Chorong smiled as she hums a song while cooking her daughters their favorite breakfast. This is how her peaceful morning starts. A while later, she already served the dishes onto the table. She smiled, satisfied with her work. Breathing in and out, she prepared herself because her peaceful morning is about to end. Her next task for the day: waking up her daughters.

 

She ran up the stairs to the room of her two eldest daughters, Bomi and Eunji. The two were both 15 years old in their third year in middle school. They were the noisiest among her daughters but also the most responsible since they are the eldest. Eunji is Chorong's first adopted child, she was just 5 years old when Chorong adopted her. Chorong adopted Bomi 4 years later after Eunji.

 

"Bbom-ah, Eunji-ah, wake up now. You have school today" Chorong said as she shook their shoulders but Eunji didn't move while Bomi covered herself again with the blanket "five more minutes" she mumbled

 

"YAH! WAKE UP NOW!" Chorong shouted and immediately, the two stumbled out of their beds. 

 

"We're awake!" They both said rushing to every corner to gather their clothes for school

 

"Good"  Chorong said and walked out of the room. She then headed to the middle line's room, but she's just about to reach the knob when the door opened and revealed Naeun and Yookyung already dressed in their uniform. 

 

"Good morning omma!"

 

"Thank God I didn't have to wake you two. It's a good thing I have daughters like you"

 

Naeun and Yookyung are also of the same age, they were both 13 years old and were currently 1st year middle schoolers in the same school as Bomi and Eunji. Chorong adopted them at the same time. The two were always together even before that's why they act like they're twins at times.  They were the quietest in her six daughters and were the prim and proper ones. But even if they are quiet, they don't spoil the fun and always join their sisters having fun, and don't be deceived by their angel like appearance, because they can plan the meanest prank if they want to.

 

 

Leading to the last room, the maknae's room, Chorong peek in and saw her two youngest still sleeping.

 

"Hayoung-ah, Namjoo, wake up now" Chorong said

 

Hayoung sat up but is still closing her eyes while Namjoo continue to sleep. Hayoung then stand up from her bed and went to Namjoo's bed, with her eyes still closed, and lay on top of Namjoo who just moved a little but still get back to sleep

 

"Aish, girls get up already, you'll be late in school"

 

"Ne omma" they answered but still not getting up from the bed

 

"Oh men"

 

Namjoo is a twelve year old in her sixth grade and Hayoung is a ten year old and is in 4th grade. The maknaes were playful but were the victims of their unnies pranks most of the time, but even so, they get even with their unnies by teasing them, especially Namjoo who is also a loud girl. Namjoo is an easy going girl and is super friendly meanwhile Hayoung is the most innocent but is also the most curious, she never stops asking questions until she gets a good answer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chorong and her daughters were finally having their breakfast together.

 

"Lend me the jam please" Namjoo said to Yookyung

 

"Here"

 

"Thanks unni"

 

Bomi is the first to finish eating and proceeded to her room to prepare her things for school. 

 

"Aah!" Naeun suddenly shouted "Namjoo! look at what you've done to my hair, you put jams on it!" 

 

"It's not my fault that you hair is flying all over! And besides I didn't mean it"

 

"Tss, you surely did it on purpose!" Naeun retorted

 

"Girls!" Chorong said as she put down her cup of coffee.

 

"OMMA!" a shout was heard from upstairs "Where is my favorite socks?!!"

 

"Omma! it's Namjoo's fault, look at my hair! Aish now I have to wash it again!" Naeun said and walk out of the kitchen

 

"YAH! WHO GETS MY SOCKS!" Bomi shouted again

 

Hayoung just watched her unnies before drinking her milk, she didn't mind them because it's a normal scene every morning

 

"Hayoung-ah, you should stop drinking milk" Eunji said to the maknae

 

"Why?" 

 

"You're already tall. You're 5 years younger than me but we're almost of the same height. In a year or two you'll be taller than me already" Eunji said

 

"Unni!" Namjoo called

 

"What?" Eunji asked

 

"We measured our heights on our P.E class last friday" she said

 

"And you're trying to tell me that...?"

 

"That I grew a centimeter! I'm growing taller unni!"

 

"Yah! Are you mocking me because I'm small!?"  Eunji shouted. Hayoung was about to drink again but then Eunji grabbed her glass of milk and drink it

 

"Yah! Unni! That's my milk!"

 

"Yah! Stop shouting! You're in front of the food!" Chorong scolded

 

"But Omma! Eunji unni stole my milk!" Hayoung stomped her feet and ran out of the kitchen

 

"You'll see Namjoo I'll still grow!"

 

"YAH! WHERE'S MY SOCKS!" Bomi was once again heard

 

"Eunji will you please calm down? You'll still grow since you're still young!"

 

"Really omma?"

 

"Yes, now can we please have a peaceful breakfast?"

 

"Ah, that's why omma stopped growing already, because she's already old" Namjoo said as if she discovered something great.

 

"THAT'S IT!!! SERIOUSLY WHEN WILL WE EVER HAVE A PEACEFUL MORNING IN THISE HOUSE?! All of you are so noisy and chaotic so early in the morning, I think the only mature in you is Yookyung. Where is Yookyung by the way?" Chorong asked for she didn't notice when Yookyung finished eating, but at the same time a shreiking scream was heard

 

"AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!" 

 

Chorong immediately run to the living room and saw Hayoung jumping around while Yookyung is holding her tummy while laughing at Hayoung

 

"Omma!" Hayoung came to Chorong crying

 

"Why are you crying?" 

 

"Yookyung unni throw a cockroach at me!"

 

"But it's not a real one, it's just a toy" Yookyung reasoned

 

"Yookyung,  you shouldn't do that. Say sorry to you sister!"

 

"I'm sorry" she said

 

"Omma--"

 

"Bbom will you please stop shouting? Your socks were still in the laundry since you just used it yesterday"

 

"Oh, it is?" Bomi said
