Seunghyun took another long drag of his cigarette, allowing the warmth to swell in his chest a bit before exhaling smokey puffs into the cool night air. With an impatient hand Jiyong snatched the cigarette away and did the same, taking his time, a smirk curling around his lips as the smoke escaped from between his teeth. It was the last cigarette of Seunghyun’s last pack, and both were far too lazy to go the convenience store across the street from their dorm, especially just for a small quick fix at three in the morning. So they made due with sharing. And honestly it wouldn’t be a problem, if only Jiyong wasn’t so damn greedy.

“You took four ing drags already! We agreed on only taking two and then switching.”

“Shutup!” Jiyong mumbled, the stick bit between his teeth, “I took two small ones, so that equals one.”

“What kind of ing logic is that? Just give me the damn thing! Look you already reduced it to half its size!” Seunghyun exclaimed as he reclaimed the stick and his lips before placing it on them.

Honestly, Seunghyun wasn’t as dependent as Jiyong. He could easily quit if he wanted to, and he probably should, seeing as how it seemed to make his already low voice impossibly deeper. But at nights like these, when they were in nothing but their pajamas (Seunghyun with two T-shirts over a wifebeater and long sweats, and Jiyong in nothing but his pair of Louis Vuitton boxers), outside on the balcony of their dorm in the chilly night air because Youngbae and Daesung always complained of the smoke giving them headaches, just the two of them, just the delicious smoke, and just Jiyong’s boney cold fingers brushing against his as he forever tried to snatch the stick away for himself… at times like these, Seunghyun couldn’t even conceive quitting.

He could hear Jiyong chuckle next to him. He cocked an eyebrow, and blew a smoke ring at the half man. “Yah, what’s so funny?”

Jiyong mumbled, his hands over his mouth in an attempt to warm them, “I-in…indirect kiss,” he breathed with a laugh. Seunghyun’s jaw dropped at the completely ridiculous statement, he let out a heartly laugh and turned his head away to hide whatever blush may grace his face.

“You know what? Here just take it…” Seunghyun caved as he handed Jiyong the remainder of the cigarette, “just have the rest.”

Jiyong’s eyes lit up like a kid’s given candy. “You sure hyung?”

Seunghyun bit the inside of his cheek to keep from smiling so hard, “Yeah I’m sure. I’m good.”
