♬~Goodbye- B.A.P.~♬

Nahyun had her head on her best friend's shoulder as she looked excitedly as a boy in her class was pulling a Jenga wooden block out of the block tower. She bit her lip excitedly as the tower tilted by sighed disappointedly as the boy succeded in getting it out as he putted it on top. Nayung, her best friend had a evil smiled since it was her turn. Yep, Nahyun and Nayung has practically the same name except Nahyun is pronounced (Nah-yun) while Nayung is (N-A-yunG) where the A can be heard. That's how these two became friends although it was funny seeing teachers pronounce their names wrong, but they were opposite personalities. Nahyun is the smart one and protective, along with responsible. Meanwhile Nayung is the complete opposite, she's tomboyish, gets along with guys, brave, and single-minded along with headstrong and mischevious. As Nayung reached over to the table with the Jengle blocks she reached for one and pushed it out with ease. People were surrounding the table since a game was going on and the blocks belonged to Nahyun. Nahyun clenched her teeth as she reached and tried to find a loose block. As she did the tower leaned and fell. The loud crash was heard and Nahyun grinned nervously. Meanwhile Nayung has a mischevious smile on. 

Yep the one who caused the tower to fall had to face a punishment. Somthing she wasn't looking forward to. Nayung tilted her head up and tap her chin thinking and an idea sparkled. "Nahyun," she began to which her friend gulped. 

"Aww, please make it easy." She begged with doggy eyes. 

"Okay," she said tapping her chin. Her eyes sparkled even more, "Hug Jungyun." As soon as the words left Nahyun's eyes boggled out. 

"You're kidding right?" She practically screeched in a hush voice. 

"No," she said evily. 

"Bu-t-t-t." She stuttered, her cheeks tinting red. 

"Come on, its just a hug!" Nayung said whinning. Nahyun sighed and looked at Jungyun. He was okay, in the middle class of the popular group. He was hunched over playing a game on his phone. She sighed and went there but glanced pleadingly back sometimes and hesitated. As she reached his desk, she looked nervously at everywhere. She took a deep breath and he looked up with a bored expression. Nahyun just placed her arms around his neck since he was sitting. She felt her cheeks heated in embarassment. Yep, underneath her he was struggling in confusion but also normal.

"Is it done yet?" Nahyun said annoyed.

"Okay, you're off the hook." Her best friend said. Nahyun quickly apologized to Jungyun, "I'm sorry." He shook his head and waved it off his attention occupied on his phone.

Nayung threw her arm around her embarassed friend. "Chill out Nahyun its just a hug." She said while sticking her tongue out. Nahyun had a darkened expression on her face. "You little," she started to say as she chased her friend across the room. "Get back here!" 

Jessica looked at her two friends chuckling at the scene. 

Today was the last day of school and everyone was looking forward towards summer vacation. Nahyun and her friends are in Year 3 of High School only a few months of summer and they'll be seniors. As Nahyun and her friends made their way towards the lunch table they passed by Daehyun rushing into the cafeteria. Seeing him made Nahyun heart skip a beat as he turned back and faced them. 

"Hey Nayung." He said towards Nayung and Nahyun felt a twinge of sadness in her heart as he barely looked at her but only focused happily at her friend. 

"Hey Daehyun." Nayung said with a smile. Daehyun eyes glittered a little as he opened his bookbag. 

"Look what I got." He said with a small smile and took out a cute Pikachu bear.

"OH MY GOSH!!!" Nayung said shrieking at the cute bear and jumped happily up and down with it. Next to her Daehyun laughed with a big smile. Nahyun tensed at the scene it felt like a boyfriend trying to make the girlfriend happy. At that her heart hurted even more that she felt tears b at the corner at her eyes. It was a silly thing to cry about but being in love with a guy for 5 years can do that to people. Without wanting to look anymore she dragged her eyes away and went quickly to her table where already sitting there was Yura and Hwayoung.  She quickly pasted a smile on her face wishing the tears away. 

"Hey guys." She said to her friends. They smiled at her as Nahyun watched as Nayung made her way towards Daehyun's table. Nayung sat there everyday and it always made Nahyun feel a twinge of jealously of how her friend was so close to her crush. However there was a reason why she sits there. The only reason was that her OWN crush was also sitting there. Sitting in that table was Kim Taehyung or simply V, the guy that Nayung fell heads over heels in love with. Nahyun always had a dislike of Kim Taehyung because of everything he does to her friend without knowing. Kim Taehyung makes Nayung crazy and like a drug he keeps a constant hold on her and it hurts Nahyun seeing her friend liking a guy that always teases her feelings, but she would be lying if she said Taehyung and Nayung didn't look good for each other. 

As Nahyun stared across the room where Daehyun was laughing along with Nayung she felt anger just flaring without knowing. 

"Yah Nahyun! What are you looking at?" Yura asked. Nahyun felt her cheeks heat and looked at her friends quickly but Hwayoung already looked at the direction from before and turned back. 

"Aw she was looking at Daehyun." She teased which made her even more embarassed. 

"I don't even get why you like the guy." Yura said frowning. Truth be told all her friends hate Daehyun since he was a jerk and dickhead sometimes only Nayung seemed to get along with him. 

"And I don't get why you guys hate him." She responded back in defense. 

"Um hello do you want me to spell it out for you?" Hwayoung said rolling her eyes. "He is annoying like crazy."

Jessica couldn't help but nod along. Nahyun sighed no matter how hard she tried to defend him, she couldn't argue against the truth. 

"Do you think he likes Nayung?" She suddenly asked.

"No." Yura said looking at her cards without looking up.

"How are you so sure?" Nahyun pressed on hoping for answers and explantation to reassure herself Daehyun doesn't like her best friend. 

"He doesn't seem to." Yura said simply. 

"But today you should've seen how happy he was when he purposely brought a Pikachu bear for her to see." She said sighing. 

"Calm down, he doesn't like her." And that was all the reassurance Nahyun needed. 

"Bye!! I'll miss you over the summer." Nahyun said to all her friends as she hugged them. 

"Yah, we'll also miss you!" They said as Nahyun walked home happy at her report card grade. 

"Bye Daehyun." She said as she saw him walk by her voice softly. 

He continued walking and her heart dropped at the lack of attention. 

Nahyun opened the door to her bedroom as she plopped down exhausted from summer school. As she opened her browser to Facebook she looked at the messages Nayung lefted her, one of it read. 
Nayung- Hey I have something important to tell u.

Nahyun frowned at the message, was her friend okay?

Nahyun- What is it? Are u okay?? 

She typed back to her friend and closed the laptop as she went to practice for her practice exams. 

The next day Nahyun looked back at her Facebook. 

Nayung- No. I'm not okay. There's something really important I have to tell u. 

Nahyun frowned worry bubbling through her.

Nahyun- Tell me then.

As soon as she typed that, after 5 seconds a response popped up in the message box. 

Nayung- I've got something important to tell you, you're gonna hate me.

Nahyun- Go on then.

Nayung- Ok. So Daehyun sorta confessed to me. 

Nahyun felt the air went out of her and she smiled slightly but the smile was as if it was a conflicted smile. Inside her mind she kept thinking, no it can't be true. 

Nahyun- ... LOL. Thats a great joke Nayung, but seriously you shouldn't joke about things like that.

Nayung- But I'm not joking!

The response burned her to the core. Before she knew it she felt tears b in her eyes. Her heart felt as it have been shot and there was an empty void. It killed her inside making her feel like dying. 

Nayung- He texted me and confessed. I'm sorry Nahyun, I really am. Please don't hate me. 

Nahyun- Can you sent me the text?

Nahyun typed slowly and waited for a response as tears brimmed her eyes. 

Nayung- He wrote: 

(Daehyun): Hey!! Are u awake??!

                     I guess you're not. 

                     So i need to tell u something 

                    I sorta like you and this took me alot courage say.

                    I've been thinking about this last night.

Nahyun read the text and that was the last shot. She could feel the pain blossoming inside of her. 

Nayung- Hello? Nahyun are you there? 

                  Pls don't hate me.

Nahyun took a deep breath but could feel it going up and down as tears silently fell down. 

Nahyun- I got to go. 

Was all she typed as she shutted the laptop. She felt like she was suffocating. She felt like screaming and shouting to let all this raw pain out. 

"Why." Was all she said with the tears raining down her cheeks. Nahyun tried to regain control over herself. She never thought this would happen yet it did. Why am I even crying, Nahyun started thinking. He wasn't even her's in the first place. Yet even as she thought of the unreasonable logic behind her feelings all she could feel was pain. 

Yes, she liked him. He was her first true love. The one that made her feel love. The one that caused her heart to race the fastest. The one who she dreamt about. As she was drowing in her own sorrow she couldn't help but feel anger and hate. Yes she hated him. Yes she hated her friend. Even though she knew it was wrong she couldn't help but feel selfish for once and blame it all on her friend. Yes she hated her for meeting him and him liking her. Yes she hated her for being near him. Yes she hated her for even getting to know him. Yes she hated her for everything thats happening to her right now. Yes she hated ever meeting her and knowing that she didn't mean it. Yes she hated her for making her feel guilty of hating her. Yes she hated that she can't hate her. Yes it is selfish. Yes it is unreasonable. But its love. Love made her turn dirty with ugly feelings that darkened her soul. 

Nahyun at that moment could only feel one thing. Pain. Alone in the darkness. Alone in the world of sorrow. But the thing is that she didn't have anyone to save her from herself.
