In this lesson we will cover the 7 "W" Semivowels. These the "W" sound combined with vowels.

W Semivowels

The W Semivowels are a little more complicated that the Y Semivowels. They are created by combining one of the 3 horizontal vowels (ㅗ, ㅜ and ㅡ) with one of the 5 vertical vowels (ㅛ, ㅠ, ㅖ, ㅒ, ㅑ and ㅕ).

Note: In modern Korean the 3 letters ㅚ, ㅙ and ㅞ are pronounced the same. But you will still need them both to spell correctly.

Chapter 3: Thank you for creating this to help people learn Korean :) I already know the very basics and can read Korean characters but I think the main question I hope will be answered is how to distinguish between "s" and "ss", double/stressed characters, etc.
