Bom together with Taeyang and Seungri arrived at the hospital. Dara called them and told them to proceed to the second floor at room 218. When they reach the second floor, they saw Dara sitting on the chair on the hallway

"Dara?" Bom called her, Dara look up and as soon as her eyes landed on Bom, she run toward her leaving the doctor and hug her friend

"Ssshhh sweetie what's wrong?" Bom asked her, she try to broke the hug but Dara didn't let her go

"Hey Dee, you're scaring me.. What happened?" Bom asked again

"I, i f-found her.." Dara said in between tears, Taeyang and Seungri look at each other then to Dara

"Where is she? Is Chaerin alright?" Bom asked her friend again and this time she manage to broke the hug and look straight to Dara's eyes

"Tell me.." she added but Dara shook her head and saw the pain and hurt showing on her face

"I'm too late.." she answered

Seunghyun and Hyun-Ae went back to the park hoping to see Dara there, they circle the park but she's nowhere to be found

"I failed Chaerin.." Seunghyun said to his wife while holding her hand

"No you didn't, wherever Chaerin is right now, i think she understands your situation.." Hyun-Ae answered

"She risked her life for me. I was supposed to protect her like what Minho and Daesung did but i.. I'm a failure.."

"It's Chaerin's own decision to came back for you.."

"I saw how she got shot. I wanted to run towards her but i'm wounded, i watched Mr. Sy's wife pull another trigger while the gun is pointing at Chaerin's body. After that she took her necklace, the necklace Dara gave to her.." he explained

"You know how happy she was when she told us stories about her and Dara. She's the youngest among our squad and a very loyal one. Mr. Lin told us that that will be Chaerin's last night one of his squad because he don't want to risk Chaerin's life. He liked Dara for her.." he added

"That's why when i saw what Mrs. Sy's did, i pulled my trigger and shot her straight to the head but someone behind me hit me with something, i collapsed on the floor and almost pass out but then i felt a shapr pain shot thru my head and it all went black but before they shot me, i can still see Chaerin's breathing.." Hyun-Ae hugs her husband from behind

"Remember i told you i'm seeing someone in my dreams. It was an image of a girl and it is Chaerin. She's always talking to me and telling me to find Dara but i can't remember a thing by then.."

"Are you still seeing her?" Hyun-Ae asked him, Seunghyun shook his head

"After i remembered everything, i saw her for the last time and she thank me.." Seunghyun answered

"Maybe Dara found her already.."

"What do you mean?"

"Maybe Chaerin asked for your help so Dara can find her but knowing Dara even for a short time, i know she won't  give up until she finds her and now that you haven't saw Chaerin since you remembered everything might only mean one thing.."

"That she found her and now she's at peace.."

BACK AT THE HOSPITAL

Bom is standing a few feet from the bed, she's looking at the body on top of it. Strange thinsg happened in the past few weeks that passed but still she can't believe that the Chaerin who came back isn't Chaerin at all, it's only her spirit

'Maybe if i told her what i noticed to you everyday, she might be here on time Chae..' Bom whispered while looking to her friend, Seungri and Taeyang looks at her and motion for her to come near but she refused

'I'm sorry sweetie..' she added, she went outside the room only to find Dara standing in front of the door, she then pass by her and went inside. When Seungri and Taeyang saw Dara coming, they both decided to leave them for a while. Dara looks at her, her Chaerin lying down and looking at her. She saw Chaerin moves her hand but she's having a hard time doing it so Dara went by to her side

"Baby.." Dara said, Chaerin can't speak but she recognize the person standing beside her bed

"I'm here baby.. I'm here.." she said

"Can we help you miss?" the nurse asked Dara when she opens the door

"I'm looking for a patient named Lee Chaerin.." Dara answered but before anyone can answer they all heard a beeping sound

"Look!" one of the nurse said, they all look at the bed where their patient is lying down, her brain waves rise up, her fingers moves and slowly she opens her eyes

"She wokes up.." Dr. Khan said in disbelief, Dara on the other who don't know what's happening manage to enter the room and look at the bed then her eyes widen at what she saw

"Chaerin.." she said, Chaerin who battling her eyes and looking around heard the voice and looks at her, she immediately smiles but the doctor wants Dara out of the room for a while

"She's one tough patient.." Dr. Khan said to Dara while they are sitting outside the room

"She's in that stage for five years and we're about to gave up on her and it's really a miracle that she woke up and no brain damage at all.." he added, Dara smiles faintly but knowing that she'ss been asleep for five years, there might be some changes in her

"What could be the possible effect on her body being asleep for that long time?" Dara asked, nervous but she must know the truth

"Well based on what we saw a while ago. She can't speak nor move her feet, we tried to let her sit up but she can't do it. She did come out of the coma but in a vegetative state.." Dr. Khan explains, Dara is shock and tears fall freely on he cheeks

"She'll be needing a lot of therapy in order to bring back the old Chaerin. In this case Ms. Park, you need a lot of patience and understanding. She will return from being an adult to a toddler.."

"F-for how long she will be in that state?" Dara asked in between tears

"We don't know only Ms. Lee can tell. It will depend on how she will cope up on therapy.." Dara nods her head a few times and thinkg about her

"If i came here earlier than i should she'll be--" Dr. Khan cut her off

"You know what she is still lucky and so do you.." Dr. Khan said

"How can you say that?" Dara asked her, Dr. Khan smiles and look away

"We have a lot of patient here who are in comatose stage. Their families are still wiating for them to wake up. I have a 5 year old patient who's been in coma at the age of 4 and it's been a year and he didn't wake up at all.." Dr. Khan explained

"You have your loved on back, be thankful for that. She might be different from the way she used to be but the important thing is that she's alive.." Dr. Khan said, Dara cries while Dr. Khan taps her shoulder then she heard Bom's voice

"I'll be here for you always. I will help you in everything i can, i promise you that.." Dara said to Chaerin, the latter smiles and try to make a sound, she then squeezes Dara's hand

"Thank you for keeping your promise, Chaerin.." Dara added

Chaerin went out of the hospital after two weeks since she woke up. The doctor advices Dara to bring Chaerin everyday for therapy but Dara refuse, she told them that she'll be the one teaching her partner those things she forget to do with the aide of a personal nurse. On their first week and month, Dara massage Chaerin's legs and back, she helo Chaerin stand ups and carry the weight of her own body

"You can do it baby.." Dara said while she's leaning in front of Chaerin assisting her in every move she makes but the latter is afraid to stand up on her own

"I'm right here, i won't let you go.." Dara added, Chaerin slowly nods her head and tried her best to stand up, she place both of her arm on the armrest of the wheelchair to support her body and slowly standing up

"Come on baby, you can do it. A little bit more.." Dara said, she's standing beside her in case she falls down and she did. Chaerin cries and shook her head

"hey, hey my love look at me.." Dara said

"We were just warming up okay, we will do this everyday and you'll see in no time you can walk little by little again.." she said, Chaerin just looks at her, she can't say a word, she can just moan if she felt pain or not satisfied on what she did

"It takes time Chaerin. We don't need to hurry, we have plenty of time.." Dara added

Days, weeks, months passed by and Dara didn't leave Chaerin's side from day one, she fed her, bathe her, change her clothes, teaching her how to walk, write and talk again. Sometimes Chaerin doesn't cooperate and losing hope but her beloved Dara always tells her that she can't do it all alone if Chaerin won't help her. They need to do it together

9 months later

Dara woke up at the sound of waves splashing to the shore, she opens her eyes and look to her side only to find out that Chaerin is not there

"Chae.." Dara called her but there's no answer, the latter stood up from the bed and slid her slippers to find her partner after she went out from her room, she saw Chaerin sitting in one of the chair at the table

"Hey baby.." Dara called her, Chaerin turns her head to the right, she saw Dara smiling and then she waves her hand

"Why are you up so early?" Dara asked her, Chaerin points out the food she prepare for them

"Aww baby, you prepared this for us?" she asked her again, Chaerin nods her head and smiles

"Thank you, you're so sweet.." Dara said, she then push Chaerin's wheelchair and position her beside her chair

"Okay let's eat.." Dara said, she put some hotdogs and eggs on Chaerin's plate then pour some juice on their glases. The couple eat silently while exchanging smiles with each other

"Later i will give you a tracing book, you just need to follow the small lines then we will try to write your name on the paper again.." Dara said to her, Chaerin only nods her head

"Oh wait i'll get some water for us.." Dara added and leave Chaerin for a while, after a few minutes she came back with a pitcher of water and place it on top of the table and was about to sit back down when she saw a piece of paper resting beside her plate, she picks it up and widen her eyes on what she saw

"Chaerin." Dara said, her tears are building up while looking at the paper, she then looks at Chaerin then at the paper again where she read

Sandara Park-Lee, my future wife

"You w-wrote this?" Dara asked her, Chaerin wrote something on the paper again and hand it over to Dara

Yes baby

"Oh Chaerin, i'm so proud of you. So proud of you baby.." she said, she let her tears falls n her cheeks and when she broke the hug, Chaerin wipes her tears and wrote

Please don't cry baby, i don't want to see you cry anymore

Dara is smiling from ear to ear while reading what she read though Chaerin's handwriting is not perfect as it is, the thought of that she's learning little by little touch Dara's heart.

Later that Night

"Aisht you don't need to get worried Dara. Chaerin is with Taeyang and Seungri.." Bom said while they are entering the mansion again

"Well i do trust Taeyang but Seungri. please.." Dara answered, Bom laugh and stop on her tracks when she saw Dara was about to enter the door

"What?" Dara asked her

"I'm not going to sleep here tonight, neither Taeyang and Seungri.." Bom answered

"Huh?" Dara sked again but the door opens

"There you are! She's been waiting for you.." Taeyang said and went out of the house

"What's going on? Where's Chaerin?" Dara asked them

"She's at the back waiting for you, hurry up and your baby is starving.." Seungri is the one who answered her

"Then why you didn't cook her dinner!" Dara protested but the three are already walking away from her

"Because she's the one who cooked for your dinner. Go now Dara and tell her that we already left.." Taeyang said and closes the gate, Dara watch her friends drove off then she enters the house

"Chaerin?" Dara called her while walking thru the back door, when she reach the kitchen she immediately saw a lots of lights on the garden, she went out of the door and look around

"Hey baby! Where are you?" Dara called her again but still no response then she saw table with candle lights on top of it and foods, a lots of food, she starts to walk towards the table when she notice a piece of envelope hanging from the Dara, she held the envelope and saw her name written on it

Dara, read this first

Dara opens the envelope and saw a piece of paper inside, she unfold the paper and starts to read

To my Beloved Dara,
        Surprise!! Hmm i think you forgot that it's our anniversary today, well it's okay baby, i planned a surprise dinner for you. I asked for Taeyang and Seungri's help to cook and of course to write this love letter of mine (I still don't know how to spell some words kekeke)

Dara smiles and tries to hold her tears

I don't know how to start this but i would like to say THANK YOU. Thank you for not giving up on me, for being there ever since i discharge from the hospital, for being my personal nurse and therapist. I saw how hard for you to see me like this that's why i promise myself that i will do everything to get better for you. They told me that i'm a lucky one that i manage to stay alive for being in a comatose for five years but honestly i'm lucky because he gave me someone like you in my life

'Chaerin..' Dara whispered

You accepted me for who i am. You waited for me and hang on to my promise that i will come back for you. From the moment i had to leave you that day in order for you to find me, i always watch you from above, i feel your pain when you thought that i was dead already but i did all my might to make you feel that i am still alive. Thank you is not enough for all the things you did for me. For sacrificing, for risking, believing, trusting and most of all for your love. Thank you Sandara for standing right here beside me. I love you with all my heart my love. Thank you..

Dara wipe her tears from her eyes, this is the first love letter Chaerin made for her and she's so proud of her baby. She manage to wrote a letter for her, she folded the paper again and place it inside the envelope then she felt something standing behind her, she turn around slowly to find Chaerin standing, one of her hand is holding a boquet of flower while the other one is leaning on the wheelchair to support her

"Chaerin, what are you doing?" Dara asked, she was about to walk towards her but Chaerin stops her using her hand, she then saw Chaerin slowly moves her right foot then the left, one at a time

"Oh my god.. Oh my god, Chaerin.." Dara said, Chaerin looks at her, tears building up on her eyes too, she manage to take 7 steps on her own when Dara decided to walk over to her and gave her a hug

"You are so full of suprises baby.." Dara said to her and broke the hug, Chaerin just smiles at her

"You don't need to thank me Chaerin. I love you, you know that. It doesn't matter to me if you can't walk nor talk and write, the important is that you are here with me, alive and kicking.." Dara said, Chaerin laughs and place one of her hand on Dara's face

"I thank the one above for giving us a second chance, for giving you a second chance to live and be here with me. I promise you that we will never be apart again, i'll go where you go baby.." Dara added, Chaerin nods her head then lean slowly towards Dara and planted a soft kiss on her lips. When Dara opens her eyes, she saw Chaerin holding a bond paper with the words

Will you dance with me?

"You don't need to ask that baby. Come on.." Dara answered, she held Chaerin hands and they both take 4 steps, position each other and starts to sway their bodies with the music. They both staring with one another with a sweet smile on their faces

"I Love you so much, Chaerin.." Dara said and lean her head on Chaerin chest, she closes her eyes and feel the warmth of Chaerin body when she heard a voice

"I Love you more, Dara.." Dara quickly opens her eyes and look at Chaerin face

"D-did you just sp--" Dara was cut off by Chaerin when she nods her head, the latter then cup Dara's cheeks and smiles

"I Love you Park Sandara, will you be my wife?" Chaerin asked, Dara who is so happy that time give Chaerin a kiss on her lips and hug her.

"This is not the end but only the begnning.." Chaerin added and they both contnue dancing

Love moves in msyterious ways they say. Dara's love for Chaerin kept her fighting and waiting for her to come back and fulfill her LAST PROMISE. As for Chaerin's love for her beloved Dara, she crosses the boundary between the human world and the spirit world in order to kept her LAST PROMISE until her last breath. Saying i love you to the one you love is important, don't took them for granted and treat them special and in a right way because you might not know when will your time comes and you might know that it's a little too late to do that..
