MOOD AND THEMES (3/10)
Time and again, this is the part that hurts the most. The mood and theme. You provided a romance plus angst theme. Your title is taken from an Infinite song that I do love very much. In fact, if I hadn't heard this song, I wouldn’t have been an Inspirit at all. I know by heart the story of that song and even if I didn't, I still would have expected something less saturated and more dark for a piece of work with that theme and title. The colors are romcomdiculous. We have cyan, pink, purple; all sweet and vibrant . Then we have a lime (?) green band with pale yellow text. And then we have all the other colors that are their clothes.
Why?
Why all these colors? It makes no absoinlutely no sense in this theme. I'm not saying that these colors can not be used in angst. They can be. But definitely not in this vibrance and absolutely not all at the same time. It looks too happy.
COLOR HARMONY (5/10)
Since the colors don't make sense in the romance+angst theme, I am going to evaluate your color harmony in the romcom perspective. It's still not good even as for a romcom color harmony. Why? Because it still has way too many colors. You have three colors in your background and all your characters are wearing solid colors too that they are accounted for in your main color harmony. So we have a glaring cyan, Barbie pink, Justin Bieber purple, a pretty shade of pale yellow, true blue ad Sungjong's red shoes. I didn't count Sungyeol's clothes since they are not bright and therefore do not command attention. We have about six colors competing for your eye's attention. The only time that works is in a rainbow or a skittles candy wrapper.
What you could have done to save this poster if you wanted to keep the three solid color backgrounds is to replace them with colors that are readily available in your palette: the boys' clothes. So maybe instead of purple, cyan and pink, you could have gone for blue, yellow and red. So I lazily threw it in ps and replaced the color and this is roughly what it looks like if you replaced the colors.
See how simply by reducing your palette, the entire thing seems more together and less strawberry fields forever? Just a bit more fixing on the general coloring and sharpness and it could work…
But then again, remember that I am saying all this in romcom perspective. If you were really going for angst, going for a flag background isn't the smartest idea.
STOCK USES (20/25)
It is a very minimalist poster and as such, I wouldn't expect so much stock aside from the characters and hopefully a background. But since we have no other stock aside from the characters, we shall focus on that.
I am giving you a high grade for this because the photos you used are good. I assume that they are pre-cut because they do not have anything in common aside from that I have seen precut photos of these exact imag
