“Don't you dare say you're fine, you have a fever, and I'm taking you to the hospital.” Daehyun muttered, standing up so he could lift his boyfriend. Youngjae made a sound of protest, and scooted away from Daehyun's reach. “N-No! No hospital's, I'm fine.”

“Shut up.” Daehyun muttered harshly, “You are not fine, and I am not having the man I love roll around in pain like this – so tough it out, you're going.”

Youngjae looked up at Daehyun for a long moment, his heart swelling with love – before he nodded. “...Alright.”

“Good,” Daehyun grinned, and leaned over to slip his arms under the younger. He pulled Youngjae up into his arms, and carried him easily. Youngjae's face hid into Daehyun's shoulder, feeling secretly glad that his boyfriend was so worried about is health – about him. He gave a shaky breath as Daehyun took him to his car.

“I love you, Dae.”

“Love you too baby, now shh. You need your rest okay? I'll make sure you get there in one piece.”

“I'm so scared,” Daehyun said sarcastically and Youngjae gave a weak slap to his arm as Daehyun buckled him into the seat.

Daehyun just gave him a smile and Youngjae couldn't help but smile in return.
