I headed up to my room, when I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket, signaling that I had a new text message. I opened it up and read it, a smile forming on my face after I was done.

I quickly replied with a “Yes,” and he told me to meet him outside in 20 minutes. I quickly went to my room and changed into something more comfortable. I put on a Spongebob Squarepants T-shirt, and pulled on a pair of jeans. I grabbed a hoodie I had “borrowed” from Henry, and slipped it on over my shirt.

I opened the door to my room and walked to the top of the stairs, only to see me parents standing near the front door, talking about something. “Aish...” I mutter, under my breath and head back to my room. I walk to my bed and pull out the rope ladder from underneath. I opened my window, set up the ladder, and made sure it was secure before starting to climb my way down.

When I around 5 feet off the ground, I accidentally missed a rung in the ladder, and started to fall. I didn’t scream, in fear that I would be caught. Besides, it wasn’t like I hadn’t fallen from the ladder before. So I just shut my eyes, and waited for the impact of the cold, hard ground beneath. To my surprise, I never met the ground. Instead, it actually felt kind of comfortable... I opened my eyes to see Henry smiling at me, and a look of relief spread across his features. That was when I realized that he was holding me.... Bridal style. I could feel my cheeks starting to warm up to a blush, from the rush of blood to my face. The fact that he was holding me made my heart speed up, like it always did when I was around Henry.
