A/N: so…three parts left for this. I o apologize if it’s anticlimactic, but in the first place it wasn’t a plot to be explosive XD. An finally we are having a move on because Sungmin’s head gears have finally turned. ^^. Took him a while too.

It was morning of again. It was lunchtime and Sungmin was looking after the kids who were playing on the grounds. It was a seemingly  normal morning, if it wasn’t for Kyuhyun who was once again there for what he said to be ‘official business’, yet all he did was stood there and watch over the kids as well. He would have scolded him to leave, but he knew by now that the taller man would never listen if he told him that anyway, so instead he just ignored him and focused on the children.

He turned to Sandeul who was playing by himself on the sandbox. He frowned a bit, not used to seeing him alone. Then he remembered Baro didn’t come in today because he caught a cold. He must be lonely, he thought, the two were attached at the hip; he could only imagine how Sandeul feels like right now.

He was just about to go and talk to him when he froze at the sight of Kyuhyun beating him to that plan. He stared as Sandeul reached up to play with the businessman, allowing him to climb on his back. Sungmin sighed. “His suit is going to get dirty like that…” he shook his head.

Wait a minute…

Why am I worrying over him?! His suit can go be covered in sand for all I care!

Ugh…this is so weird.

I keep seeing his good sides…

Even though he still pisses me off!

But he used to be a lot worse…

Ugh! Why am I thinking this way about him again!

Stop it Lee Sungmin!

“Seonsaengnim, are you hungry? You’re making a weird face…” Sungmin was jolted out of his thoughts as Sandeul went over to him. He looked around and saw that Kyuhyun went over to the other children. He squatted down so he was eye level with him. “I’m fine, do you want to go back to the classroom now?” he asked kindly. The boy thought it over before nodding happily. “Okay! I was finished talking to Kyu hyung too!”

“Really?” that was a bit surprising. “What did you guys talk about?”

Sandeul smiled widely “I can’t say seonsaengnim! It’s a secret pact between us!” he said secretively. Sungmin chuckled and decided not to ask further, but whatever that was, it seemed to boost the child’s mood so he wasn’t going to think ill of it this time.

How could someone so evil have the ability to warm up to children like that?

Then it was afternoon and the end of another day. Sungmin let out a breath of relief, coming back to the Day care after waving goodbye to the last of their students. “Thank you for the hard work” he smiled at the few teachers who were still there and cleaning up after the day. “Would you guys like some juice and cookies?”

There was a collective ‘yes’ from the others, so there they were, sharing said food not five minutes later. Sungmin smiled softly, until Sulli decided to speak up and ask something that was bothering them for a while now. “Sungmin Oppa, can I ask you something?”

“What is it?”

The girl fiddled with her fingers nervously. “There are rumors that the Day care is going to shut down at the end of the year…is it true?”

“What?” Sungmin’s eyes widened.

“Seems like the rumor is becoming popular with the parents too…” Luna said sadly “I was really surprised when I first heard about it…” they turned to him, obviously hoping for the best answer.

“Of course it’s not true!” he told them, shaking his head. “I’ll make a way for the rumors to stop, okay? We’ll be fine. The principal said so…”

Relief washed over the girls’ faces. “That’s what I thought so too!” “Thank Goodness it’s not true!”

Sungmin smiled at them, trying his best to assure them that everything was alright…that was his job after all, being the substitute director…

But…

Is everything really going to be fine?
