongin. They waited for the elevator in silence, but it wasn’t an awkward one. It was peaceful and Kyungsoo liked it. He only opened his mouth when they got inside of the elevator and asked something that he had been thinking for a while now. “Hey Jongin?”

“Hn?”

“What’s love in Chinese?”

Jongin smiled. “Ài, why’d you ask?”

“No reason, just wanted to know,” Kyungsoo said happily and squeezed Jongin’s hand more tightly.

Jongin smiled and gave a kiss on top of his head. “Wǒ ài nǐ, Kyungsoo,” he whispered so that only Kyungsoo could hear it. Kyungsoo smiled. He may not know that much Chinese, but at least he knew what that meant.

EPILOGUE

It was one those few times when, even sleeping Kyungsoo knew exactly where he was and with who he was. He didn’t need to open his eyes to know that his face was on Jongin’s built torso and that the arms around his narrow waist belonged to his boyfriend. And he knew he had been smiling the whole night and his face (and some other body parts of him) was going to be so sore in the morning.

Kyungsoo was already almost woken up, but he didn’t want to open his eyes yet. He wanted to snuggle closer to Jongin and never let go. He could stay in the bed with Jongin for the rest of his life. Actually, that sounds pretty nice. Just me and Jongin, all alone. Kyungsoo smiled and sighed happily. Oh how much he hoped that life could be that simple.

But Kyungsoo wasn’t able to enjoy his peace and quiet for a long when his phone started suddenly to ring. He groaned in frustration and crawled out of the bed to get his phone. He didn’t need to look the caller. He knew very well who was calling him when the sun wasn’t even up yet. “Hello?” Kyungsoo’s voice was hoarse when he answered his phone. He coughed trying to make it sound normal again.

“Kyungsoo where the hell are you?” Joonmyun was screaming on the other side. Kyungsoo looked the time and frowned. It was only 7AM and it was Saturday. Why was Joonmyun so fed up this early?

“In bed. Hyung what’s wrong? Why are you screaming like that? You know you sound like a woman,” Kyungsoo smiled when he felt the hand around his torso pull him closer to the warm body. Jongin’s head was peaking from the blankets and Kyungsoo had never seen anything so cute. Jongin was blinking rapidly trying to get used to the bright light and trying to remember what day it was and who he was.

Kyungsoo gave his boyfriend a quick peck on his nose before giving his attention back to his now almost crying hyung. “…And when I got here, I hear from Minah that the EL&SA documents haven’t been send to the ENT entertainment. Have you an- are you even listening to me Kyungsoo?” Joonmyun suddenly asked.

Kyungsoo stopped yawning and nodded only after realizing that Joonmyun couldn’t even see him. “Of course I am hyung. You have my full attention.” He tried not to giggle when Jongin started to poke his rib with killer pout on his face. Someone was jealous when his lover wasn’t paying attention to him.

“You are a really bad liar, you know that right? You are with Jongin aren’t you?” Even Jongin heard the long sigh. “I guess I won’t be hearing anything from you until Monday.”

“Sorry hyung.” Kyungsoo really felt bad for leaving Joonmyun on his own. But the idea of not being with his boyfriend on Saturday was just a big no no.

“Don’t be. You are allowed to have a life outside from the office. You are so lucky Kyungsoo. I wish I had someone. I’m sorry to bother you on your day off. Have a nice day with Jongin and please tell him not to blow you when you are talking to me. I don’t need to hear anything.”

Kyungsoo blushed and pushed Jongin’s face away from his stomach. “H-he wasn’t there yet.” Kyungsoo face palmed after realizing what he had just said.

He was sure Joonmyun was smirking on the other side of the phone. “If you say so. Bye Kyungsoo!” But Kyungsoo could still hear the sadness in Joonmyun’s voice.

Kyungsoo looked at his phone. He felt really bad for his boss. Now when he thought about it, his friend had been alone for a quite a long time. But he had never seemed to be lonely, not until now. Was it because Kyungsoo was with someone? Had Kyungsoo’s happiness made him see how lonely he really was?

“Jongin you thin- Jongin what are you doing?” Kyungsoo looked at the big lump of blankets in the middle of the bed. Jongin was clearly under the blankets and probably moping over something stupid.

“You pushed me away,” came the answer. Kyungsoo could imagine the big pout on Jongin’s face right now. Yep, definitely something stupid. The older sighed. He moved on top of his lover and tried to find his head which turned out to be harder than he had thought. Jongin was buried really deep this time.  Finally after few tries Kyungsoo found his lover’s pouting face. He wanted to coo at the view. Jongin’s bed hair was even more mixed now and the pout was just too much. He couldn’t control himself and just jumped on Jongin and kissed every possible place he could reach.

“Yah! Kyungsoo! Stop it!” Jongin laughed and tried to push Kyungsoo away.

Now it was Kyungsoo’s time to pout. “You don’t want my kisses?” there were almost tears in his eyes. Of course he was kidding, but Jongin’s shocked face was hilarious and he burst into laugh. Jongin looked confused and didn’t know what else to do than just wrap his arms around Kyungsoo and pull him close to his chest. “You know I was kidding? And I’m sorry I pushed you away, but Joonmyun was on the phone and he knew what you were going to do next! That was so embarrassing! He has already seen you pinning me against his own desk! He doesn’t need to hear us having .”

“Okay I get it. Lower down the PDA when your boss is around. But why are you so concerned now? We have been doing this for couple of months now. Why suddenly you care about what Joonmyun thinks?”

“I just realized that he’s alone. I mean he has been alone ever since he broke up his college boyfriend when he graduated and it has never bothered him before until now. Just now he said he wish he had someone too. I think it’s because I’m with you now, so he is jealous.”

“You mean he’s jealous? Does he have feelings for you? Is there something going on between you two?” Jongin looked horrified and was probably already thinking ways to kill Kim Joonmyun. Yep, Kyungsoo was cursed with an overly jealous boyfriend.

“No! Not like that! I think he’s jealous of us. Of what we have and he doesn’t. I’m sure he wants someone special in his life too.”

“So what you want to set him up with someone?”

“Yeah. He should be nice, sweet, caring and cute. But someone who could take care of him and be there for him. An-” “And dominant one in the bed,” Jongin added and got a smack from Kyungsoo. “He should know about the business field so that he could understand Joonmyun better and they should have a lot of things in common. Oh and someone tall and hot!” Kyungsoo clapped his hands.

Jongin smirked at his boyfriend. “Well I know one person that has pretty much everything you just said. Except he isn’t as hot as me. And you better be agreeing with me,” he flicked Kyungsoo’s nose playfully.

“Of course I’m agreeing with you! If I wasn’t, I would be dating him, not you. Just call him, will you?”

“Anything for you my love,” Jongin gave him a sweet kiss on the lips before he turned to look for his phone. Once he found it he selected the number and pressed the call button. Few seconds later a deep voice answered. “Hey Yifan-hyung! You are not dating anyone right now, right? Great! So listen. There’s this guy I want you to meet…”

Chapter 2: Why jongin is so hot in this fic. I know I can't see him here but I can imagine him smirking to kyungsoo and being cute and jealous boyfriend of kyungsoo. And that indirect krisho in the end though.
