The Café

Jaejoong who came first ordered coffee and waited for Sooyoung. He kept fidgeting and looking at his watch when suddenly someone smacked the back of his head 

"Ow... What the?" Jaejoong said 

"Yah, what do you want? You know I'm busy right?" Sooyoung said 

"I need a favor, sit" Jaejoong said 

"What is it now." Sooyoung said as she sat opposite Jaejoong

"I need you to be my spy." Jaejoong leaned towards Sooyoung and whispered 

"You called me to just joked about it. Are you okay, isn't today the day. You're always acting weird on this day." Sooyoung said as she look at her watch and placed her hands on Jaejoong's forehead. 

"Yah I'm fine." Jaejoong pushed away Sooyoung's hand. 

"Then can you explain it in terms a human can understand." Sooyoung joked 

"Hah! Very funny, fine, well...." Jaejoong started 

"Hold up, before that, where's my coffee?" Sooyoung asked 

"How would I know?" Jaejoong said 

"You didn't order for me my drink?" Sooyoung said

"Why would I buy something that I wouldn't drink? I bought myself, what I would drink." Jaejoong said as he pointed to his coffee

"Wah... You're really amazing Kim Jaejoong-ssi" Sooyoung sarcastically said as she clapped her hands

"Thanks, I've often heard that." Jaejoong said proudly 

"Then I supposed you often heard that you're so selfish." Sooyoung said as she stood up 

"Yah! Where are you going?" Jaejoong suddenly said 

"To get myself a coffee cause my so-called best friend was to selfish to get for me." Sooyoung said as she walked away to get her coffee

Minutes later Sooyoung came back sipping her coffee.

"Alright, what is it? I don't have all day you know." Sooyoung said 

"Then stop complaining about your coffee." Jaejoong said

"Whatever, okay explain please." Sooyoung sighed 

"I already said it, I want you to be my spy." Jaejoong said 

"What spy? Is this something to do with the company." Sooyoung seem to confused 

"Sort of, well not exactly...kind of I guess." Jaejoong thought for a while 

"Hold up, I know what's going. You like Yuri don't you? And you want me to spy for you to know what kind of guy she looks for." Sooyoung said 

"Right! Wait how did you know I was going to ask that?" Jaejoong was surprised 

"I'm your best friend, I know. And also I've done this before, don't you remember. You asked me to do this for a girl, when we were in high school" Sooyoung explained

"Well, will you do it?" Jaejoong asked 

"No way. Remember how it turned out last time" Sooyoung rolled her eyes. 

"Nope, can't remember." Jaejoong said coldly 

"You broke her heart after like dating for 1 week. I can't let you do that to Yuri." Sooyoung said

"But I really like her." Jaejoong said 

"If you really like her, get to know her on your own. You don't need me to do it for you." Sooyoung said as she sipped her coffee. 

"But it's so hard, because she only sees me as her boss, and nothing more." Jaejoong said 

"Then I wouldn't get my hopes up, for her to see you as other than her boss." Sooyoung said 

"Also, I have another competitor, her best friend." Jaejoong said coldly

"And how do you know?" Sooyoung asked 

"Because she told me about it, and he works with me. And their interaction are so much like a couple." Jaejoong said 

"But they're best friends. What is there to worry about." Sooyoung said 

"But they are not like how we are." Jaejoong said 

"Yeah, because your Jaejoong. I don't know how we even ended becoming friends." Sooyoung rolled her eyes

"I have no time to talk about you right now." Jaejoong said as Sooyoung went off-topic. 

"Ok, why do you think Yuri will choose you over her best friend." Sooyoung asked

"Because she used to like him, but was sort of rejected. And now he likes her, because I think I interrupted him about to confess his love for her, and...." Jaejoong explained

"Hold up!" Sooyoung stopped Jaejoong 

"What?" Jaejoong asked

"What do you do at work? Aren't you like working?" Sooyoung joked

"Shut up. So what am I supposed to do? I'm kinda stuck right now." Jaejoong said 

"How serious are you with wanting to be with her?" Sooyoung asked

"I brought her to meet mum, just now." Jaejoong said seriously 

"Wow, you really like her, you never bring anyone to meet Mrs Kim, not even me." Sooyoung said 

"Yeah...." Jaejoong said as he sipped his coffee. 

"Fine. I'll help you." Sooyoung said as she stood up

"Really? Oh my god, you're the best." Jaejoong excitedly stood up and hugged her.

"Yah, enough. I need to get back to work, unlike you." Sooyoung glanced at Jaejoong

"Wait, I have another question." Jaejoong said 

"What now?" Sooyoung asked 

"Do you secretly have a crush on me like how Yuri's best friend does have on her. Because, you know I can't blame you, I'm irresistible " Jaejoong teased 

"Are you serious right now. So many other guys way better than you, even if there's only 2 of us left, we will never be more than best friends" Sooyoung said as she jokingly made a vomit action. 

 "You never know...." Jaejoong smirked

"Disgusting, I have to get back to work." Sooyoung said as she punched Jaejoong arm and walked off

"Choi! Wait up." Jaejoong went after her

They both went into their car, as Jaejoong was about to start the car, he then got a phonecall from Yuri. 

"What is it. Are you informing me about the movie timing." Jaejoong joked

"Would you just forget about it." Yuri said 

"Then what do you want." Jaejoong said coldly 

"It's Mr Kim, the CEO, he wants to have an important meeting with you and your brother, and Mr Lee." Yuri said

"Aish.. Where?" Jaejoong asked

"I'll message you the address." Yuri said 

"Alright. Thanks." Jaejoong said 

Jaejoong received Yuri's message. He was quite hesistant and unsure as to what was going to happen. But he drove to the address given. He then reached the venue, and he saw Mr Lee waiting for him

The Hotel

"Mr Jaejoong." Mr Lee bowed as Jaejoong got out of the car.

"Mr Lee. Where's Yuri-ssi?" Jaejoong asked as he looked for Yuri.

"Oh, she's not here, your father requested just the three of us to be here." Mr Lee said 

Later, another called pull over. The person that got out of the car was none other than Woobin

"Mr Woobin" Mr Lee greeted as Woobin walked towards them

"Mr Lee. Jaejoong." Woobin said 

"Where's the place we're meeting dad. I have work to get back to." Jaejoong avoid looking at Woobin, and said coldly

"Ah. Follow me." Mr Lee said as he directed them to meet Mr Kim

They then walked into a private room, in the restaurant. The three of them bowed and greeted Mr Kim

"Finally you three are here." Mr Kim said 

"Dad." Woobin said as he sat next to Mr Kim. 

Jaejoong who didn't say anything just sat down and used his phone. 

"I see you're busy with work?" Mr Kim said to Jaejoong

"Because, you're taking my time from work. Can we hurry this up, I need to get back to work." Jaejoong said coldly 

"How rude. Finally seeing you doing work and not wasting your time with useless things." Mr Kim said 

"But is his work even good enough?" Woobin sarcastically said 

Jaejoong just rolled his eyes and ignored what Woobin said. 

"So the reason why we're here is that I want to discuss a business project. Mr Lee." Mr Kim said 

Mr Lee then took out the files out of his bag and passed them to Mr Kim, Woobin and Jaejoong.

"So, we want to expand and build a building here, and will close down whatever is here." Mr Kim said 

When Jaejoong looked at the place, he realized that the place they wanted to close down was Mrs Kim flower shop. 

"No. This is mum's place. I won't let you do that." Jaejoong said 

"Jaejoong, the business isn't doing well. Won't mum want us do something and have a better business." Woobin said

"No! You don't know what mum wants. You just want what you want." Jaejoong said sternly

"Jaejoong." Mr Kim said 

"You never cared about her. Do you even know what today is? Why would you even, you left early for work remember. Your own wife's funeral. You chose work over her. You're one amazing husband, Mr Kim." Jaejoong said coldly. 

"Kim Jaejoong!" Mr Kim shouted

"Both of you never cared about her. You know its not always about money and business for her right." Jaejoong said

"We were both busy to provide our family love and support. Unlike you who didn't do anything." Woobin said 

"I did something both of you never did for her. Be there for her, and thanked her for being there for us." Jaejoong said

"It's just a flower shop. We'll set up elsewhere and put her name on it. I'll pay." Woobin say 

"You know how lonely she always was. This flower shop was how she kept herself from being lonely. Money is not always going to fixed anything." Jaejoong said 

"Enough! Kim Jaejoong!" Mr Kim who stopped them

"We're going through with this whether you like it or not." Mr Kim said seriously. 

"One question. Why didn't you leave her? She would be so much happier if she wasn't with you. You made her life miserable, and you were the cause of her death." Jaejoong said as he stood up and left the place. 

"Kim Jaejoong!!" Mr Kim shouted as he watched Jaejoong walked out

"I'll go after him." Mr Lee said as he went to catch up with Jaejoong. 

Jaejoong drove off, feeling angry. He had to blow off steam, so he drove to the park where there wasn't much people there. He then took out his phone, to called someone.
