Reply 1996 is about a group of high schoolers and their experiences at the beginnng of an end filled with unforgettable memories, life-changing descisions, and infamous heartaches. It is set in 1996 at Seosan Bording School (SBS) in South Chungcheongnam Province and in 2014 at a house in Seoul .

When your only worries were passing the high school exit exam. A time when you cried harder, loved more, and experienced everthing for the first time.

Characters

Park Family

Bom (18) - The quirky, odd, and loud mouthed senior. She has better things to do like sing and figure out who ate her pudding. Generally she's a good person but has a mischievous side.

Kang Joon -  The silent and polar opposite of his sister. Although he barely talks, he was very protective of his younger sister.

Sora (47) - Playful and vibrant. Bom gets her mischevious side from her. Although she hot-tempered and not able t convey her feelings very well, she looks out and takes care of her family. Mother of Bom and Kang Joon. 

Sung Woo (48) - Former rock star who now teaches music. Sometimes called Mama Park due to his care for everyone and excessive cooking. Father of Bom and Kang Joon.         

Song Family

Song Ga Yeon (17) - The shy, quiet, and mysterious junior. She's the timid little girl with her hair covering her face. Despite her quiet nature she likes to do martial arts and can out snore anyone.

Song Soo Hyun  (45)- A troubled mother with a troubled causing her relationship with her daughter, Ga Yeon, to become old and distant. She is the younger sister of Sora.

Lee/Jo Family

Lee Dong Wook (18) – The mysterious, brooding, yet easy-going senior. He's the most popular guy in school; everyone either wants to be his girlfriend or be him. He’s a close family friend and neighbor to Sung Woo/Sora Park family and cousin to Se Ho.

Jo Se Ho (18) – The happy-go-lucky, funny, and always hungry senior. His worries included what’s his next meal and if he has the money for it, but everything begins to change when he finally looks up and sees a girl. The cousin of Dong Wook.

Park Min Woo (18) - The sweet, boy-next-door, caring senior. He’s always looking for ways to improve and brighten people’s day. Being a recent transfer, he -along with his brother Chan Yeol- is what the school only talks about.

Park Chan Yeol (17) – Shy and timid until you get to know him. A junior. The dorky yet adorable younger brother of Min Woo who’s always excited under his big, bulky glasses. Or maybe he's just hiding something?
