MOOD AND THEMES (5/10)
Nothing quite says romance and summer vibe more than girls wearing midriffs holding ually suggestive props and slathering whipped cream all over. And in case no one has caught on, I'm being sarcastic. I am fifty-fifty about your given theme and the pictures used. Yes, it is very summery with the blue ocean backdrop and scantily clad Bora and Hyorin. But I'm not really sure what is romantic about it unless romance to you means Spring Breakers.
The only thing that saves the mood and theme of it is the fun vibe we are getting from their smiling faces and the ocean. That's pretty much it. To be honest, it's more of on the Beach rather than Summer Romance. Although and romance are like cousins, they are the type of cousins who get compared to each other in a harsh way. ", you are such a disgrace to this family. Why can't you be more like your cousin Romance? She graduated from Oxford, last year she found the cure for cancer, and now she's getting engaged with this handsome musical genius. While you, you're out and about spreading your legs like a common hoe." You get my drift. and romance are not mutually inclusive sets. And before anyone raises a feminist brow at me saying that these girls are just y and it is not necessarily themed, kindly get the out of my universe. You can not even spell y without . Thank you. And in the same virtue, come on. Both of them are holding phallic objects while puckering their lips and then they are playing with whipped cream. I'm not really a pro in baking or whatever but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to spread it all over your thighs unless it's some kink. And if it is your kink, by all means, spread it. But no. Don't tell me this is about romance. Flowers are romantic. Whipped cream is .
Also, the pictures of the girls are too warm. Waaay too warm for summer. Which leads to the next segment. Colors
COLOR HARMONY (8.5/10)
From this point onward, I would assume now that the theme is a y summer so that I won't have to deduct points whenever I see something that doesn’t quite fit in the romance theme.
Theoretically, I like the color palette used. Ocean and sky blue then you have the girls who are mostly wearing shades of pink then black. Loads and loads of warm colors to contrast with the cool blue. But then that's where things went a bit wrong. There is way too much warmth in the pictures of Sistar. Look at their skin. Too much magenta in it. It doesn’t even look like a legit tan. That wouldn’t be too distracting if the girls were not dominating the picture too much. But as it is, the girls are stacked foreground almost haphazardly and all I could focus on is how warm their colors are. I know that maybe you got these pictures from a source that already played with the color levels but maybe you could have toned them down so that they wouldn't be so painful against the background. Other than the clash with the warm and cool, I'm okay with your color choices.
STOCK USES (16/25)
10/15 pts people stock- First of all, you chose good quality pictures. It is good that they are from the same set so their color palette and overall sharpness and quality are similar. However I am deducting points due to the fact that they look like sardines crammed in the can with no idea of what they're doing there whatsoever. I can't even begin how to make sense of their placement in an artistic perspective. Why is Hyorin shown in two semi closeup renders while Bora is shown in two full body renders? Why are their bodies impossibly darker than their faces? What is up with the glaring light on the top part of Hyorin's face? I just can't seem to find a rhyme and reason to the decision making of your people placement.
6/10 pts Other stuff- I like the background of the sea and sky. But aside from that, there is pretty much nothing else. As I have said in other reviews, minimalism is good but you should know well what your elements do because the fewer they are, the more attention each one of them gets. The white shapes and the ribbon are a bit random, I like that on the right side o
