It's almost Christmas, and there is more to being depressed to the story.

First of all, Baekhyun, Chen and D.O all died. Yes, they died. That's why they're seperated from everyone else. They're dressed nicely in a bright place, singing, because they're in Heaven. Those three not interacting had went on a special trip, but ended up dying there. Lu Han was supposed to come, but he wanted to be home for HunHan's anniversary, so he didn't go.

Chanyeol bought couple rings, one he was going to give to him and the other Baekhyun. He was admiring the ring, hoping Baekhyun would love it. He slid one ring onto one of his ring fingers, just to see how it would look; he felt a mixture of excitement and nervousness about how serious he wanted their relationship to be. But soon, he would hear the news.

Kai was playing with his puppy, Kyung. But as he looked at the puppy, he couldn't help but think of Kyungsoo. It was bad enough she was named "Kyung" after him, but Kyungsoo gave the puppy to Kai as an early Christmas present because he just couldn't hold in the excitement, or secrecy, of his gift.

Kai had finally come back to the dorm after hanging out with Taemin, and Kyungsoo was shooing something into the bathroom.
"Hyung..." Kai began. "What are you doing?"
"What?" Kyungsoo lied. He pushed his back against the bathroom door to prevent him from coming in. "I'm not...I'm not doing anything!"
Kai started at Kyungsoo, he knew him well enough to know when he lies.
Kyungsoo gave up. "Fine..." He muttered. He opened the bathroom door, and out walked a small, brown, fluffy puppy. 
An involuntary smile spread across Kai's face. He knelt down and began playing with the puppy.
"You always complained about not having a puppy..." Kyungsoo explained. "So I got you one. But I planned on giving it to you on Christmas!"
"Let's just pretend it's Christmas." They both chuckled. Kai set the puppy on the ground, stood up and hugged Kyungsoo. "Thank you."
Kyungsoo smiled. "What're you gonna name her?"
Kai picked up the puppy and started at her. "Hmm. How about... Kyung." They both smiled.

But since that accident, Kai had been using the puppy's cuteness as a distraction from his grief and loneliness.

Lu Han and Sehun were meeting up for their anniversary, so Lu Han packed up this special box he was giving as a present to Sehun, and Sehun was going to give flowers to Lu Han. Sehun came to the spot they were meeting at on a bike and waited. Lu Han finally finished his special box and was walking there, when suddenly a car emerged from no where and crashed into him. His box flew out of his hands as people standing around saw and called the ambulance, he was immediately rushed to the hospital. Sehun waited and waited. Until he was shown giving the camera a death stare. He did that because it was Kris who showed up. Sehun wondered why it was Kris to show up, rather than Lu Han. 
Kris didn't seem too happy. His eyes were actually watery, which is unusual for EXO's Picasso.
"K-Kris?" Sehun stammered. "What are YOU doing here? Where is Lu Han?"
"Lu Han..." Kris cut himself off right there, seemingly afraid to finish his sentence. His eyes trailed off to the side.
"What about Lu Han? Why is he so late?" Then Sehun finally caught on. "...Has something happened to him?"
Kris sighed with a shallow breath. "...Lu Han is dead."

Its why Kris was practically sobbing while he was painting his picture. He was painting to take his mind off of the sorrow and grief, but it didn't work entirely. He couldn't help but remember the stab of pain he felt when he heard the news about his friend. And that look on Sehun's face...

Suho kept getting these weird notes from Chen about this "solar eclipse", but quickly threw them away because he thought it didn't matter. After the accident, he told the remaining members about it so they could all feel nostalgic about it, because it reminded them of that eclipse from What is Love.

Xiumin decorated his Christmas tree in the Christmas spirit. He blanks out thinking about what it would have been like if the accident never happened... But crashing back to reality was too difficult for him, so he decides to take a walk outside.

Lay finally finished composing a piano piece he had been working on since before the accident. 
What should I call it now? Lay wondered. He had originally written the piece in mind with some sort of new happiness in that last month of the year. But it was hard to think of anything happy with four members dead.
I'll just do that later... He thought. He burned it onto a CD and goes outside to meet Suho to do... Whatever that thing he was talking about.

Tao tries on some oversized suits he stole from Suho. He walks outside, wishing he could turn back time to before they died. So this event wouldn't have to be a sad thing, just nostalgic so they could look at it, reminded of the eclipse shown in their debut days and compare how far they've come.

It shouldn't have to be like this...

The remaining eight members sit outside and watch the eclipse, reminding themselves of the MAMA era, their freshly debut days. Their days with all 12 of them. There is a moment of nostalgia in the atmosphere as the black circle covers the moon. They somehow earn the ability to look at eclipses and not hurt their eyes.

Before Lu Han goes to Heaven, he is allowed to walk on Earth one last time, which is why he's seen lurking around during the eclipse. With his special box he had prepared befoe in hand, he gazes longingly at Sehun, wishing he could hold him one last time... But soon its time for him to join Baekhyun, Kyungsoo and Chen. So he leaves the box, still intact, on a nearby bench.
After the eclipse, Sehun sees it.
"What's this?" He mumbled to himself. "...Nature Republic?" The note on the box read, "To: Sehun ♥" in handwriting he knew exactly who it belonged to.
He opened the box, and there was an envelope that also said "To: Sehun" in that same handwriting. Inside the envelope was a card, he opened that.
"Happy anniversary, Sehun. I love you. Lu Han." He read aloud. A smile grew on his face as warm tears rolled down his cheeks. "I love you too..." He whispered through his smile.

Suho was depressed too, but then he remembered something. He wiped the forming tears in his eyes with the heel of his hand as he said, "Why am I crying?" He wondered out loud. "I'm rich!"
