“…This has to be send before 5pm. And remember to cancel the lunch with Ms. Kim, I won’t have time for her today,” Kyungsoo’s boss kept talking without looking at him. All Kyungsoo could do was to nod and write everything down. “Oh, and Kyungsoo,” now he raised his head and looked at his boss. “And my next appointment is..?”

“Meeting with Mr. Wu, sir. It starts in 15 minutes,” Kyungsoo smiled.

His boss nodded. “Good. Okay that’s all. Please check these ones and send them to human resources and leave these to Baekhyun’s desk. And once you are done, try to come as quickly as possible to that meeting.”

“Yes sir,” Kyungsoo bowed and was about to leave when his boss coughed.

“And Kyungsoo, please call me hyung when it’s just the two of us,” he smiled at him.

Kyungsoo smiled back and nodded. “Yes, Joonmyun-hyung. I’ll see you once I’m done with this work.” He bowed once again and left the room.

Kyungsoo stopped by Baekhyun’s desk to drop the documentaries which Joonmyun had given him. Although Joonmyun was only two years older and Kyungsoo’s good friend from college, he still respected him highly. Even though it was his father’s company, Joonmyun had made his way to the top like anyone else with hard work and knowledge. And Kyungsoo had been by his side ever since he graduated from college.

Sure the job as Joonmyun’s first assistant wasn’t that big and luxurious, but Kyungsoo loved his job. Of course he had been offered jobs from another sectors, but he had turned them down. He had gotten too comfortable and didn’t want to leave anymore. Plus Joonmyun had already raised his salary many times so it was even better than some of the other positions he had been offered. Plus Kyungsoo was pretty sure that Joonmyun wouldn’t be able to survive without him even a day.

His job didn’t only consider organizing Joonmyun’s appointments and other secretary things. He also accompanied Joonmyun in business meetings, lunches and even trips he had to make to other countries and cities. And that was the part Kyungsoo loved the most in his job. He was able to see cities he would never have afforded and he was able to learn about other cultures and languages. Kyungsoo liked to learn new languages. The only problem was that he didn’t have time or self-discipline to actually learn a new language.

“Kyungsoo..? Shouldn’t that report be ready by now? And shouldn’t you be at that meeting right now?” Minah from human resources asked from behind Kyungsoo and pulled him back to earth. Kyungsoo blushed after realizing that once again he had been daydreaming during work. He gathered the papers and gave them to Minah with apologizing smile.

“Sorry it took me this long. And what time it is?”

“11.30. You know yo-,” Minah wasn’t able to finish her sentence since Kyungsoo was already running through the company’s halls.

He was running late from the Galaxy Entertainment’s meeting. He had never thought that it would take that long to finish a report. Normally he was pretty quick with these sort of things. He was already 15 minutes late and even though Joonmyun was his friend, he probably wouldn’t forgive Kyungsoo that easily. And besides, Mr. Wu was really important business partner. This meeting was a big deal and had a major impact on the company’s future.

Finally he arrived outside of the conference room. Kyungsoo had to stop for a while to take a deep breath and even his beating heart. He had never been an athletic type of person and now he was on an office work so all kind of exercise had been decreased considerably. He had to even check if his face was now red from all that running but luckily he was safe.

Kyungsoo took a deep breath and knocked the door before opening it. The meeting room wasn’t that big, but there was still about ten businessmen with their assistants or secretaries. And everyone turned to look at Kyungsoo when he entered. Kyungsoo blushed from all that attention. He bowed 90 degrees, mumbled his apology and went quickly to Joonmyun. He gave his boss few papers and quickly moved to the back, but he still stayed close to Joonmyun. Joonmyun coughed awkwardly and continued the meeting.

Kyungsoo tried his best to concentrate on the meeting, but he was still scolding himself from being late. And plus he knew exactly how this meeting was going to go. He and Joonmyun had practiced for the meeting for like two weeks already. They were prepared for anything. Since he was pretty bored, Kyungsoo decided to look at the businessmen.

Most of them were over 30 year old men. Some almost 40. There were only two woman (if you didn’t count the 20 something secretaries with really short dresses and really open necklines – Kyungsoo wanted to puke) and both of them were probably in their thirties. And then there was Joonmyun and Mr. Wu. Joonmyun was only 27, yet he was already running his father’s company – alongside with his father.

And then there was Mr. Wu. Only one year older than Joonmyun and also running his own company with his younger brother Yixing. Known for his good looks, charming personality, amazing economic knowledge and young age Wu Yifan was the number one husband material in the whole Asia. He had known to be single ever since he entered into the business world.

But of course every great man had their own flaws. Wu Yifan had one too. Even though he was a great international businessman, he couldn’t speak any foreign language. Sure he had mastered his mother language Chinese and Cantonese. But English, Japanese, Korean. Nope. Of course it was seen as weird when a businessman couldn’t speak English, but Wu Yifan had his reasons for it. First, he hadn’t have time nor money to learn new languages. His family hadn’t been that rich and it would have cost pretty much to put him in a private school. And now when he had the money he didn’t have the time. He was always going, running from meetings to another. He seriously didn’t have any time to himself. And he also had a light dyslexia. It wasn’t that serious, but it still made learning new words pretty hard for him.

And since it was so easy to have people do things for him now, of course he had hired a translator. And of boy the translator. Kyungsoo even blushed a little when he saw the man sitting next to Mr. Wu. He was probably the most handsome man Kyungsoo had ever seen in his life. Without a doubt. Kyungsoo quickly looked at the translator’s file he had with him. Luckily Joonmyun wanted to know everything from his clients and business partners.

His name was Kim Jongin. He was 24 years old, so only one year younger than Kyungsoo. He was born in Korea, but had lived most of his adult life in Peking studying. He had graduated from Peking University, majoring in business and foreign languages. He had been working for Mr. Wu about a year now. But what the profile didn’t tell was how freaking good looking Kim Jongin is. He was smaller than Mr. Wu (but Mr. Wu was taller and bigger than average Asian man), but still seemed pretty tall. He had built upper body (since Kyungsoo couldn’t see his lower body because he was sitting) and sun tanned skin. His hair was brown and styled backwards. His dark eyes seemed soft and kind. His lips were plump (but not as plump as Kyungsoo’s) and they kept moving when he quietly translated everything to Mr. Wu.

Kyungsoo blushed even harder when he caught himself thinking what other things those plump red lips could do. Now he was even fantasizing of other co-workers. What the hell was wrong with him? He quickly glanced at Kim Jongin again. Oh how happy he would be if Kim Jongin was whispering like that into his ear. Unfortunately Kyungsoo wasn’t close enough to hear his voice. Was his voice deep as bass-baritone or high countertenor? Either way Kyungsoo was sure it would sound really y.

Kyungsoo was so caught up on his dreams that he didn’t even realize how those beautiful lips had stopped moving and how the eyes were turned towards him and were looking at him. It wasn’t until the lips turned into a half smirk, Kyungsoo realized that Kim Jongin was actually looking right at him! He turned into a tomato after he had been caught staring. He tried to look away, but those eyes were just to mesmerizing. He couldn’t look away. Suddenly Kim Jongin winked at Kyungsoo. It took the older one’s breath away, but luckily it also broke the spell and Kyungsoo was able to look away. His face felt like it was on fire.

The meeting went on peacefully. Everything was going according to the plan and Kyungsoo didn’t have anything to do. Once he gave some papers to Joonmyun and fixed a broken video link. But most of the time he just stood at the back and tried to pay attention and not stare at Kim Jongin. But it was pretty hard since he was the only good looking male in the room. Well him and Wu Yifan. Once when Kyungsoo was looking at Jongin his gaze moved to Yifan and to his surprise the man was looking back at him. Once their gaze met Yifan smiled at him. Oh god why everyone from Galaxy Entertainment is so hot?

All of sudden Kyungsoo yawned. It took him couple of minutes to realize what he had just done. He cursed in his mind. Why today he had to be this unprofessional? This was so not him! God he wanted to groan out loud. He looked around if someone had seen him yawning. It seemed like no one was looking at him angrily. But then there was once again Kim Jongin. The tanned male was looking at him and smiling. It almost seemed like he was chuckling at him. Kyungsoo wanted the floor to swallow him.

It took another 20 minutes for the meeting to end. And it was all pure hell to Kyungsoo. He felt how Jongin’s eyes were on him all the time. Everything Kyungsoo did, he felt that Kim Jongin was looking at him. Maybe he was waiting for him to embarrass himself again or something like that. Either way it was such a burden when the guy you already had a crush on kept looking at your every move. Seriously this was not Kyungsoo’s best day. When the meeting finally ends Kyungsoo unconsciously sighs in relief. It was a long meeting for him. People started to leave the room and Joonmyun called for Kyungsoo. He went quickly to his boss, but still kept looking at Kim Jongin who was talking intensely with Mr. Wu. Suddenly Mr. Wu points at Kyungsoo’s sight. Kyungsoo blushed when he realized that Mr. Wu is actually pointing at him. Why was he doing that? Did he see Kyungsoo yawning in the meeting? Will he get him fired? Kyungsoo tried to hide behind Joonmyun. It was pretty stupid, but he didn’t know what else to do.

“Kyungsoo is something wrong?” Joonmyun frowned. His assistant was acting really weird today.

“Nothing. Nothing at all. Should we leave already? You only have 20 minutes for you lunch break,” Kyungsoo said quickly. He needed to get out of here.

“Oh yeah that’s right! Can you organize these files for me? After you are done you can have an hour long lunch break. I really hate to go now. I’ll see you at three o’clock, okay?” Joonmyun said before he left the room almost running.

“No hyung take me with you!” Kyungsoo wailed, but his boss was already gone and here he was alone with Kim Jongin in the conference room, Mr. Wu had gone after Joonmyun. Kyungsoo cursed at his bad luck. He didn’t want to be left alone with his crush. He would certainly do something stupid and embarrass himself. From the corner of his eye he saw how Kim Jongin was still in the room and he was watching him. What the hell is his problem? Why does he keep looking at me?

“Do Kyungsoo?” Kyungsoo heard someone ask behind him. Well of course he knew who it was and let’s just say that he was pleasantly surprised from his deep y voice. And how good it felt to hear him say his name like that.

Kyungsoo turned around and saw Mr. Wu’s extremely hot translator looking at him and oh god he looked even hotter up close. “Yes? And you are Kim Jongin, right? Mr. Wu’s translator,” he was able to say without stuttering. Of course he knew who he was, but at least he had to try to look cool.

“That’s right. You really are good at your job Mr. Do,” Jongin laughed lightly.

Kyungsoo wasn’t sure if Jongin was making fun of him or if he actually meant that. “Well I’ll try my best. Was there something you wanted from me Mr. Kim? Does Mr. Wu want to make another appointment with Joonmyun? I mean Mr. Kim.”

“No. Actually I wanted to ask if you are free tonight.”

Kyungsoo’s eyes widened. Why was Jongin asking about that? Could he be asking him out on a date? No don't be stupid Kyungsoo. I'm sure he has a real reason to ask you that. “Yeah, I’m free after 6PM. Why you ask?” He tried to play it cool, but his already red cheeks gave him away.

“Would you like to go on a date tonight? Let’s say dinner at 7PM? I know this great Italian restaurant in Hongdae,” Jongin asked. There was no hesitation in his voice.

Kyungsoo blushed even harder. Never in his wildest dreams would have he thought that the hot translator would ask him out and do it so directly and naturally. “Yeah. T-that sounds nice. I would like that really much,” he stuttered.

Jongin’s smile widened when he heard Kyungsoo’s answer. “Great! Yifan will be happy to hear that. I’ll give you my number so you can text me your address. We’ll come get you at 7PM. Here,” Jongin gave him his business card. “See you tonight Mr. Do!” He said before running after his boss.

Kyungsoo could only wave back and smile creepily. He wanted to jump happily and scream from joy. Only after Jongin was gone did he realize what he had said. “Wait a second. What did he mean by us? And why would Mr. Wu be happy to hear that I’m going out with Jongin?” He mumbled out loud, but didn’t have time to think about it more since he had a job to do and he was dying to have his lunch break.

***

Kyungsoo was close to have a mental breakdown. He couldn’t remember when was the last time he had felt like this. Like a teenage girl getting ready for her first date. Kyungsoo had already changed his shirt three times, put on some bb-cream (which he never did and if Baekhyun would find out he would not hear the end of it) and styled his hair for about 30 minutes now and he still didn’t look good enough. Kyungsoo had decided to wear freakishly tight black jeans which accentuated his slim and tight legs and didn’t leave anything for imagination. The shirt he ended up with was a plain looking white dress shirt and it wasn’t that fitting, but still enough to show his slim and petite torso. He had rolled up his sleeves and left the first two buttons ed so that apart from his collarbones and thorax could be seen.

Kyungsoo was drinking a glass of white wine to cool himself down. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to drink before the big date, but he knew otherwise he would be way too nervous. Plus one small glass wouldn’t be a problem, right? He was about to take another swig from his drink, when his phone started to ring. It surprised him and he almost spilled his drink. Kyungsoo looked at the caller and wanted to run away when he saw who it was. He should have not been that shocked, Jongin had told him that he would call him once he was here.

It took a few second to actually take the phone on his hand and press the answer button. “H-hello?” Kyungsoo wanted to slap himself. They weren’t even on their date yet and he was already stuttering and blushing. This was going to be a long night.

“Hi Kyungsoo! Are you ready? I’m waiting down here on the sidewalk. Take a jacket with you, it’s pretty chilly.”

“Yeah I’m ready. Just give me a few minutes.” Jongin answered with an okay and hung up.

Kyungsoo took a last look from the mirror and decided that this was going to be enough. He grabbed his wallet, cellphone and keys and took a leather jacket with him. He checked if his apartment was clean enough if he and Jongin would come there after the dinner. Not that Kyungsoo was going to sleep with him on the first date. But we’re talking about Jongin. And Kyungsoo was ready to do pretty much anything for him. “Stop thinking about that kind of stop!” he said to himself and got a weird look from his neighbor.

Kyungsoo blushed and run to the elevator. He took few deep breaths and tried to calm himself down in the elevator. It was just a dinner, no big deal. And who knows, maybe Jongin would turn out to be a huge jackass and the night would be a total fail. They would just have a quick make out session in the car and Kyungsoo would be gone before it would get to third base. And he would never see him again. Except next day at work. And next few weeks. Oh crap he was so screwed.

The elevator had already reached the first floor and Kyungsoo already saw the black car waiting for him. He sighed and prayed that this date would go well before he walked outside. Jongin was waiting for him, leaning against the car and smiling charmingly. The scene took Kyungsoo’s breath away. Jongin was wearing black jeans and black dress shirt like he wanted to become one with the dark evening.

He moved closer to Kyungsoo and didn’t even try to cover how he checked the smaller man out. Kyungsoo tried not to blush, but he could already feel his ears getting warmer. “You look really nice,” Jongin smirked.

“Thanks, so do you,” Kyungsoo mumbled and turned to look away. He was so not ready for this.

“Thanks. Yifan will be happy to see you,” Jongin said and opened the car door for Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo blinked and wanted to ask why, but before he was able to ask Jongin had already shoved him in the car. The big eyed male was surprised to find Mr. Wu sitting in the car with a smug smile on his face. Now Kyungsoo was even more confused. What the hell was Mr. Wu doing here? Mr. Wu said something in Chinese and Kyungsoo could just blink in response.

“He said that he is really happy to see you and that you agreed to go on a date with him,” Jongin said behind Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo turned to look at Jongin in disbelief. “Wait what?”

Jongin frowned. “Your date, Mr. Wu Yifan,” he almost asked since it looked like Kyungsoo didn’t seem to understand what was going on.

Kyungsoo’s brain finally started to work again and he almost knew what was going on. So wait a second! I’m on a date with Mr. Wu? Not Jongin? How did this happen? Didn’t Jongin ask me out? He went quickly through their conversation in his head and realized that Jongin had never asked Kyungsoo to go on a date with him. But he hadn’t said anything about the date being Mr. Wu either.

“Kyungsoo, is everything alright?” Jongin asked.

“Yeah… I just… Never mind. But how am I going to talk to Mr. Wu? I don’t speak Chinese,” Kyungsoo managed to ask. Luckily he was able to cover his disappointment.

“Well that’s why I am here. I’m going to translate everything,” Jongin said like it was the most normal thing to do.

“Ah. Oh. Okay,” Kyungsoo muttered. Well .

Mr. Wu said something to Jongin, but Kyungsoo didn’t even try to listen. He was already thinking ways to end this date like right now. Could he say that he wasn’t feeling that good and they should just call it a night? But then they would probably reschedule. Could he tell the truth? No, that would be embarrassing. What the hell was he going to do?

“Kyungsoo? Yifan asked if everything is okay. You seem a bit stressed. Maybe we should have this date some other day, like at the weekend?” Jongin asked. Kyungsoo bit his lip. That did sound good. But they were already driving and all. And it wouldn’t be that polite to say no now. Mr. Wu was an important businessman. Kyungsoo had to do this.

“No, it’s fine. I’m just really hungry. Didn’t have time to eat lunch today. Could you tell to Mr. Wu that I’m happy and honored to go on a date with him?” Luckily Kyungsoo was good with words and socialization.

Jongin translated everything to Mr. Wu and the Chinese man looked happy. He said something to Jongin, but his eyes were on Kyungsoo. “Yifan says that he should be the honored one since that beautiful man agreed to go on a date with him. And he asks if you could just call him Yifan.”

“Oh,” was all Kyungsoo could say after he blushed.

The ride from Kyungsoo’s home to Hongdae wasn’t that long so luckily for Kyungsoo they arrived pretty quickly. He had no idea what to say to Yifan. All the conversations he had thought for the date were directed to Jongin, not to the Chinese high-class businessman. Kyungsoo also felt like he didn’t belong there when they arrived to the restaurant. It was also high-class and probably really expensive. Yep, Kyungsoo didn’t belong here. When they had gotten their table Kyungsoo excuses himself do the bathroom. He almost ran there.

After getting in he took his phone and called to Baekhyun. “Pick up, pick up, pick up,” he muttered while biting his nails.

“Hello?”

“Baek I need your help!” Kyungsoo almost wailed.

“What is it Soo? Is everything okay? Where are you?”

“I’m in Hongdae in some high-class restaurant on a date!” Baekhyun asked if he was with Jongin and started to ramble about high-class restaurants and how Chanyeol never wanted to go since they were too expensive and what wrong was with McDonald’s food? “Not the point Baek! And no I’m not on a date with Jongin. Okay he is here, but actually I’m on a date with Mr. Wu!”

“WHAT?! How did that happen? Didn’t Jongin ask you out?”

“Well yeah he did, but he was talking about Yifan, not himself. And since Yifan can’t speak Korean and I don’t speak Chinese, he’s here to translate our date.”

“No way!” Baekhyun tried to hold back his laughter, but he was failing miserably. He even yelled for Chanyeol and told him everything. God how much Kyungsoo wanted the ground to swallow him right now. “So what are you going to do? Where are you now?” he asked once he was done laughing, but Kyungsoo was sure this wouldn’t be the last time he would hear about it.

“I’m in the restroom right now. And I’m eyeing the window and thinking how hard it would be to climb up there and run away.”

“You can’t run away! Think how awkward it would be tomorrow at work. And plus Mr. Wu is really important business partner to us. You can’t anger him or insult him. How do you think he would react if his date ditched him? Just go back there and go through this date, flirt a little bit him and maybe have a quicky in his five star hotel room.”

Kyungsoo blushed after hearing that. “Baek! I’m not going to do that!”

“Why not? He’s really hot and – no Yeol, I still think you are the hottest – and like this you could also get back at Jongin. That was really ty from him to ask you out without telling that it was with Mr. Wu. Now go back there and act really y and flirty so that both of those men will fall for you and leave one of them hanging. I will go do Yeol now since he’s whining something about me liking Mr. Wu more than him,” Baekhyun didn’t wait for Kyungsoo’s answer and just ended the call.

Kyungsoo sighed. Baekhyun was right. He should at least have this date since they were already here. And even if everything will go wrong, he’s still going to get a good free meal. And it’s not like Mr. Wu was an unpleasant man to date. He was really handsome, hot and even seemed to be really nice person. The only thing was that Kyungsoo would rather be on a date with his translator. And to be honest, Kyungsoo hadn’t been on a date for a while and it was always nice to be feeling wanted.

“Okay Kyungsoo. You can do this! Fighting!” he told to the mirror and got a weird look from a waiter who happened to be passing by.

When he got back Yifan and Jongin were sitting comfortably on the table, drinking some wine and having a light conversation. They both turned to look at Kyungsoo when he sat at the table. Kyungsoo smiled awkwardly and gave an excuse how there was line at the men’s bathroom - yeah like that was really true. Yifan said something to Jongin who turned to look at Kyungsoo.

“Is everything okay? You look a bit pale,” Kyungsoo tried his best to remember that it was Yifan who was concerned, not Jongin.

“Yeah I’m fine, it’s just a huge number two,” Kyungsoo blurted. He only realized what he had said after Jongin started laughing. Now Kyungsoo really wanted the ground to swallow him. “Don’t say that to Yifan! Please come up with something better,” he said red faced.

It took couple of second for Jongin to stop laughing. Yifan was frowning and kept saying something to Jongin who finally answered him. Kyungsoo had no idea what Jongin said to Yifan. Whatever it was it would be better than his number two. It seemed to be something really good since Yifan took Kyungsoo’s hand in his own and caressed it lightly smiling and saying something in Chinese.

“Wow, thanks,” Kyungsoo whispered to Jongin.

After that the date went on smoothly. Kyungsoo tried his best to be as sophisticated as possible and to keep up with Yifan and his conversations. It was clear that Yifan was in whole another level, but still he was pretty down to earth kind of guy. His childhood was really interesting and the story how he build the Galaxy Entertainment out of nowhere with his brother was unbelievable. But still Kyungsoo could see a young, sweet and carrying man in him. Yifan really was a perfect man and seemed to really like Kyungsoo.

And because of that Kyungsoo felt really bad when he couldn’t return the feelings. He did like to hear Yifan’s stories, but mostly because it was Jongin who was talking. It was ridiculous, but Jongin seemed just perfect for Kyungsoo. Kyungsoo didn’t know a think about Jongin, yet he was sure the tanned male was most amazing person ever. At least his voice was something Kyungsoo would like to hear every day. There was so many things Kyungsoo wanted to ask from Jongin. He wanted to know the man better. But he couldn’t bring himself to ask. Wouldn’t that be weird and disrespectful towards Yifan? He also wanted to tell about himself to Jongin. Sure he had told pretty much everything to Yifan, but he wanted to tell it to Jongin. He wanted Jongin to be the only one to know everything about him.

When Jongin was middle of the telling about Yifan’s latest trip to New York, a phone suddenly started to ring. It surprised Kyungsoo who had been staring at Jongin’s irresistible lips and thinking what else they could do. The phone seemed to belong to Yifan who looked at the caller and mumbled something in Chinese. Yifan said something to Jongin, who turned to look at Kyungsoo.  “Yifan would like to apologize, but the caller is his brother and it might have something to do with the company. He has to take the call. He hopes you don’t mind.”

“Of course not. Take your time.”

Yifan smiled at Kyungsoo, but still seemed a bit hesitating. He grabbed Kyungsoo’s hand and kissed his knuckles before leaving to take the call. Kyungsoo blushed hard and tried to cover his embarrassment. After Yifan was gone Kyungsoo sighed. Of course he had forgotten about Jongin who was sitting opposite of him and was smirking at him. “Having a rough night?”

“It’s pretty hard to be on a date with someone and his translator. I don’t always remember that pretty much everything you say is actually what Yifan says. I’m pretty sure I’m making myself look like an idiot. And I feel like you are left out. I’m sorry you have to endure with me,” Kyungsoo smiled apologetically.

“Oh don’t worry! You are doing surprisingly well. And Yifan pays for me so I have to endure this,” Kyungsoo pouted. “I’m kidding! It’s nice to get to know you better. And it’s not like Yifan forced me to do this. This is fun.” Jongin seemed to be serious.

Kyungsoo smiled, but he still felt bad for the man. “So tell me Jongin. How did you end up in studying in China? I read from the files that you were born and raised here in South Korea.” Yay! I'm able to talk to Jongin!

“I see you have done your research Mr. Do,” Jongin smirked and Kyungsoo wanted to jump on him. “Yes I was born and raised here, but when I was in high school my father’s company decided to send him to China and of course the whole family went with him. So I studied my final year in China and I just ended up in Peking University. And I was working in Yifan’s company before I graduated (although I was only a mail man back then) and after I graduated I was offered a job as Yifan’s assistant and translator. And it has been about a year now.”

“So are you going to stay in China or maybe come back?”

“I don’t know. I like my job and Yifan has become one of my closest friends so it’s hard to say. At least not now.” Kyungsoo tried his best to hide his disappointment. “And what about you Kyungsoo? Why are you still only Mr. Kim’s assistant? Your degree could be used in so many things and you have stayed with Mr. Kim for few years already. And yes I also did my research,” Jongin winked.

“Well it’s not like I wasn’t offered any other jobs, but I like my job. And Joonmyun had already promoted me in every way possible and my salary is already enough. Plus I know that Joonmyun wouldn’t survive even a day without and no one else would be able to deal with Joonmyun,” Kyungsoo laughed.

“I assume you have known Mr. Kim for a while?”

“About six years? I met him when I was a freshman. We’ve been friends ever since.”

Kyungsoo wanted to say so much more and also ask so many questions from Jongin, but Yifan came back and he was forced to continue his date with Yifan and Jongin as a translator. The rest of the date went smoothly and Kyungsoo was even able to ask few questions from Jongin. And after every question he was falling for the tanned male even more. It seemed impossible, but everything Jongin said made Kyungsoo want him even more. The man just seemed perfect for Kyungsoo.

When they were done eating and Yifan had paid everything – even though Kyungsoo tried to resist – they headed outside. Jongin said he would go call the car and left Kyungsoo and Yifan alone for the first time since the date started. And it was pretty awkward. Kyungsoo tried to remember anything from his high school Chinese lessons, but his head was empty. He was starting to feel nervous and his mind started to wander. Maybe Yifan would get bored. Maybe he didn’t like him after all. Maybe he would stop the contract with Joonmyun because of Kyungsoo. On top of that Yifan’s continuous staring wasn’t helping at all.

“Kyungsoo,” Yifan suddenly said with heavy Chinese accent.

Kyungsoo turned to look at Yifan. He didn’t realize that Yifan had moved closer and they were only few inches apart. Yifan cupped his face gently and leaned so close that their noses were touching. Kyungsoo gasped, but didn’t (or couldn’t) do anything to move away. He was surprised by Yifan’s actions and to be honest a bit taken back by his good looks. Yifan seemed to understand that Kyungsoo was fine with this and pressed his lips on Kyungsoo’s lightly.

Of course Kyungsoo should have been expecting this since their noses were already touching, but he still gasped and accidently opened his mouth and Yifan was able to use his tongue. Kyungsoo really didn’t know what to do so he just let Yifan lead the kiss and tried to keep up with him. Maybe it was the wine, maybe it was Jongin and how Kyungsoo felt being rejected, but kissing Yifan felt amazing and Kyungsoo was feeling like he was doing something forbidden. And he liked it.

But when they separated, reality hit him and he realized what he had just done. Kyungsoo blushed and pushed Yifan away. He looked around to see if anyone had seen them and right behind Yifan was standing shocked Jongin a phone in his hand. Kyungsoo felt like he had just cheated Jongin or something. Everything felt so wrong and bad and he just wanted to go home, crawl into his bed and never come out.

Yifan seemed to be happy and he asked something from Jongin who answered stuttering something back, but Kyungsoo wasn’t paying attention to them. He was trying to get his red cheeks to calm down while cursing his low alcohol tolerance. He wasn’t able to get himself back together since the car was already stopping in front of him and Yifan almost pushed him inside. The car ride was silent and Kyungsoo was really hoping that they were taking him home and not to Yifan’s hotel.

“So Kyungsoo did you have fun?” Jongin asked suddenly. Kyungsoo was a bit taken back by his cold done, but didn’t let it bother him.

“Yes. It was really nice date, thank you Yifan,” Kyungsoo fake smiled at Yifan. He had already almost learned to look at Yifan when Jongin was talking. And now it was easier since after the kiss Kyungsoo couldn’t look at Jongin. He was still feeling really embarrassed.

“But you seemed a bit uncomfortable from time to time. Did you not like the restaurant?”

Kyungsoo bit his lower lip. “Well to be honest… The restaurant was a bit too fancy for me. I just didn’t feel like I belonged there. I’m sorry.” It wasn’t the only thing that made Kyungsoo feel uncomfortable, but he couldn’t just say about that kiss since he had also kissed Yifan back. Which he still didn't know why he had done that.

Yifan frowned after Jongin had translated Kyungsoo’s words. Kyungsoo felt bad after saying it. Yifan had asked him on an amazing date and here he was complaining about it like some sort of prude. It took couple of minutes for Yifan to say something again and before he even opened his mouth again they had already arrived outside of Kyungsoo’s apartment. “Yifan would like to apologize. He didn’t realize that it would make you feel uncomfortable. He promises that your next date will be much simpler and cheaper,” Jongin translated without looking at Kyungsoo.

Kyungsoo smiled at Yifan. “Thank you Yifan. And I really had fun tonight. Really,” he wanted to say more, but right after Jongin’s translation Yifan kissed his right cheek quickly and left a blushing Kyungsoo speechless. Kyungsoo was shocked. Sure Yifan had kissed him outside of the restaurant, but then there was no one to see (except Jongin) and now he did it so casually when Jongin was sitting next to them. Kyungsoo wanted to see Jongin’s reaction, but the man was already out of the car and he waiting for Kyungsoo to get out.

Wǎn’ān, Kyungsoo,” Yifan said softly.

Kyungsoo remembered from his high school Chinese lessons that it meant good night. He could only nod in response and try not to stumble when he got out of the car. Jongin was waiting outside and he didn’t look happy for some reason. Kyungsoo wanted to ask if something was wrong, but before he was able to say anything, Jongin was already in the car and the door was closed.

“Rude,” Kyungsoo blew a raspberry. He really didn’t understand what Jongin’s problem was. Kyungsoo mumbled a couple of curses to the translator while getting inside of the building. Only when he was waiting for the elevator he realized what Yifan had said in the car. “Wait, what did he mean when he said our next date?”

Sorry this took me this long! This turned out to be much longer than I expected and a lot of things have been happening (not going to say anything about Luhan and others stuff). The next part should be done in a couple of weeks, hope you liked the first part! :)

Chapter 2: Why jongin is so hot in this fic. I know I can't see him here but I can imagine him smirking to kyungsoo and being cute and jealous boyfriend of kyungsoo. And that indirect krisho in the end though.
