Well . I watched as Mom walked back and forth across her room. Her feet hitting the ground as she shook her head. "M-Mom!" I croaked out the word. She twisted her head and looked over to me in disgust. I gave her a hopeful look, smiling as if I was an angel. Pfft, I am an angel. "I used a !" I wiggled my brows at her, as if I was already safe from this problem. 

, she's running towards me. Nope, not running, galloping. "Aish you!" She smacked the back of my head. Oh god, well don't I know where my strength came from. Her, of course. I groaned and rubbed the back of my head.
