It’s morning again, another day to live my life without her, without the person I loved the most. I don’t know how I cope up all through these years. Maybe her words, the last words I heard from her, it helps me to live another day, wake up and wait for her but for how long?

“Hey Dee! You’re pacing out again!” Bom, my best friend said to me, I look at her and saw holding two cups of coffee and hand me one

“Thanks..” I answered, she pull a chair and place it beside me

“Thinking about her again?” she asked, I sigh before I nod my head

“For how long are you going to wait for her Dara?”

“I don’t know but no matter how long it takes, Bom..”

“You’re just making your life miserable; I know she said she’ll come back for you but heck Dee! Its been 5 years since you last time you saw her..”

She’s right, I’ve been waiting for my love for nearly 5 years now, I know it sounds insane but I know she’ll be back!

“I know she’ll keep her word, I know she’ll come back for me. I don’t know what happened to her but I somewhat feel that one of this day, she’ll show up..” Bom sigh and shook her head, she loves Dara like her own sister, they grew up together, they are both orphan now, they lost their parents during their childhood

“Don’t said to me that I didn’t remind you but if that’s the way you want then go..”

“Thanks, oh by the way, I already told Mr. Andrei about my leave today,  I need to file a new birth certificate..”

“Oh okay, you want me to accompany you?”

“No it’s okay but thanks anyway..”

“Okay, be careful..” I nod my head and went towards my room, I close the door and look at my bed. I walk towards it and open the drawer on my bedside table, I took the picture I kept for so long, it’s a picture of me and her, I smiled for a while but then tears starts to fall freely

“I’m still waiting for you, please do comeback..” I said, I run my finger on top of the picture

“You don’t know how much I miss you, how much I long to hug and hold you again..” I added, im on the edge of giving up but every time I remember her smile and her voice saying to wait for her, somehow I find a courage to get up and wait for her for another day

I hug the picture as I cry quietly hoping and praying to see her again

Dara got busy filing and getting her new birth certificate, after that she decided to go to the park, she knows Bom won’t be home this early, when she arrive at the park, she look around, a lot of couples sitting on the grass while watching the sunset, children riding their bike while their parents is watching them, Dara on the other hand took a sit on the bench near the river, she looks at it and close her eyes

‘I never felt so relax and calm these past few days..’ she whispered to herself, she decided to let the time pass by for a while. Around 5:30 pm she decided to go home, on her way to their house, she receive a text message from Bom

Hey sis! I can’t make to dinner tonight, I’ve got a lot of things to do. I’ll see you tomorrow okay, don’t wait for me.. Goodnight!

Dara smiled a little and put back her phone in her pocket

“I guess it’s just me, myself and I for dinner..” she said. On the way home, she brought some Chinese take outs and eat silently while watching some news on the television then all of a sudden she heard a loud knock on the door, she look at the wall clock

7 pm

‘Who could this be? I’m not expecting someone or Bom to be home this early’ she whispered to herself but she heard another loud knock on the door, she stood up and walk slowly, she stop a few feet from the door

“Who is it?” she asked but whoever is outside didn’t answer but bang on the door again

“I won’t open the door until you tell me who you are..” Dara shouted then she heard a voice, a voice that so familiar to her

“It’s me baby..” she said, Dara widen her eyes and immediately open the door and there she saw her, the girl that she’s been waiting for nearly 5 years

“Chaerin? Is it really you?” she asked
