II.

Basement

[Bom's POV]

I.

Jaunty and complacent, I stroll under Selene's blessing

Tender in the care of Hebe, I come undressing

Unregimented I become, behold the world upon Atlas

I dare travel the night, intuition my compass

II.

The crepuscule enshrouded me, settling in calmly

The lunar illumination brought out my intrepidation

The steps became skips as I hurried for my abode

The precipitation came falling, sodden I went a running

III.

As if to be jeering, a raven came perching

Ominous the black bird of death impending

Happy thoughts a thinking, none of them came jiving

The fear I felt was real, real beyond imagining

IV.

Thunder clapping, lightning smiling

I was a hurrying, I was a running

In my imagined folly, I ne'er saw coming

Tlaloc's bounty came a blinding
