The tip of his finger hovers over the 'send' button, heavy and sweaty and Yifan contemplated over and over whether to press or move mere centimeters over to the 'correct' button. He knows he shouldn't do this. He will get ignored anyway, not that he doesn't deserve it, but there is the annoying part inside his heart nagging to know. To know if there is still a space left for him. 

Yifan closes his eyes and touches his screen, handing his life to luck or loss. When he opens his eyes again, the words are sent. Now there is no turning back. 

He is so nervous that he drops his phone when it vibrates 10 minutes later. Yifan counted them accurately. The letter sign on his display makes something in his stomach drop; he feels nauseous and hesitantly unlocks his screen, opening the message. Joonmyeon's name flashes past his eyes and then the words make his heart race in a way he only feels when the other slings an arm around his hips. 

"I miss you too, you idiot."
