Engaged With A Fish (ft. Donghae)

Oldshots

You woke up in the arms of someone.

Blinking, your fuzzy eyes adjusted to the light.

Turning your head to meet your fiance, you gave a quick kiss on his forehead.

"Good morning Donghae," you said, tired, but cheerily.

"Good morning..." he mumbled, not opening his eyes.

Wiggling to get out of his grasp, he only held you tighter in his embrace.

"Hey," you whined, and he gave a tired laugh that sounded so y to you.

Donghae turned you around, so that your face and his face were only centimeters apart.

Finally, he blinked his eyes open.

"Good morning," he said again. "Kiss?"

You rolled your eyes and smiled, giving him a kiss on his lips.

"Good girl," he smiled to you, phrasing it as if you were a puppy. You pouted.

"Hey-" You were interrupted by the door swinging open and in alarm, you two jumped at least half a foot away from each other.

Clutching your heart while sitting up, it was only your bigger brother, Junghoon.

"Knock before you open, pabo!" you sighed in relief.

"Sorry," he put his hands up in surrender, and added, "It's not like you guys were doing anything too serious anyways."

You gave him a little scowl, and slipped out of bed, putting your feet in your slippers.

Stretching, you yawned and Junghoon pulled out a clipboard from Sungmin, who handed it to him.

"Okay, dongsaeng, today we're deciding on what decorations you want, and we're finalizing the dress decision tomorrow okay?" You nodded, barely paying any attention. "Your wedding it just in a month, so we have to be precise."

"Ne, ne," you responded. "I'm going to brush my teeth."

"Ah, ne," your oppa nodded, and quickly rushed out of the room.

"Finally, we're alone again. This wedding's driving me crazy. There's not a moment of rest." Donghae muttered, walking over to hold you in his embrace.

You were quiet for a second.

"So do you not want to get married to me?" you asked quietly.

Donghae glanced down at you, and gave you a reassuring kiss.

"Of course I do. I want to be with you forever and ever. It's just that everyone's making this more complicated than it should be." he answered.

You nodded in agreement.

"Besides, we've already gone this far, why not get it over with?" he gave a smile and you craned up to reach his lips with yours.

He bent down a bit to help you out and you kissed him.

You went down and laced your fingers between his.

"We should go brush our teeth now," you gave a light laugh and he nodded.

You two walked side by side together, enjoying every single second together.

You sat at the dining table, groaning silently to yourself as you played with your pencil.

"Dongsaeng-ah," Junghoon didn't pay any attention to you. Instead he was more fixated with the wedding details. "You want a sapphire blue and white wedding?"

You nodded.

"Yeah." you said.

Donghae picked the color, not you.

But you liked it anyways.

"Okay," he said, giving a firm nod, scribbling it onto the paper on his clipboard.

"Did I miss anything?" you heard your fiance's voice, and turned.

He crooned down and you stretched your neck to help him a bit, and he kissed your lips, his arm on your shoulder.

Sitting down on the chair next to you, Donghae smiled to your oppa.

"So, hyung, what's happened?" he asked, propping his elbows on the table, and putting his head in his hands.

"Nothing much," Junghoon oppa replied, not even looking up. He was busy scibbling and erasing details.

"Doooonghaeee! Dooongsaaaeng!" you heard Super Junior cry out and you groaned silently.

They all ran in the kitchen and flocked themselves around the table.

Yesung held out a phone.

"Teuk made a call from the army, say hello! I'll put it on speaker for you guys." he fumbled with it, and then set it on the table.

"Donghae! What's this business about you getting married before me?" Teuk sounded the same; childish, playful, but fun.

"You were too late, hyung!" Donghae teased.

"And then I hear that your bride is Junghoon hyung's younger sister? What are you thinking!" Teuk laughed.

"It's okay Teuk, oppa approves," you replied.

"But you're his little sister!" Teuk sounded surprised.

"Teuk, Teuk, Teuk, my little sister's growing up. MAKES HER OPPA CRY," Junghoon oppa said, pretending to cry.

"Oppa...," you sighed, and gave him a pat on his shoulder. "It's okay."

"Aww, family love!" Shindong burst out.

"Well, it seems crazy over there. Glad I'm in the army, for once," Teuk let out a sigh of relief, loud enough for everyone to hear.

"But Teuk! Teuk! Teeeuk!" Kangin dragged his voice, and you silently groaned.

Leeteuk was right, it's been really hectic.

Sometimes makes you wish you were in the army with him and Heechul.

"Wait, Teuk, are you and Heechul coming to the wedding?" you asked.

"Hm? Well your wedding is in a month... Let's see... Of course we're coming! We can't just miss our baby Donghae's wedding!" he laughed.

"Hey," Donghae pouted and you just gave a kiss on his cheek.

You set your head on his shoulder, and you silently groaned again when Siwon made a big fuss about it.

"Aww fish couple for life!" he squealed. It almost looked so abnormal, since this was Siwon.

"Does this mean we can invite Hangeng?" Kyuhyun said awkwardly. "I mean, he and Heechul were best friends. I think it'd be nice if he saw the group again."

Junghoon oppa shrugged.

"It's his choice. He might be too busy in China." he answered.

Talking about Geng had been a sensitive topic.

Everyone missed him a whole lot, and one day, Donghae even started to cry a bit.

It took a while to console him, but you were thinking the same as everyone else.

Does Geng even want to see you guys?

Well, he's Hangeng. He's nice and cool.

You were pretty sure he was over the whole lawsuit thing.

Right?

Snapping out of your thoughts, Ryeowook tried to ease up the mood.

"So are you letting fans come to the wedding?" he asked, curiously.

Donghae laughed a bit.

"No, it'd be crazy. We don't have enough food for that many people. Besides, they'll all go crazy, and I don't want anyone injured on my wedding day." he replied.

"Good job," Shindong groaned. "I don't want them to get crazy, cause we all know even the sane fans get sasaeng when they see us."

Junghoon oppa nodded.

"Well, which dress do you want?" he said, showing pictures of white dresses.

"That one, that one!" Yesung pointed to the picture farthest to the left.

"No this, are you stupid?" Siwon pointed to the one in the middle.

"No, you have no sense of woman fashion, stop," Sungmin pointed to the one on the right.

"No, you're too girly, think about men's taste," Kyuhyun shot back, touching the one between the farthest left and the third picture.

"No, ew, Kyuhyun, you're the maknae, you don't know anything," Eunhyuk pushed his finger away.

You gave a small groan, and Donghae pat your back gently, giving your forehead a quick kiss.

It was just this hectic for the rest of the wedding planning.

Finally it was your wedding day.

You wore a long, ivory silk dress, that the group had finally decided to compromise on.

You rubbed your temples.

Thank goodness you didn't have to spend another day listening to them going crazy.

You felt a pair of arms hug you from behind.

You turned back, and your gaze met Donghae's.

"We're gonna be married soon, huh?" he smiled.

You nodded.

"You're gonna be my yeobo," you smiled back.

"Yeobo... I like the sound of that," Donghae said, trying it out.

He looked so concentrated on that, and you couldn't help but kiss his lips.

"You excited?" you asked.

He gave a firm nod.

"And nervous. I can't believe we're finally getting married. After all that trouble we went through too." he sighed.

"Yeah. I'm gonna be Mrs. Lee Donghae, though," you pointed out.

Donghae nodded, resting his head on your shoulder.

"Donghae..." you said, concerned.

"Just for a second," he murmured, closing his eyes.

You rolled your eyes.

"Did you get enough sleep?" you asked.

"Just enough," he whispered softly. His breathing was even and it tickled your bare shoulders.

"But you know..." he continued on.

"Hm?"

"I think a kiss from you would make me a billion times more energetic."

You laughed at his cunning words.

"Okay," you turned your head and your lips met with his.

You pulled away and Donghae opened his eyes, furrowing his brow at the sudden loss.

"You have to be a good boy, though," you teased.

"Aish, you're just like manager hyung. Teasing me all the time," Donghae pouted.

"Hm," you hummed. "I love you~"

Donghae gave a smile and looked up at you.

You looked back at him.

"I love you too."

It turns out that Hangeng really did come.

"Ah, Donghae, you've grown up so fast! You're already married to a wonderful girl," he pat his back encouragingly.

"Kamsahamnida," he replied, strongly.

Hangeng smiled and looked at you.

"You've grown up too. I remember when you were just a teenager. Times have really passed by fast..." he said, reminiscing.

You nodded.

"It's really nice to see you too, ge ge." you teased.

"Oh, I see you've learned some Chinese while I was gone too," Hangeng inspected you with amazement, his eyes narrowed a bit.

"I wanted to impress you," you laughed.

"Good job," Hangeng gave you a pat on your shoulder.

"Geng, you're here!" you heard someone shout.

Turning your head, you saw Heechul.

"Chul? Is that you?" Hangeng looked at him, amazed. "You look so different!"

Heechul nodded. "Thanks. You too!"

He took Hangeng's arm and pulled him to the crowd, leaving you and Donghae alone together.

You looked up at him and tears were growing in his eyes.

"Donghae...," you started to say, offering him a tissue.

He pushed your hand away.

"Ani, I'll be a good husband for you, and from now on, I won't cry. I'll be strong so I can support us." he firmly said.

"Donghae," you blushed softly, and looked down to hide your embarrassment. "Kamsahamnida."

"Hm," Donghae replied, kissing your forehead. "I love you, dongsaeng."

"Yeobo," you corrected, reaching up to kiss his lips. "And I love you too."

"Forever and ever, yeobo?" he asked as you pulled away.

"Yes." you said, looking into his clear eyes, seriously. "Forever and ever."
