Dear MinSeok-ah,
I am so grateful to have lived long enough to just hold you in my arms, to kiss your forehead, to have whispered into your tiny ears that I love you.

You don't know me, and most likely never will. But that's okay, because I had the chance to know you. My handsome Kim MinSeok, my child. I knew I wasn't going to make it the moment I was told I was going to have you. But I was willing to have you, my child. I was willing to die for someone I did not know yet. I would think you'll never understand a mother's love for her child. But I know that was what it was. My love for you, someone that did not know me.

My child, my son, I am proud of you, even though you haven't done much. You'll live a good life filled with great and terrible moments you cannot even imagine yet. You'll turn out all right, I just know it.

Though you might not see me, I'll always be there with you, every step of the way. Either behind you to see you grow, beside you and be a friend, or in front to guide you.

I love you so much, MinSeok-ah, that you cannot even begin to imagine.
