Everything started to slow down and you felt like your soul is leaving the body. You could actually see yourself, standing in the kitchen and leaning on an island, a wince of pain drawing on your pale face. What should you do? Millions of thoughts were in your head and you just grabbed your phone and dialed 1. You took few deep breaths, just as you learnt before, waiting for him to pick up the phone.
“I’m on the parking lot, jagi. I’ll be in a minute. They didn't have the one you wanted so I took –”
“Oppa!!” you interrupted him and called, trying to not sound like in too much pain
“MinHee??” he knew. With just one word from you, he already recognized what’s going on and before you dropped your phone you heard him running upstairs.
“Babe!” few seconds later he bursed in your shared apartment, dropping a bag with food you send him for and running to you
“I think it’s time” you said holding on your belly and trying to control your breathes. You already passed you due for couple of days, but just because of your overall well being during the whole pregnancy, your doctor said it’s okay for you to stay at home and wait there for couple of days in hopes the baby will decide to welcome the world by it’s own.
When you didn’t hear any response from your husband you looked up at him, just to see all colors on his face, from red, purple, green, to white pale
“Youngbae? Are you okay?” you asked, suddenly worried about him more than about yourself
He blinked few times and started to mumble something under his nose, while walking around the kitchen island.
“Bae? We need to go to the hospital” you said slowly. He stopped, looked at you then at doors that were still open, and back at you
“Yes. Yes, you’re right. . No, sorry. I love you” he mumbled and stepped toward you, giving you a quick kiss on the lips, then took your hand and walked you to the doors.
“We need my bag” you stopped in the middle of the way and he looked at you like you’d start talking in a diffe
